SWC The Official SWC Dueling Thread

Xana casually lifts her blade up in mock defense and as Furio stabs parries the first blow she then advances into him. Inches away from his face with his saber safely to the side she grins and pulls out a knife. The blade inches from his sternum. She slowly turns her head towards Luke and cockily says. "I'll be with you in a minute.

 

*Looks at Xana's knife and smiles. Sithly eyes shine through*

Oh, pretty.

*Head butts her in the nose, and Force pushed her into the wall.*

Whoever you're talking to will have to wait more than a minute.

*Raises blade in anticipation*

 

Xana flies backwards and then hits the wall feet first. She bends her legs to absorb the impact and then sends herself hurtling back at Furio. She slashes at his waist with her sword and at his eyes with her knife.

 

Ah, well then, you two take your time. *returns saber to his belt, and hits the bar off to the side for a nice mug of hot chocolate while he waits* Good stuff. Might treat you to a mug or two when this is all over.

*sips hot chocolate as he watches the two duel, patiently waiting his turn*

 

Oh Man. Decisions, decisions.

*Prepares to stop the blade slash to the waist, and tries to pull his head back to avoid the knife. The blade is stopped but the knife makes contact slicing open his cheek. Rolls to opposite side of Xana to re-asert his stance. Wipes blood from his face.*

Nice.

*Ignites second lightsabre blade given to him by Emperor Charn. Force throws his own blade at Xana's throat and sprints in behind it to attack at her torso with Charn's blade.*

 

Xana's eyes widen in shock. But then gleam as she feels the blood pouring from her nose, run down her face. A sudden thought hits her and she grins ferally. The blood falls from her chin and travels down to the ground. Her hands frantically go through a series of motions and then a blood droplit hits the ground. Immediately thorns start growing up rapidly from the ground and soon stand as a hedge between her and her attacker. "She tilts her head and says. "First rule of the sith: Never spill a nightsister's blood. I thought you would know that."

 

*Gets caught by one of the thorns which cuts his leg at the thigh. Force leaps up grabbing onto a pillar. Calls back his lightsabre.*

Sith Alchemy. Interesting.

*Jumps back down into the arena, using Force Lightning to make a path along with slicing into the thorns with both blades. Finally gets into the middle, and looks for Xena.*

I have a couple of tricks of my own, Nightsister!

*Fires toxic sabre-darts from his wrist mounted cannon.*

Dodge that.

 

Xana spins sideways and tries to avoid all the darts. But there were just too many. Her head spins and she collapses to the ground. Her body convulses and then small droplets of toxin rolls off of her skin and she shakily stands to her feet. Her body clean of impurities.

She gazes upon the thorns and they burst into flames. One by one they explode in the heat and soon a noxious gas fills the air. Then with a flick of her wrist the cloud surrounds Furio.

 

*The cloud surrounds him and engulfs his lungs. He Force Pushes the air to move the cloud but starts to feel wozy and about to faint. Looks around and fires a tow cable from his other arm mounted unit into a pillar and pulls him self out of the cloud. Notices Xana still recovering and kneels on top of the pillar. Re-calls a breathing technique that purges his system, and breaths cleaner air. Re-focuses*

I am ready.

*Replaces Charn's blade on his belt, and ignites his lightsabre and jumps off the pillar. Fires Force lightining and raises his blade. Lifts the blade over his head for a powerful overhand strike at Xana's head.*

 

*hodded man enters, wielding a lightsaber hilt that is slightly longer than an average one and is slightly curved. He watches the battle*

 

*curiously looks at the man as he watches the battle himself*

 

-turns, holding blade and gestures at the man before igniting his red blade and opening himself to a makashi stance-

 

Xana weighs the options and parrys Furio's overhand strike. She gasps as the lightning dances across her body. As Furio lands next to her however sheswings the flat of her blade and sweeps his feet out from under him. She stands a few feet away; her sword resting lightly on his adam's apple.

 

**Jumps out of the way, but not quick enough before something sharp finds her, and the Sith suffers a cut to the left leg by a piece of the debree, but not a very deep cut**

**Lundging at her opponent, prj1 attempts to cut QGR's saber arm off with her blade**

Let us see how great you truly are, Jedi.

 

*continues sipping hot choclate, waiting for the Furio vs. Xana fight to end, and gauging how the two fight- so no matter who he ends up fighting, he'll be prepared*

 

To block the dragon's fire, T'Jace released his grip on the dragon, using its power to double the strength of his pull on the ground, which he then caused to fly into the air, shielding him from the fire.

 

*Uses his sabre to slap away Xana's blade, and rolls to the side using the Force and stands again.*

I've had enough of the games.

*Uses Force choke to hold Xana up and whips her across the floor. Ignites and throws Charn's sabre at Xana, and prepares with Force Lightning ready to strike*

 

*watches my apprentice with a grin*

 

Keil walks into the arena lightsaber in it's holster, as she nears the center of the arena she takes her lightsaber into both hands, igniting it. "Come out, come out, wherever you are. You cannot stay away forever. We have a score to settle" Keil waits patiently, expectantly, for her competitor to come out of the shadows and duel

 

"Upping the ante are we?" Xana laughs with anticipation and then suddenly gasps as the words are choked from her throat.

She sends a sharp for push into Furio's gut knocking the wind from him and then gasps as he loses concentration and lets her go. As she gets to her feet again Furio's lightning strikes her and she grins. The lightning courses through her and she lets out a laugh. Her body glowing as more and more power enters her. Then she slowly raises her hands to the air and the lighning shoots to the skies. Storm coulds roll in and the wind picks up. "Thank you." She says with a grin. "By myself I could never have gathered so much power." A funnel slowly descends the the earth and makes it's way towards Furio.

 

Weather? You hit me with nature? Xana, I am a Force of Nature!

*Furio gets caught up in the funnel and starts to get pulled up in the mini tornado. Losing his footing in the storm and getting violently tossed around, he uses the Force to steady himself in the storm. Furio uses his wrist mounted grapel launcher and fires at one of the stone pillars in the arena. He barely hits the pillar and pulls himself on top of it and above the storm which is going the other way.*

Obviously more than simple lightsabre play won't finish this. Let's try something different.

*Furio kneels and recalls Charn's teachings of Sith Alchemy. Rises and finds a mynock hiding in it's nest, Furio calls to it in the Force and makes it come to him. He then says an old and ancient Sith spell and transforms it to four times it's size. Furio leaps on to it's back and flies down at Xana with the Mynock spewing an acidic paste at her.*

 

Xana watches on her admiration growing for her adversary with each passing second. "Very good but let's see you bet this!" Xana leaps into the air straight through the globs of acid, the drops change form as she touches them and soon an army of flesh eating bugs flies towards Furio. She follows sfiflt behind them and spears her sword through the mynock's chest. It plummets to the ground followed by the swarm of bugs.

 

Oh Crap.

*Furio sees the swarm and Force jumps off the mynock's back, and using the grapel launcher again gets to a spectator balcony. As the swarm approaches him, Furio ignites both sabres and creates a sheild by twirlling them with Force enhanced speed, that destroys most of the swarm, but some get through and eat through his robe and onto his clothing. Thankfully no farther than that because he has armour on his upper body. His face is attacked by a few of the leftover insects that Furio picks off with his lightsabres. Thankfully he is only left with more cuts and new bites marks on his arms, legs, and face.*

Well Xana, let us stay on the nature theme.

*Through the Force Furio senses an under ground river raging under the arena. He then leaps to the ground and fires Force Lightning at Xana to keep her occupied for a few moments. On the ground he takes both sabres and expands the holes that Xana's thorns made before, which destabilizes the floor causing it to crack and crumble. Water rages into the arena up the path that Furio cut with his sabres. With a powerful Force push Furio makes the water rage even harder towards Xana.*
