you ok Shira?
what training do you have ponysnips?
As for training, I'm still learnin'. But I got a bit of a fight in me!
well you can fight either
Crystalia: see icon= Febrayasi mentor and all around nice girl
Talanis: blood thirsty and mean, a violent Vasalian female
Sistros: mysterious sage, can be brutal
Well, seeing you are here..... *Draws both lightsaber and shoto*......I choose you!
Crystalia comes and goes,
she's like that
so as Sistros
Jetedonne Pur-Pureus saunters into the arena, head bowed and lighsaber at the ready.
The curtain had been drawn up, the veil lifted as this was to be the first time he'd ever arrived in a dueling arena and he basked in the spectacle of it all. He realizes he's not nervous so much as anxious for what is to come. Eager for what is to be...
The familiar, all-too distinctive hum sounds off, only this time slightly different...perhaps complimented by the echoes encompassing, contained inside of the arena.
Swiftly now, he dances whirling and waving the lightsaber about to-and-fro, like a maestro pursuing the seemingly, ever-elusive dream of composing their greatest masterpiece. For each action, impressions materialize in the air about him and dust kicks up besieging him.
Through gritted teeth he strives not to breathe in the powdery, chalk-like substance and he beams with pride as he nails each of the intricacies and complexities of his elected styles.
"Ready when you are Mentor Sistros!"
*comes out the shadows*
remind me agai of the styles you have chosen pupili
*puts lightsaber and shoto away*
*grabs more popcorn*
*sits on a nearby rock and takes notes*
Harba and Kalv, Mentor Sistros
Jetedonne speaks these words while still retaining the quality of stance associated with his carefully chosen forms of Febrayasi combat, and turning his head ever so slightly from the direction of Sistros his attention was now met with the knowledge that they had guests...
"Hello Ahsoka, hello General"
Greetings Jetedonne. Some good stuff to see here.
"Most definitely, hopefully I won't mess up too horrifically in contrast to those who've fought here before me"
"But make yourself at home as this could be embarrassing for me"
Hey, better than I could do. It's been many a year since I used a lightsaber....!
"Have you ever dueled here, then?"
Call me Snips, Jetedonne.
*Holds out popcorn bag*
*takes Snips' popcorn. All of it.*
No, I've never duelled here before Jetedonne. I will though at some point I guess, when the time is right.
*Jetadonne glances over to where Sistros is, notices he's not watching at the moment and hastily breaks stance rushing over to where there's food, snatching a handful from the bag the General just looted*
*Jetedonne moves back into his previous position and takes on the latter stance again*
"When that time comes, I'm sure you'll do great General"
to start with you will be taught Harbá
now, this style as you know is defensive, so you don't attack,
for this reason many young students find this style boring,
do you still wish to continue
since Harbá is defensive, you will be getting a lot of heavy blows thrown in your direction.
So the first thing to do in this style is to properly grip the handle.
This means that your right hand should be above the left hand when holding it.
You first stance is holding your hilt from your belly, the blade pointing upwards, this is known as POINTE ONE position
Jetedonne takes the stance just as Sistros had depicted it.
He places his right hand above his left and clutching to his saber handle with a steely-grip he places the hilt at his belly, and points the blade upwards.
*He muses silently to himself in spite of his success, "pointe one...no...more like 10/10..."*
this stance enables you to move the blade in a semi circle fashion, side to side, thus protecting your legs, torso and neck from a frontal attack.
Practice moving your blade in circles.
Jetadonne commences by fashioning polished rings in the air about him.
Each more magnificent in its balance between sheer size and true splendor.
you definately have the hang of this
stand with your legs slightly apart, and hold the hilt with the right hand, down by your side, twist your wrist in a comfortable position so the the blade is in a diagnal position protecting the chest and left shoulder, this is known as the Position two block
He follows his Mentor's directives to a tee.
Standing erect and positioning himself to where he situates his legs into their specified locations as outlined earlier by Mentor Sistros, he firmly grasps the hilt of his lightsaber and brings it down at his side.
Rotating his wrist, whilst keeping it in a contented position he makes sure his lightsaber is arranged into its diagonal placement just as he had intended for it to be. Placing it as such as if it were a key safeguarding his heart.
