I'm pleased to announce the next installment of the new fan audio drama series, "Star Wars: Anthology". "Star Wars: To Overcome" is an original story written by Christopher Walker (me). It will be directed, produced, and mixed by Nathan Butler. Casting, Music Selection, and Sound Effects Selection will be by Christopher Walker and Nathan Butler.

"Star Wars: To Overcome" is based off of an entry from the personal writings of Christopher Walker, and is slated for an early 2004 release.

Please expect future announcements in this thread.

    Thanks. :)

The first of the guest/featured writers to actually have a script *done* for "Anthology."

    Weeeee. :D

Chris, any updates on when you'll start casting and such, or is this put off by the NJO project?

It's put off by the incessant amount of distractions (like moving into the dorm at university) that I have to put up with.

I finish my projects. It's just that the timeline got pushed back unexpectedly. May take me awhile to deliver, but I always finish. :D I'll post a casting thread when the NJO casting assignments have been caught up with. Hopefully soon.

    That works.

For right now, as far as Anthology goes, of nine, there are scripts, counting "To Overcome" done for seven. Two are out, one is done and ready to come out, and two more are in mid-mixing. That leaves three that aren't done being written yet. If we reach the releases of all five of the ones mixed or being mixed, we can always put on a slight hiatus for Anthology while we wait.

Well I want to get the voices to you on time so Anthology can continue its monthly releases. ASAP of course, but assuming To Overcome is the last one of the seven so far written, when's my deadline to get the casting done by?

Sean: Got a page count thus far?

Chris: You'd be #6, for Dec. But I may go bi-monthly and do it on months when there is no CR.

Alright folks. CASTING is now open! :D To Overcome is told in the second person (You) and is superfically about a young man who dies in war. There's more to it than that on a deeper level, though.

Anywho, here are the parts available!

    Narrator (Filled by Nathan Butler)
    Voice
    Trooper Capt.
    You
    Recruiter
    Sate Pestage
    Mom

    Character Notes:
    1. Voice is preferably female, with a soft but strong voice.
    2. Trooper Captain is a young man.
    3. You is a male.
    4. Recruiter is an older man, probably in his 30?s to middle aged.
    5. Sate Pestage is a middle aged to old man.
    6. Mom is a middle-aged female.

If you're interested, drop me an e-mail. E-mails will be promptly responded to with a reply containing the script and the segment for you to read for your audition.

This audio play is pretty short, so if I post any segments of it here it'll give the plot device away.

If you have done previous audio work and don't want to submit an audition, then just note in the e-mail what parts you played and in what productions and Nathan and I will give them a listen.

Mail casting inquiries and audition requests to: casting@skywalkeronline.net

    Cheers!
    Chris

Chris: You might want to try tapping Krista Kolesar for "Voice." Catch me online about her.

Casting notices have been sent out. I still need parts for 'Voice' (female), 'Mom' (female), and 'Recruiter'(male) if anyone is willing to provide them.
