The OFH mourned the losses of three members of the Fan Force community.

Anna Kelichhaus ([b]Marani[/b]) of the German Fan Force passed away on April 9, 2008.

Jerry Munsie ([b]DMZBADGER[/b]) from Niagara Falls, Ontario passed away on May 10th, 2008.

Nick Ring ([b]Fanboy_Solo[/b]) of the Young Jedi Niagara passed away on July 5, 2008.

[b][u][color=blue][hl=white]Past Shenanigans[/b][/u][/color][/hl]

[b]April 1, 2008[/b]. A day the Rocky Mountain Fan Force will remember forever. In one of our meanest pranks ever, the OFH began removing CR colors and forum banners weeks before April Fools Day, blaming it on "technical issues." Then, in one final swoop, our new admin "accidentally" deleted the Rocky Mountain Fan Force. We do apologize to those who are still upset at the joke, but honestly, it was hilarious.


[b]Jedi-Con[/b] - On Easter weekend it was once again time for the German convention Jedi-Con. The European FanForce people had decided early on to also make this our annual European FanForce Meeting. The weekend was great, and the German-Speaking FanForce also had a table that was very well received, might have had something to do with the delicious wookie cookies on offer there. Instead of a bigger dinner the participants ended up with take-away pizzas in one of the hotel rooms, but except for the persons falling asleep on the floor everyone enjoyed it.

[b]Star Wars Weekends at Disney World[/b] - SWW returned to the Magic Kingdom and Lord Vader danced to Thriller.

Turkey had a meeting for the Indy IV opening weekend and Sweden had a meeting, that also served as a ROTS line reunion, when the Star Wars Exhibit opened in Örnsköldsvik.

Seriously, great to see another update.

An excellent update.

I think going for quarterly updates will serve to inform the FanForce membership much better than attempting monthly ones.
