I still think Rakata was overused a little bit, why not develop the Voss a bit more?

 

There's only so much story material you can get out of peyote trips.

 

That's one of the things that disappointed me about SWTOR, the original 1-50 story had some quite interesting things, such as the Voss, or even the esh-kha or all those prisoners breaking out on Belsavis, etc. A lot of things have changed since launch, but they haven't really gone back and reused any old story ideas or really developed some potential backstory (Smuggler as the new kingpin, what's up with the Mandalorians, etc.). The Dread Masters spun out of a Belsavis thing, but otherwise its basically go fight them here, go fight them there, done.

Rakata are an easy plot device for just about any "big problem". Oh, this Rakata tech will let them build up an army. Oh that Rakata tech can blow up planets or something, etc. KotOR did create the Rakata, but KotOR also had a clear arc (blow up the Star Forge). In SWTOR, the main war has kind of stalled out ever since launch, with the Empire possibly on the verge of defeat, but Makeb possibly turned things around for them.

Hm, wonder how Revan got his mask back. He had it for the Foundry flashpoint, right? Just curious as I remember a sidequest that revolved around getting the mask for the Revanites.

Revan sounds like the same VA to me.

 

I still think the Forged Alliance story was not presented well, how did Theron/Lana discover the treachery of their superior, how did they meet and decided to work together, these were not presented in the game, just quickly sent by words.

 

How did Lana know it's Revan? Why would she be able to feel his presence but others can't?

It was nice being back on Manaan. Sure, it's empty and the map is pretty much the same as KOTOR, and the Flashpoint vendor is bugged, but still... that music.

 

According to dataminer story expansion's abbreviation is "SOE" (like "ROTHC" was for "Rise of the Hutt Cartel"). Any ideas?

Shadows of Evil. There. You can smell how closely it connects to the plot.

 

It needs more Dark. Dark Shadows of Dark Evil, there you go.

 

Dark should be equivalent of "the" in titles.

It sounds silly but there's this little part of me that isn't convinced that this Revan is, well...Revan.

 

this game has really let itself go after it got erased from "canon"

 

This stuff would have been written or at least planned before that announcement. Canon has nothing to do with it.

Secret Order... Expansion? Ever the optimist, I'm taking a wait-and-see approach to everything. Or rather, wait and hear your reactions because it took me over a year to even start RotHC.

I'm still sticking with Sony Online Entertainment, though we'd need a level boost to 100 to defeat that.

Personally, I kinda like the title Song of Entropy, but I know there's no way they'd use a word like entropy.
