Revelin Thomas
Jedi Temple Interior

"I am no Master, Jedi Thomas. Only the guards call me and everybody else around here that. The Jedi Order, or what rmeains of it after the Sith Wars has gathered here anew under Master Bastila Shan. And we are glad you found your way back here. We need jedi. All the Jedi who can still see themselves as such." She claims not to be a Master? Well, the power I sensed from her is still unrefined? maybe still an important Knight? She handed him an access card and addressed him again. "Why don´t you take a shower and fresh robes and meet me here? We should talk, I think. "I will be here and head out later to the grea archieve of the Republic. Maybe you join me and we can . . . find out how you have been."

Revelin found an unused bedroom and locked himself in. Undressing, he jumped in the shower, his aching body rejoicing in the soothing waters. When he was done, he found some clean robes in the room that fit him fairly well. These were grey, and there was an accompanying cloak with them. I wonder whose these were, once upon a time? After hesitating slightly, he got dressed in these new robes. My vest still needs to be cleaned, so I?ll leave it here. But my weapons are coming with me. Which means? I?ll have to wear my lightsaber openly. He sighed. I guess there?s no helping it. He clipped his lightsaber to his belt, slid his knife into his boot, and stocked his throwing knife and hold-out blaster up his sleeve. Finally ready, he headed back towards the front gate to meet with Master Kae.

?They did so call me, though I have no way to tell if the name was false or true as only they spoke it after the Ithorian had done so. Whom they shortly killed.? He looked upon this man and felt as though he was himself fraught about with such weariness that he no longer cared of days nor names and so resigned both he and Cale to the fate that yet befell them.

?We are both with you Mule.? He half spoke and half a whisper as he wondered what Sissybear would have to deal with whatever had plagued her and her brother alone now. Because of him, and in a way from her shooting him, though of that he held no qualms even if it had been a harsh way to be greeted by one?s first moments of life. In a way they had proved prophetic of his whole day.

The Mule
Outside Hanna, Chandrilla

The Mule did not evenb turn to him but simply nodded on his way to the Navigation room of his little ship. "from the roof I could overheard your exchange of goods. A map for a blaster. I believe you own both now, do you? Whoever you are, you had an interest in this map. And the Ubese came looking for you exactly where you would find it. So did I. Obviously Teuka knew about it." The Mule folded his arms and looked at Criton. he would call him that for a lack of a better name. "Put in the starmap, the slot should work. It is old but Sith maps have a tendency to be, too." The Mule was curious what this was about. The galaxy was so vulnerable, so easy to push into one direction or the other and Teuka tried to stop this one man? This man?

"Let´s see what you got there."

Zariz & Carth Onasi
Aboard the Justice; Above Telos

?Zurin Arctus has without a doubt committed treachery by handing over his ship without a fight, but he had not the information necessary to be behind all leaks. I had an operative on Artus Prime and a spy fleet send by the Midrim Admiral to a gas giant nearby. Both were unknown to anybody but me and my closest officers and both had been compromised by this mysterious source and attacked by Ion Tarsis. No way had Zurin known about those. Surely not both. No, I am afraid there are only two possible explanations. The first is, it is me. The second is it is someone above me. And there are not many seats higher than an Admiral´s one, I assure you.? Carth sighed. Zariz folded her arms. No flaw in the Admiral´s logic was visible.

?We got a mole inside the command chain. Someone who can access the locations of all ships in the fleet, right? It is someone who has access to espionage operations. We got someone in central command giving away information to Ion Tarsis.? Zariz sighed. ?That one is bad. And it explains why they wanted the Jedi out of the picture.? Carth and Cilarn both nodded and then there was a moment of silence.

Then Zariz found a single detail in the whole idea that was missing. She took out the datapad given to her earlier. Telling of a Sith who had a contact on Telos. A Sith? Or was it another enemy of the Republic? They were too easy to be considered Sith, these days. ?Does someone with the name of Polo sound familiar to you, Admiral?? Zariz asked.

Carth Onasi looked up from his desk. ?A minor criminal in the lower levels of Citadel, as far as I heard.? He said and eyed Zariz. Zariz handed him the datapad. ?A minor criminal who owns a chiphre 3 coded private Asteroid with a direct link to seventeen key planets, just outside Telos.? Zariz added. Onasi looked at the datapad. ?Where did you get it from?? Onasi wondered. ?A friend of the order.? Onasi nodded. ?A trustworthy friend??
Zariz nodded.

?The middle man.? Onasi sighed in relief.

?The middle man.? Zariz answered. ?Send the assumed location to my personal comm.. Don´t tell anybody about it. Not even your most trusted officers.? She turned. Nodding to Cilarn to follow her. The boy did as she signaled him. ?Where do you go?? Onasi asked. But he already knew. He just regretted he could not get with her.

?I take out the middle man.?

Corina continued to indulge in this Jedi's presence. The Force flowed through him and the over flow hit Corina like a Corellian Freighter. Old aspects came alive in her. The darkness that clouded her was gone and she could communicate with Force easier.

"Who is this?" The human inquired as we entered the landing platform.

Corina responded in a low tone.?He is my Master?s Aide. Lictore. I don?t trust him.? A look of confusion came across her face as she scanned the platform. The Kiffar has recovered too many fugitives for the Hutt and never received an armed escort upon her return. She cocked an eyebrow up at the Human and thought ?But how did they know I was returning and I had brought a guest. Ryx didn?t report anything.? It was clear that more was going on then Corina understood. She moved to meet the Aide in the center of the platform.

"You brought a prisoner? But I see he still has his weapons?" Lictore greeted the Executor Corser. "Is this a Sith? Or a fallen Jedi? certainly he is not member of the order, is he?"

?He is a guest of mine and has requested to see my Master.? It was easy to tell that the Kiffar was ready to act after all she was the enforcer, the right hand of Durga. She rested a hand on her hip. There was a slight shudder of movement in the twenty or so Nikto, some raised their weapons partly while others didn?t fully understand what was happening. ?We will speak with him, Lictore, this is important and worth the interruption.? She did not wait for a response and pushed past the alien.

She stared at the Jedi and mumbled, ?I still think we are wasting time.?

Done, he thought as he flipped the last few switches. The powerful engine echoed through the hatch shortly as they winded down. The low rumbled shook the ship slightly. He rounded the throne that sat in the center of the U shaped control panel. He had begun straightening up Corina?s gear when he heard the commotion on the platform. Quickly grabbing the two blaster rifles from the wall mounts, Ryx, assisted by his size, was able to easily one hand the normal two handed rifles. Surprisingly for a creature of his stature, he was able to move swiftly. He towered at the opening of the shuttle, one arm hung lazily at his side with a rifle in hand, while the other hand propped its rifle leisurely with the barrel close to his head. He knew most of these guards and knew they stood no chance if it came to action; some even stunk of fear, uncommon for Nikto.

ooc: While waiting on Sinre, I move forward with Cilarn.

Cilarn; Justice; Above Telos

The Republic had a traitor. It was a frightening thought. ever since he had met these Jedi he had pondered over the idea to reveal where he came from. He felt soon or later it would be a topic if he did not pick the time to make it one himself. But now these thoughts floated into the far distance of his mind. No, never would he reveal his master to the Jedi as long as they relied on these corrupt military and government. He had heard of Saul Karath and how the Republic had held back first when the Sith arrived. He had not forgotten where Revan came from, who had given him his power originally. No, they would not be safe, yet. Not yet.

Here and now, Cilarn. return to the hereand now. Neither the future nor the past can answer the questions of the present.

He nodded to himself. Getting the middle man she had said. It was obviously an important mission. He liked Zariz, even though he did not know what to think of her . . . relationship to the other Jedi. He understood this Xelon. She was an attractive woman. Very much so, with her rough physiciality. So this is your way to stay in the here and now? Great job!

Cilarn smiled at himself. "Master Zariz, I see we can't trust anybody. But the man Polo might know we're here and that means he might be prepared for us to enter the liar of him with full force. Would it not be smarter to . . . adapt a little?" He asked and tried not to be disrespectful.

"If I speak out of place, forgive me." He added. He had never been around any Jedi except his Mistress and the other teachers. It was shocking how insecure he felt about it.

"I wasn't always a Jedi," murmurs Bao-Dur. He turns his attention back to OTO-1.

"The Inspector tells me you were conducting a routine check on your master when you discovered he was dead. Here are my questions for you. Answer them sequentially.

"Does your master have any medical conditions that require you to check on him so often?

"Which of your master's droids is most involved in assisting him in his daily affairs?

"Why are these HK Droids here, and have they ever been activated as far as you are aware?

Location: Outside Corvis

Zurin Arctus shifted his weight. The years he had spent in a Captain?s uniform had made him soft. He was pleased, however, that he had fit into the lightly armored jumpsuit as well as he did. While he was a ?hands on? Captain, his responsibilities usually led him to a command center rather than the front line. He did not mind being in the field though, in truth, this was a much need vacation from the cold, droll cabin of a battleship.

He did miss his wroshyr-wood floors though.

He turned his attention to the salvo of shuttles that were descending behind the hills. It was definitely more than a dozen or so refugees.

?Yes, we had better. You could just as easily move troops down in one of those shuttles. And the security here, well it wouldn?t surprise me if someone did land an army without alerting the authorities.? Zurin said.
He took the offered the macro-binocs and lifted them to his face. The viewfinder centered on one of the moving shuttles and zoomed in. Typical shuttle?nothing surprising, nothing unique.
?I think we better take speeders. If it?s not refugees we are going to need to move quickly. Plus, the less contact we have with the locals, the better.? Zurin decided.

Jonas Tavers
Coruscant, Motel, Near Entertainment Disctrict (Middle levels)

Head pounding, eyes still bleary and feeling like he was going to vomit. All this was normal for Jonas, what wasn't was the dead Twi'lek on the floor of his apartment. A thousand scenarios ran through his head. Who was this woman? Why was she here? What was she doing dead on his floor? Where was he going to dispose of her body?

All those questions need answers, fast. No sooner had he sat up in his bed than a pounding was heard at his door.

"Shab!" He cursed under his breath. No time to think, time only to react and hope he lives long enough to figure it out later. His pants still on, he holstered his blaster and grabbed his shirt from the floor. Quickly putting it on he grabbed the few other things that had meaning to him. His pack, which was full of the odds and ends of his job, grenades, goggles, a med pack or two, comlink and a well used set of stun cuffs.

Moving closer to the window opposite of the only door to his apartment he grabbed his ragged poncho and rifle. He could have sworn again for what he was about to do, there was no question he was going to lose his security deposit for this.

As the pounding at the door continued he smashed the window with the butt of his rifle, armed a concussion grenade and tossed it toward the door, then jumped out of the window. Having always been paranoid of Corruscant security, he always made sure that he had a quick exit, thus the reason he lived on the lowest floor of his building.

Hitting the street running Jonas didn't stop to look back as he heard the grenade detonate, he just hoped that the mess it caused would give him time to get to safety. Now that he had a moment to think, he wondered who it was that had been knocking. He initially assumed security, having a dead Twi'lek on the floor and the fog left on his brain from the Dodbri whiskey he didn't take even a moment to consider his situation, that could have just as likely been a messenger sent by his handler.

"Shab!" He cursed again. As he continued to run up the street he realized he didn't know what to do and people were starting to take notice thanks to the explosion. He had the worst luck! His best option was to try and swipe a airspeeder and see if he could make it to his handler, he detested the Hutt but he would know what to do.

The Bothan felt the presence near the harbor and his feets seemed to be guided by the force as he stepped towards the mysterious presence. The crowd was made mostly of bothans and droids, so if this man was not a bothan he could not be that hard to miss. Yet it needed quite a few minutes until he finally spotted him. The hood deep in his face, his aura radiating an aggressive will to hide, the man stood next to a house. And then the force revealed something . . . the cloak the old man had warped around hi mfailed for a second and there was creeping cold inside of the man. He was dying.

Lictore eyed Corser and then the new arrival. His eyes became lines in his face and then Olic felt it. A touch in the force. Someone probing his mind. Not unskilled, but not as skillful as a Jedi would have tried. ?I will inform my Master. Meanwhile you take the guests weapon. Nobody enters the room with our master with a lightsaber at his belt, you should know that.? Lictore turned and went in.
The undefinable Jedi returned a few minutes later. ?He is ready to see you now, Master Jedi. But only if you come unarmed.? He nodded and then looked to Corser. ?I hope you now where your place is.? He hissed to her. ?The Jedi are not Durga´s friends.?

The droid turned his head towards Bao Dur and nodded. ?Certainly.? He confirmed his readiness to answer. And turned fully to Bao Dur as if it meant he could hear better. Programmed habits to make him appear more human. Such things were expensive.
"Does your master have any medical conditions that require you to check on him so often??
The droid nodded. ?My Master suffers from the Berellian syndrome, a genetic defect rare but not uncommon among his race. It leads to a life long medication with certain spices. The Master took a portion of these spices every six hour, although he could do without them for a week if he had to.? The droid hesitated for a second. ?After a stroke last year he ordered the droids of the staff to check on him every hour, though.?

"Which of your master's droids is most involved in assisting him in his daily affairs??
?That would be KM-08, the quartermaster droid. I believe he was deactivated and brought to his chambers.?

"Why are these HK Droids here, and have they ever been activated as far as you are aware?

The droid looked at them. ?They have. The Master activated them but was unable to access their programming. That seemed to disturb him, as he was the lead designer of their software and he did not stop talk about the backdoor and that it was missing. He repeated that from time to time for several days. He also seemed to wish to consult with other experts, as he made travel arrangements to the Atorra system soon thereafter. He would have travelled later the day he died. I hope this is of help to you??
The Inspecor ran the Atorra system in his notepad. ?Atorra. Gordian Reach. Doesn´t even look as if there is a lot in that system. Nothing, really. Maybe he wanted to hide??

She looked at the insecure yung Padawan. "When was smart thinking ever out of place for a Jedi, Cilarn." She siad and admitted the boy was right. "they knew we´re coming. they dertainly will be prepared. So the question is what is a smarter, tactical more advanced approach to the situation? I got the feeling you got something in your mind, do you?" Smiling zariz thought the boy would probablya be a good Jedi oncde. He had the sight for the things that tried to be unseen. He looked behind the accepted truth. a weaker willed Jedi would probably have accepted her as lead. Considering her experience not a bad choice. Cilarn was used to do things his way. That might have got him here, but it would also get him to dark places, she knew. Responsibility could be a great burden.

"I am all ears." She smiled and opened the turbolift.

ooc: Sorry for being so late, but I needed some time to find my way back into the character. Another update for Ion Tarsis and the Mysterious Informant, again written by TGI and myself together.

Ion Tarsis
Secret Shipyard, Somewhere in the Outer Rim

"My dear friend," the Shade greted Ion Tarsis. The Admiral stayed cool and nodded only to him. He was actually not even sure if or how he was received on the other side of this triple encrypted holo-channel.

"You were right about the Jedi and even though they escaped we were able to add another layer of ships to our fleet thanks to you. Again I can only be gracious." Ion said and he tried as good as possible to hide the lack of trust he had into this man, creature, thing. "We have located the childe meanwhile and I send my men to aquire it. Soon we will have it and be able to deliver it to you." for whatever you plan to do with the poor thing.

"Be assured I will allow no harm to come to it, Tarsis. You should not assume I am a monster, just because I hide my face. There are many reasons to betray the Republic. For example to save it." The sahde seemed to lean forward. "Any news from Corvis Minor?" Ion shook his head. "I send my best men there, I expect results very soon. any news from Argazdan?"

The sahde leaned back and then spoke. 2I also send my best men there, dear Admiral. But the fleet of Myrial is certainly more than a match for any in the region. Including yours. Certainly it will be too much for the Republic. And it prepares. So only one thing remains to be disucssed."

"Restoration." Ion nodded. The project to bring the over-budgeted RESTORATION project to get the Republic back to it´s feat was the thorn in his side. with the project the fleets would come and the republic would finally be able to concentrate it´s might on him and his group. They would be out of business and most likely dead in month. If he postponed it long enough though, they would never be able to do it against his will and that would mean . . . negotiations.

"Exactly." The shade said. "I have taken steps to keep the project from passing through the Senate too fast, but I might need you to help me with it. Ion, the Republic moving into the Rim is a question of confidence. I need you to shake that confidence. I need you to attack the core."

Ion looked up. there was no mimic to read. but the plan sounded insane. And immeditiately Ion knew that was why it might succeed.

"Any specific idea about that?" He simply asked.

Orz now came closer and Aya sighed. ?Certainly I can speak about it. I can tell you what I know. I . . . wasn´t there. None of us was. Nobody who was on Eresus at that time is alive anymore.? She sat in the sand and it looked bizarre at first. Only as Orz did it with an absolute natural movement exactly like her it became apparent it was an Ereesi habit.

?We were on our way to one of our colonies in the Kol Horos system. Our people used mines there to harvest resources for our fleet. A terrible flu had broken out and we brought medical supplies there and some miners and families to replace those in quarantine.? Aya fought a moment with her voice, then she continued with trembling words. ?When we arrived the Myrialites had taken the system. Our colonies burned. Everybody was dead. We tried to contact Ereesus, but . . . they were already there, too. An Armada of ships bathed out homeplanet in fire. A warship trying to defend it transmitted the pictures. They used chemical weapons that ingited parts of the atmosphere and who escaped the fire was then hunted to death by the Viatan. The Argazdan´s elite warriors. You met them in the corridors of our ship. We ran. We were the only ones who were left. And we all knew that for all the things our people had done to them, they were now coming back at us. We deserved it, probably. But our children? Our youngest?? She fought tears. Orz even sighed next to her. He added a few comments to the story. ?We found out later they had secretly build a fleet of warships and with those the Republic had given them, they had easily overrun our aged fleet. The battle lasted less than an hour. They used Siege-platforms then. I think they are forbidden in the Republic, but they have two. Large mobile stations raining proton torpedoes into a planets atmosphere for hours and days. Sending waves of explosions over the surface. They destroyed our shields on the ground with this rain and then bombarded our big cities, before using the chemical weapon to ignite the atmosphere.? Orz nodded. ?And that is how our people ceased to exist. Until only us was left. We had three ships. One of them never made it out of system. The other one you have found, as you have told us. So we were the last. What remains of our people is now here at the mercy of the King.? Orz looked into the sand. Weakness was a new thing for an Ereesi. So was fear.

?Maybe they were right. Maybe we have indeed angered their goddess and she has come to take us all.? Orz then said. ?You are aware the Myrialites of Argazdan won´t leave us alone here, do you? Not so close to their border!?

Lorkan lead the way, his gun always tight to his chest. But the simple plan was not as easy. The first swoop shop they found had a holographic display. Closed. They were all closed and guarded. Before they could make up a plan how to get around it, they already heard the people on the streets swearing about the sealing of the gates. Others thought the closing of the starport was a much greater insult and problem. And the citizens of Corvis Minor were surely not used to soldiers in the streets. But they all seemed to stay peaceful. Lorkan sighed and looked to his new partner. ?they lock down the place. If we get out, we will probably never make it back in again.? He sighed.

The tragedy of Cara Doret of Chandrila, the youngest Senator to ever be appointed to the Senate was naturally headlines. Details flashed over the screens of rumors of her unstable lifestyle. And how she might have been blackmailed by an alcoholic bounty hunter. And then the woman appeared. His new contractor. She spoke of the tragedy of the death and promised the public she would bring the man to justice who had done this. And then came his pictures again. Everywhere. In a few hours and all the Republic would be after him. At least every Bounty Hunter would be after the juicy 10.000 credits on his head.

?Good. I really have killed enough for today. Go to the window and open it. Slowly.? The woman ordered and from afar a speeder became visible, slowly nearing the tower. ?Don´t hope for the security on the top of the tower. They won´t see it coming. Or anything, actually.?
The woman´s voice kept on sounding like ice melted into words.

Task Ry'los; Bothawui, Lev'starn

Dying? And so strong in the force, yet trying to hide it. Surely, he had already felt Task's presence, something Task should have thought of before he began his search. There wasn't much he could do now, and he had to approach this man. He would certainly a danger to those around him if he was a danger to Task, so it was his irresponsibility to approach him. If he wasn't a threat, all the better.

Task walked over, very formally, and stood beside him, hands together behind his back. "Interesting news, hmm? The gathering of Jedi once again. A reformation of the council, it seems."

Although the man undoubtedly felt the Force in Task, he may still think Task didn't know who he was. The man would not expect Task to be ready to defend himself if need be.

Cilarn; The Justice; Above Telos

Cilarn smiled. Not because anything was there to smile, but because Zariz reminded him of his master for a moment. Or was she his Master now?

"I go in and have a drink. Nobody knows I am here. Even if they did watch the Jedi centre - and I felt no watching presence - with a mask they will never recognize me. And just have a drink and wait for your arrival, looking for security measures and traps and then I make sure they don´t get you when the less . . . civilized part of the negotiations goes down. What do you think? I mean . . . you would have to trust me, but I am able to handle a few mercs or droids. I killed those Sith. And even if I don´t feel like killing is a good idea, the men of this Polo would be up for a nasty little surprise, if I made it into their lines before you kick in the door."

Jedi Temple, Shuttle Platform

She waited for the new arrival on the platform. She felt still unfomfortable with being the receptionist of the Jedi. It also took too much time away from her historical studies. yet, she felt it might have been intention of bastila Shan to give her a job where she had to interact. Where hse had to deal with people. being raised in an outpost in the polar region to be a silent protector did not especially made you a people person.

When he arrived, in a fresh robe and less obvious suffering from the night before she gave him a smile and still did not manage to make it a warm one. Maybe because there was no warmth in her, she thought. Maybe the others were right after all. She was no Jedi.

"Let´s move. There are so few Jedi here right now, I don´t want to stay away any longer than necessary. Actually you missed Master Bastila by a few minutes. She just left when you arrived here." entering the speeder she gave him a gesture to sit next to her. 2you are no Jedi Knight, yet. are you? not that it makes a lot of a difference these days. What happened to your Master?"

Hannah Coreman
Coruscant, Coreman Apartment, District 09567

?Good. I really have killed enough for today.?

Hannah knew she was giving in. Her father had always taught her to never give in to anyone. And yet, here she was. But her father was only a few feet away, and he had no idea his daughter was being snatched from his fingers. When Hannah saw his face in her mind, her eyes began to tear up even more. She had no idea when she might see her father again, if ever. And once these captors had kidnapped her, she could very well be sold into slavery, or tortured to death.

?Go to the window and open it. Slowly.?

The woman hissed. Hannah approached the window cautiously. Only moments ago she had fretted over her hair. If only she was one of those Jedi. Hannah gazed out of the mirror and watched as a speeder slowly made its way to the tower. Hannah?s eyes flickered upwards.

?Don?t hope for the security on the top of the tower. They won?t see it coming. Or anything, actually.?

Hannah opened the window and put one foot on the ledge. A chilly blast of air hit Hannah. Goosebumps ran up and down her legs. Hannah wondered what would happen if she just leaped out of this window. The woman would probably shoot her in the back before she reached the ground. That would be much better than what they most likely had planned for her.

?Do you want me to jump??

Calm. She had to keep her voice calm and cool.

Roof, Temple of Via, Argazdan

As Ashlae was looking up she noticed a shuttle coming closer and closer. Just then a chill went down her spine as her senses were alerted. Within the force she felt him, a Jedi that was aboard the shuttle. She knew that he was not here to help the Argazdan people.

Squeezing Iliacs hand Ashlae moved in closer to him and whispered in his ear. ?That shuttle has a Jedi aboard,he is a threat I sense it.? She said with concern. She knew Iliac was not gonna like the news. She wondered if there was going to be aggressive negotiations with the Jedi. This was not what she wished for, but if it was meant to be force willing, she will be prepared.

Revelin encountered no one on the way, and Master Kae was waiting for him when he got there. She still seemed uncomfortable in her own skin. Then again, maybe it?s just me. "Let´s move. There are so few Jedi here right now, I don´t want to stay away any longer than necessary. Actually you missed Master Bastila by a few minutes. She just left when you arrived here." An airspeeder arrived for them and they got in.

?You are no Jedi Knight, yet. Are you? Not that it makes a lot of a difference these days. What happened to your Master?" she asked him. He stiffened slightly, despite trying to control the impulse. Fear. No. That thing isn?t here. It?s gone. You escaped? somehow. But Ehyna is gone. And it?s your fault. ?She was... killed? by a Sith Lord.?

IC: Shirzan Narr
Corvis Minor; The Camp; Near the Capital

?Certainly I can speak about it. I can tell you what I know. I . . . wasn?t there. None of us was. Nobody who was on Eresus at that time is alive anymore.?

The two ereesi sat down amongst the sand, they both looked as if they had the weight of multiple worlds on their shoulders. Shirzan crouched down, sitting on her haunches as she listened intently to the Ereesi woman. She learned that Aya had been on an assignment to one of their colonies when the Argazdan had struck their home planet and associated settlements. And they had struck with terrifying force, Bombarding the surface of planets, wiping out colonies and even attacking the planets very atmosphere using chemical agents. Destroying their home world with flame. She noticed that Aya voice started to break with emotion, understandably this was difficult for her to talk about. Shirzan stayed quiet, allowing the woman as much time as she needed before she continued her story. To have gone through so much, I would have driven weaker minds insane. Those who had managed to escape their besieged homes were pursued by the cloaked Argazdan soldiers that Shirzan and her squad had fought on the damaged freighter that now lay abandoned outside of corvis minor. It soon became too much for Aya and Orz continued on her behalf.

?We found out later they had secretly build a fleet of warships and with those the Republic had given them, they had easily overrun our aged fleet. The battle lasted less than an hour. They used Siege-platforms then. I think they are forbidden in the Republic, but they have two. Large mobile stations raining proton torpedoes into a planets atmosphere for hours and days??

Shirzan?s violet eyes flashed at the mention of siege platforms. Orz was correct in his assessment that they were extremely forbidden by galactic law. Just a single one of those platforms could decimate a planet or reduce a fleet to scrap in mere hours. The fact that Orz had referred to two caused a cold feeling to shoot down the length of her spine. She also felt a pang of guilt in the pit of her stomach when she heard that a large chunk of the Argazdan fleet was comprised from ships that the republic had gave to the Argazdan prior to their Secession. If this fleet was as big as they said, to say the republic would be in big trouble was frankly an understatement. If they used this level of firepower against one species, what could happen if they decided to get bolder and attack the core?

??So we were the last. What remains of our people is now here at the mercy of the King??Maybe they were right. Maybe we have indeed angered their goddess and she has come to take us all.? Orz then said. ?You are aware the Myrialites of Argazdan won?t leave us alone here, do you? Not so close to their border!?

Shirzan kept her expression even as Orz vented his frustrations. It was obvious that everything he was feeling, Fear, uncertainty, confusion, loss, were not things he was used too. Shirzan looked the ereesi male in the face.

?I am all too aware of that Orz, that?s why the information you have just given me is invaluable in order to determine our next step. The king of Corvis Minor will not stand for an invasion, and when this evidence is presented to the republic higher ups they will have to listen and take action?

She said with a serious edge to her voice as she stood back up to her full height. She hoped that the evidence provided would help, but the words of an once hated species and a small squad of soldiers might not hold much weight against those like Datu. She just had to believe that there was still such a thing as common sense in this galaxy. She extended her hand out to Aya and helped the Ereesi woman back up to her feet.

"Thank you Aya, I understand that must have been difficult for you. The king should be here soon. Until then you should get some rest?

She said quietly, her expression softening a little. After their discussions with the king,

Zariz
The Justice above Telos

Zariz stopped walking and took a long look at Cilarn. Bravery was not his problem. So much she could tell. And there was a reluctance in the boy. To use violence again. A first step to healing, yet she knew asking him to shed blood again was far from a perfect way to repay the risk he was willing to take.

"we will need an armor for you and a solid hiding place for your lightsaber, I´d say. But it might work. Better than kicking down his door, indeed." She siled. "Cilarn, you will be a great Jedi one day." She nodded. "I am just afraid you will have to be much sooner than we both hoped."

And with that they got to work. The armory of the Justice would surely hold some confiscated items they would make good use of. In secret, of course. nobody could be rusted now. In other words . . . they would be stealing.

GM note: Some players seem to have dropped out, some players have real-life issues and allowed me to take control of their characters. The drop outs are my mistake, because of the summer break I guess. Sirak will soon update, but her holiday swamped her with workload. She asks for a little more patience. Meanwhile I will do a massive updat tomorrow, getting everybody forward in the storyline.

So 24 hour update warning.

Zurin frowned as the city went into lock down. His hand instinctively went to his holstered blaster but his fingers just grazed the butt before coming to his pocket.

Zurin took the information about Ion's informant and stored it away. It would do him no good to think about now.

He shook his head.

"I don't think this is for us. If they knew, why shut down everything for only two people? A few posted guards would work just as well without alerting us that they know where we are." Zurin thought for a moment. "Why not see if we can get back to our shuttle and lift off, fly out over the refugee compound."
