God I'm a dork. I thought that meant "Mod Squad Acess" and I was like "Hey, what's wrong with that??"

 

Am still here after 7 years. Don't know whether to go w00t or quit my day job in celebration.

 

How's this for dorky? I see Mod Squad and think of the old TV show.

Maybe if they paid here, but I doubt it pays a living wage. My JC anniversary is next month. It has been a long time.

 

Yeah, good point. I just really hate my job right now.

my job is spoiling my nieces and nephews who range from 8 1/2 (the oldest) to 13 months old (the youngest). One of the 6 is a big star wars fan (all thanks to an R2D2 plush I gave him for his birthday a few years ago) and his younger brother followed him..... They now, IMHO, have too many star wars toys (not MY doing!). The job doesn't pay anything, though! Where's my compensation? Where?

I'm doing good. Just busy with school and work as usual. What have you been up to?

 

About the same, working and school. And somehow trying to fit time in for writing.

 

Morning. I haven't slept at all and I feel like I have a hangover.

 

Woke up Friday morning to a very flooded apartment. Some brats had kicked the drainpipe out by my window pit, so the building's runoff emptied into my window pit and thus my apartment. I would've heard the deluge, except around 2 a.m. I put earplugs in to block out the upstairs' on-schedule spat, so I didn't hear the waterfall. Of course.

It sucks, but the management was very responsive and moved me into a vacant flat while the carpet blowers do their thing for a few days. I just hope my new couch's wooden frame isn't warped by days of humidity!

So, reverted to the old pick-me-up of dying my hair auburn.

 

Uggg, that sucks!
