The past, the future...

    "Through the force, things you will see, the PAST, the future, old friends long gone."

    Could that be reference to Leia's ability to remember her mother. Luke's knowledge of Dagobah?

    I think its a bit of a reach, but could tie in a plot hole or two.

    Apologies if this has been discussed, but I'm curious to know your thoughts.

    I don't think it's a reach. The Force was strong in the Skywalker family. Luke did know of Dagobah and Leia certainly remembered her mother. Luke would be able to "remember" or "recall" things more as his training progressed.

    Or, Leia remembers her mom the regular way.

    And Luke "feels" familliar but it's just deja vu.
