Hey all. Good news! My laptop is officially fixed!! And so a new post will be coming soon.



And in other news, me and another friend, Angel4evaM, have started up a social forum based mostly around Star Wars, but with other subjects and what not to keep people interested. It's called The Dancing Ewok. You can post fanfiction there, play RPGs, talk about up coming SW and other books, not to mention tv shows, movies, theatre, anything and everything you can think of. And if it's not there, let us know and we'll see if we can add it. I'm even going to create a database of SW facts and information (kinda like the SW wiki).

It's Here!!!!!





The oceans of Mon Calamari were a beautiful sight at night. With the moon causing the waves to sparkle as they rippled and danced along the currents, it was something every person with a view of it never took for granted. Pace was no different. In his eyes, the only thing that would make standing by his window watching the grand ocean better, would be to have his soon to be wife in his arms.

His blue eyes drifted towards the stars. Allie was out there somewhere, hopefully on her way back to him. It hadn't been a week yet, but he couldn't help but worry about her. Ever since they had started dating, when she went on a mission he'd wait somewhat patiently trying not to comm her every fifteen minutes. He wasn't a jedi nor was he in the military. Pace was just an average citizen with nothing but time on his hands, time which he occupied with thoughts of Allie and her whereabouts.

Well, it wasn't really true that he was an average citizen. He was the son of Sid Kaser, inventor of the Long distance comlink. The device was revolutionizing communication all over the galaxy. Rather than being confined to the use of a comm station, an owner of an LD comlink could contact someone two systems away from almost anywhere. According to Pace's father, in five years comm stations would be a thing of the past. Pace didn't quite think LD's would be that big of a hit, after all there would always be those who preferred the old way to everything, but he kept that to himself.

In any case, the young man would be inheriting his father's business when he passed on. Sid made sure to remind him that he would have to wait until he died because he'd never retire. And as for his own talents, Pace had a way with electronics that was uncommon in most beings. He also had a degree in business, but it wasn't something he bragged about. He had only gotten it so he'd know what the kriff he was doing when he took over the company. Working with electronics was his true passion though. If a mechanic's knowledge was in the body of a machine, his was in it's brain. He had even helped come up with some of the wirings for the LD comlink.

Being the humble fellow he was, you'd never know it. Most people didn't even recognize him for who he was. His father was brash, prideful, loud, and every Pace wasn't. If it were up to him, he'd stay behind the scenes working on the company's products rather than becoming the CEO. But his father would never let him do that. No, according to him, Pace was "poster boy material". That was probably the closest thing to a compliment he'd ever gotten from his father.

From out in the living room, the comm station sounded. As he always did ever since the first time he had waited for Allie's return, Pace walked past his bed and out into the living room towards the station with his mind already coming up with a witty comment for his wife-to-be. When he pressed the flashing button to receive the call though, it was Allie's twin Adam that materialized on the screen.

"Hey Pace."

A look of confusion was still on his face. "Um, hey."

"I hope it's not too late over there. I'm terrible at remembering time differences."

Pace looked at the chrono. It was rather late, but he had be expecting Allie.

"Uh, no you're fine."

"So how are you?"

Pace smirked a little. "Oh, just missing your sister and thinking about all the things I want to do to her."

Adam's face twisted into an expression somewhere between shock and disgust. "I didn't need to know that."

Pace chuckled. "Where is Allie?"

Nervousness now overtook Adam's features and looked off screen.

Pace frowned. "What? What is it?"

"Ah, well..."

Oh no. Dread filled Pace's insides. "She's... she's not... I mean, she?s still..."

He couldn't even say it.

Adam looked up, quickly shaking his head, "Oh no, it's nothing like that. She's alive."

Relief washed over him. He was still worried, but not nearly as much as he had been.

"But..."

Pace leaned forward in his chair. "Yes?"

Adam sat with his head in his hands, still in front of the comm station. Even with all the rehearsing before hand, telling Pace was harder than he'd thought. Though he knew he shouldn't, he blamed himself for not stopping Allie's disappearance. With a deep sigh, he lifted his head and collected himself.

"Come on Fel, you're not done yet." He said while dialing his mom's frequency. He didn't have to wait long. "Hey. How'd the meeting go?"

"Luke thinks it's the Dark Circle."

Adam frowned. "They wouldn't go for someone like her. She's way too experienced."

Jaina nodded her agreement. "I know. We discussed that. Mara figured it was trap, but is sure for what. I guess we're going to spring it, though, 'cause Luke's forming a search group. Once we get the location of their base, we're heading out."

Adam's demeanor changed, and Jaina was reminded of his father's business face. "I'm going with you."

She smiled. "I knew you'd say that. You're already on the roster."

Adam smiled back, but it faded slightly. "I talked to Pace."

"How'd it go?"

"Well, he took it kind of hard at first, but I think he'll be okay. He's a strong guy."

Jaina laughed a little. "Yeah, he is, despite what your father thinks."

Adam laughed too. "I gotta go. Take care mom."

"I will. Tell that flyboy I said I love him."

"Making me your little messenger boy again?" he said with a smirk.

Jaina smirked right back. "I would, but you're not quite little anymore."

Adam chuckled. "Love you mom."

"I love you too, Adam."

He shut down the comm and went over to the next room. Jag was sitting at a table, most likely going over the most recent files on the Isolationists. So engrossed was he, that he didn't even spare a glance over his shoulder when he spoke.

"Have you talked to your mother yet?"

Adam held back his laugh. "She says I love you, flyboy."

The use of Jaina's nickname for him finally grabbed his full attention. He smiled one of the smiles rarely seen by the public. "Playing messenger again?"

"When am I not? You guys really should think of a new way to pass love notes. Using me lost it's romance when I turned eight."

The smug look that Jag claimed was non-existent in him took over his features. "Oh we stopped doing for romantic reasons a long time ago. Now it's just see who can embarrass you first."

Adam rolled his eyes. A chime rang through the room indicating someone at the door. Jag stood up walked over, palming the door panel. A tall Chiss officer stood in the doorway with his hand already lifted in a salute. Jag put him at ease.

"We land within the hour, General."

He nodded. "Thank you."

"Will you be needing an escort party?"

"No. That won't be necessary."

"Noted." He bowed then turned on his heel and left. Closing the door he went back to son, who had started reading one of the files. He was shaking his head.

"I still can't believe some of the stuff the Isolationists have done. To think that someone as disciplined as a Chiss could go against so many of their morals just because of a few disagreements. I never thought I'd see the day."

Jag sat down next to him. I know." He picked up one of the datapads, then tossed it back into the pile on the table. "We have one more hour."

"That's good."

"So what else did your mom have to say?"

We'll be getting into some more action soon. And the posts will be coming more regularly seeing as how I've finished my Viggie and have freed up a lot of time at school this semester.
