## The PFFC Banner Thread ##

Hmmmm... Have to consider that... I'm not convinced, although at the mo it's starting to look alot like the London banner, and we want some variation... a little consistency would be good to show that we're all from the same board.

But yeah, at night... we might have to supply a picture of the Hoe in the daytime, and Slavegirl will have to tinker with the lightness and darkness.

 

what you up to friday night? we could go out on the piss and at some point meander past the landmarks in town and take pics

 

We could, but I'm worried about the quality of the pics... there's probably some good piccys on Google and thisisplymouth.co.uk

so shall we actually go out on Friday, i don't think we've been umm 'out on the town' together since your birthday, damn that seems ages ago. for the first time in about a month i don't have any work that i can't put off o i can get a severe hangover!

 

If you need help deciding on a theme for the banner, here's a list of SW locations I could think of:

i think dagobah or Hoth would be the best, one a frizen wasteland with absolutely nothing of interest and the other just a bit ****hole with very little technological advancement, both remind me of Plymouth

of course is we choose Dagobah we have to have Yoda!

 

Well, Hoth may be more interesting - I can stick in Imerials, Rebels, the main OT characters, and most importantly, Tauntauns! With Dagobah, you're limited to Yoda, Luke and R2. But it's up to you!

 

Hoth sounds good bu that means no Yoda

that idea sounds cool, i think Sebulba_Sloan wanted to have some Plymouth landmarks as well (he was meant to be finding some photos which i'm sure he'll send on to you). We have to have a Wampa as well, and Vader he looks so good against the white snow

 

If we had Bespin then I could say...

Geonosis-favourite planet -that way we can have the arena creatures and Yoda

 

Aparantly Hoth would go well with Smeatons Tower...also I think it would provide a great contrast with Vader and any battles in the background.

Although the colours will end up making this place feel really cold... that's why I originally wanted a night scene.

 

Alright, here's what I've done so far:

Plymouth banner

Let me know what you want changing (if you're not fond of the colour scheme, I'm sure someone who's not so colourblind can tweak it ), and if I have time I can make you a Geonosis-themed banner, as that might make the board feel warmer.

 

NEW BANNER IS BEING PROCESSED

The new PFFC banner will be uploaded to the board hopefully sometime today

It's basically what we all discussed, although I had to make a few executive decisions because none of you gave enough input- however, you're going to love it! Very OT

We can always discuss minor adjustments in this thread later.

very nice, i'm noit sure about the font Plymouth is written in though, other than that it's perfect, all from the best film of the best series of films ahhhh

Fantastique -I was a bit hesitant when I heard it was going to be Hoth-well with all the whiteness but now I see it it looks great!
