He was so dominant at his peak, I don't know if he'll ever "be back". But he's number 1 again, until Rory gets going. That's something.

Crazy to think that it's been almost 5 years since he won a major. And I'd like to see that number increase.

    A 14-year old shot 73 today.

    That is just absurd.

Looks like the 14 year old is going to make the cut even though he got a 1 stroke penalty for slow play. Crazy.

Tiger hit the flagstick on his approach to the 15th, and instead of dropping in, it rolled off the green into the drink. I guess that's payback for the Nike-commercial 16th hole chip in back in 2005.

It's just crazy. Seems like the slow penalty is a bit harsh, too.

Adam Scott. Sweet redemption for last year's British Open.

glad to see Scott win it.

that's who i wanted to see win it if Tiger didn't.

So, Tiger wins, Sergio complains and then loses it the last two holes after being tied with Tiger.

A microcosm of a largely disappointing career, outside of the Ryder Cup and a few wins here and there.

The LaTroy Hawkins of golf..talented, can't close.

Anybody wanna take bets on a Monday US Open final? It's raining again in NY.

Long overdue, just as Adam Scott was. Good to see some of this young talent getting rewarded.

Yep. I do like Mickelson but definitely nice to see an Englishman win the US Open after 40 odd years.

Tiger's out of the Masters, back surgery.

Edit- If this turns out to be April Fools, then blame ESPN for running it.

Doubtful, Tiger tweeted it out himself that he was missing it.

Rory has been dreadful today. The whole tournament, really.

I hope Freddie Couples has a good weekend - the man is ageless, sitting in the top 10 at Augusta, again, at 54. He won the Masters when I was 7.
