Can non-costume members help in any way?
I know I'll never say no to having your photography skills at any event, Stephen. It's great PR stuff for the group's website and Facebook pages. You'd be surprised how many of our older events have little to no photo coverage.
As for other ways to participate, Larry would be the one to know better. I imagine there will be SOMETHING to do at the table but since we're not collecting for charity Larry would have a better idea of what to do there.
So Saturday I have a work call at NRTG until about 2, I can come out after that which would be around 3, if you need me then, I could also come for the evening "shift" until about 9.
Sunday, I can do pretty much the whole day, what time would we all be getting there for the matinees?
I'm going to be out for early Saturday. Though I should be there by 2pm or a little afterward.
Friday: ~6:30pm until End of Day
Saturday: ~2:00pm until End of Day
Sunday: All Day
Fandango has posted showtimes, finally.
Go an look them up.
On Friday, we should plan to be in costume by 3:30 for the 2nd round beginning at 4:10.
Saturday 1st show is at 12:40, be ready to go by noon-12:15 latest.
Sunday, 1st show is 12:20, so be ready by 11:30 AM.
We're bringing along training sabers and certificates, to do abbreviated youngling training, very shortened versions since we'll have villains on hand.
Per Lisa: V will be there as Ahsoka on Saturday.
I would definitely suggest coming and taking pictures if you can. It never hurts to have a dedicated photographer as opposed to someone in costume. I can bring my extra support shirt if you want.
To clarify: if we are coming later in the day (Sunday), and can't get ready with the group (at time posted above), what would be the plan?
I'll be there tomorrow night as a jedi (can't make it on Saturday or Sunday).
I'll come in costume but will store my jacket and saber case there.
I'll be able to leave here at around 5:30 which means I'll be there a bit before 6.
I'll try to stay until the beginning of the 10:20 show.
Arrive when you can and we'll direct you to the changing room.
This applies to everyone, since not everyone can or wants to be there the entire day.
I'll be coming in from work, around 5:45 PM Friday, and Mid afternoon Saturday.
I'll be there by 2:30pm on friday to help set everything up. And then get ready
Saturday I'll be there around 1pm,if that's okay??
Sunday, whenever you need me,I'm open that day
That would be great if I can use the shirt. I know you can always use photos but I was worried about how the theater would feel about me walking in with a larger size camera.
Photos in the lobby and outside the theatre will be OK.
No cameras in the theatre.
Larry, it hasn't been said enough. Thank you for fielding the organization of this event for us.
What Bryan said!
You can expect me Sunday afternoon for as long as I can stand up.
Here here! Thanks once again to Larry (and Janice) for organizing another cool event!
[link=http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/02/10/darth-maul-clone-wars-teaser/]According to Entertainment Weekly, [/link] there will be a special 'Clone Wars' teaser playing before TPM.
I will be visiting on sat and / or sun. I can?t make it on Friday.
If possible can someone see if they can save a pair of the
limited Darth Maul 3D glasses that giving out?
Me and the Jedi kids will be there around 6pm. Peter, William, and Katherine will be in Jedi outfits; me as movie-goer/spectator/guy manning the table dude.
I don't know if they're getting any more this weekend, but the theatre was out of them early tonight. They went VERY quickly. I don't know if anyone in the group actually got a pair.
bummer, I hope they get more because it would be nice to get a pair.
Sorry I did not make it sat or Sun. Fell ill when i left the theater on fri night, thought I could go Sun but couldn't. Hope everything went all right the rest of the time.
great event guys
Well done, everyone.
Again, many thanks to Larry and Janice for championing this event!
