FF:NZ The Phantom Menace on DVD

You'd be surprised at how many places have student and senior citizen discounts, but you have to ask because they don't advertise them - it's a rather sneaky way of getting more money out of the public.

If you're a student or teacher, NEVER EVER buy computer software or hardware (not usually games) without asking if there's an educational discount. Even if they say there isn't one, check with somewhere like Campus Computers at the University.

Also, if you've finished a degree/etc at university or tech, you may still be able to get educational discounts by joining the ex-students "club" (usually a yearly fee is involved) - check with the Student's Association or main office.

You can save mucho money on many things - BUT you'll need a valid Student ID or signed school order form (on letterhead).

 

well whitcoulls didn't use to give it, i remember asking back in 97/98 they siad since they were a big national chaing they didn't have to, now they do, go figure

weird thing about student discount is BK
for about 3 months if you went to the Andy Bay outlet they would upsize your meal for free if you had ID, but the meridean wouldn't, apparently they wanted to attract students out there, but now they on't anymore

 

went to witcoulls today, I think I want the display stand more than the DVD itself.

 

you must have it, if they don't want to give it to you, either a) break down in tears, or b)get your girlfriend to do that........depends who has the most pride i guess

 

maybe they'll give it to me if I giggle like a girl.

if that doesn't work here is another plan.........strip naked, then get into an argument with the staff about why they won't accept MTA vouchers, while you are distracting them with your odd arguments and naked body your accomplice can whisk the stand to safety, leaving you to convince the staff of your non complicity

I didnt win the competition in the Chch Mail, so I finally got mine yesterday at the whitcoulls DVD sale (no need to mention that I stayed clear of whitcoulls South City)

Love the deleted scene with greedo, and the podrace grid sequence.
