The thread for all manner of politicians and public servants being morally corruptible and taking tax payers money. Post on your favorite or the most recent in your neck of the woods. Personally in the town my parents live in its absolutely horrible. But enough of them. First up, the highest paid Superintendent in the country goes to, No not Los Angeles or NYC, not even Atlanta or Miami or even Houston. No its Centinela Valley school District. With only three schools and two alternate programs the Superintendent gets a whopping 675,000 a year. Even LA or NYC can't even compare at a paltry 450k for supervising over 750 or more schools in their districts. http://www.latimes.com/local/la-me-centinela-supt-20140401,0,7384769.story?page=1&plj=#axzz2xfuMsrGj What does it get you, well numerous perks like 7000 dollars a year for his car. a 9 percent annual pay increase. a 4000 dollar cost of living increase. Oh don't worry their is room in the budget for it. Why cause he is laying off teachers.
If state, county, or municipal jurisdictions are financially supported and sound in the event of Zombie attack- I'd consider that tax money well spent.
Wow, this story goes really deep. The district gave a 2 percent loan to the principal on 910,000 house. This is after his second bankruptcy.
i don't know if you really don't realize that you're constantly creating threads that you've made two or three times before but if that's true then you might want to get a cat scan or something.
To be fair to Beez, his last incident was tactical. He kept making that thread in the Senate, and it would be locked within a few hours for failing to meet the serious discussion standards. He would retry any time they changed mods, and I guess he saw his chance after the merger. It's like those velociraptors from Jurassic Park.
So there was this one corrupt school board member in my city. She seemed nice and all from the get go, always had a reasonable excuse for doing things which would have otherwise raised eyebrows. Nobody suspected a thing until she up and vanished along with $14,000 of the school district's money. The district thought they had someone good in her only to realize much too late that they were had by this scheming trickster who (rightly so) took them for fools.
