I really dislike the coloring. Airy gradients tend to clash with such thick black lines, unfortunately, that smooth, plasticine style has started to dominate. I see it everywhere.

Well, I'm excited to hear what Francis will have to say. I obviously don't agree with him with regard to same-sex marriage and abortion, but I am enthusiastic about his economic and environmental views, and I like his overall style. I'm not Catholic, but I attended Catholic school during elementary and middle school, and it was nice how the teachers and the priests were not shoving all this anti-abortion stuff down people's throats there...at least until I got one teacher who did that a little during eighth grade. Oddly enough, this Catholic school was more open-minded than the exceptionally intelligent/special education high school I attended and even the Methodist church in which I grew up. It was weird. Francis reminds me of that spirit, since he has a strong desire to help the poor, destitute, and others.
