    Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

    Can't believe it's been a month since my last post... :(



    Dinner that evening in the palace was one that Leia enjoyed. After recounting the details over and over of the standoff in the hangar, Paolo finally turned to Nathane and asked, "What were you doing in our ship anyway? What was so important in there that you had to sneak out?"

    Nathane looked over to Leia and smiled, "There was one of your portraits that Leia fell in love with. I didn't know who the portrait was of, so I went through your data files to find your notes. I just wanted to make her happy."

    "Which portrait?"

    "The girl with the blue dress?I knew it was one of your first portraits, and that it was painted on Naboo."

    Paolo nodded wistfully. "Of course I know that one." He sighed and pushed his plate away from him, taking his time to continue on. "She was my first love?even though we were just teenagers at the time."

    "But what was her name? What happened to her?" asked Leia.

    Paolo turned towards Leia and smiled.. "Her name was Padme Nabierre?"

    Bail caught a sip of wine in his throat and began to choke. Clearing his throat, he turned to Paolo. "Excuse me, did you say Padme?Padme Nabierre?

    "Yes. She eventually was elected Queen?if you can believe that."

    Bail was silent, then quietly turned to Leia & Nathane.

    "Leia?Nathane. Can you excuse us a moment?"

    Puzzled, Leia watched her father and Paolo retreat towards the library.

    "That was weird," commented Nathane.
