Is there anybody out there?
Just post if you can hear me!!!
Is there anyone home?
Hey I'm here but nobody else is. Us praire folk are out farming and combining so that we get our food on the table, hehehe. But youd think that there would be at least one or two more people roamin these boards.
Hey man I am here. I dont know where anyone else is.
Like I said, farming and brining home the bacon. And probably doin their University homework cuz it comes out the ying yang.
I'm from Sask. too
I'm from Regina, but now I live in Japan.
really Whimper when did you move? what you up to in Japan?
Moved last July to accept a teaching job in a small town. It's great, but I miss Regina a lot.
Where is this small town located in Japan? Is it by any known city or anything?
Depends what you call a 'known city'. I'm about 30 kilometres away from Kumamoto City...
hey... anybody there? I'm from Calgary.... how's saskatchewan?
It's really cold right now.
that overly sux.... I hate cold weather...
its snowing right now! *grins like an idiot* ooo I love snow!
I'm really having trouble adjusting to the weather here in Japan. I mean, it's almost November, and it's still getting up to 25 degrees in the daytime!
dude! thats like hot! right now its around zero degrees celcius or a bit colder... Calgary has some pretty weird weather... I wish it was warm!
From time to time during the past week its been b/w minus 10 and plus 2. I dont understand it and i frankly hate it! Boo winter!!!
I only like winter for snow.... I love snow... I hate cold
Yes snow is fun to be around and play in, especially when it's with that special someone, hehehe.
That's the worst part about being where I am in Japan- it' s not far south enough to get snow. It's just far enough to get a wet, cold, ugly winter.
God I wish someone would bring the miracles of insulation and central heating to this country.
lol poor you... that overly bites that you get no snow....
yea my friend went to japan last year with her hockey team.... and she said that it gets very cold... but she also said they had heated toliet seats
Heated, computerized, music-playing, water-squirting toilets, that is. The johns of the future!
LOL! that's so kooL! but thats a bit over-doing it...
sooo.... anyone looking forward to Halloween? (I love halloween even though I'm too old to go trick-or-treating)
Halloween is my favourite holiday, but it's not really observed at all in Japan. I've been trying to set up some Halloween parties for my students, but there just doesn't seem to be much interest. And on top of that, costume stuff is nearly impossible to find here.
aww.... that really bites....
I don't know what to be for Halloween... and I think I'm going to a costume party at my church tonight but o well... I'll figure something out
Yeah I cant really figure what to be either for halloween. Its tough especially when youre out of HS and into university.
