Note This is a sequel to The Four Sisters. The idea came to me while I was preparing the 6 poems to post. And you can Blame it on a friend on another SW posting board that I ended up writing them.

I'll try to post at least every second day. But I'm rather busy right now. And might forget my posting schedule.

SummaryI was going to post some comments here, about my thoughts on the poems... but I felt they would spoil too much of the ending. So I'll just say: Enjoy... and if you don't like them... please don't kill me

The Prophecy

Whispers in the Void

A room in darkness
as one tale ends
and another begins
over again.

A forgotten one
upon the brink of void
whispers words
of doom to come.

Tortured by dreams
she foresees
the blood and darkness
to fall again

With her dying breath
she attempts to warn
but none left to hear
of the visions which plague her

Five figures she sees
four falter and fall
faces of daughters
close to her

the fifth she wishes gone
it haunts her
until the Force claims her
and then cares no more.

A story beings anew
four lives with four paths,
and a prophecy
which links them all.

It is the blood
of past lives
which guides their steps
but they know this not

Stars live and die
they revolve and shine
as darkness falls,
eternally...

A friend nagged me long enough to write it that I finally did

I have to admit that particular stanza is one of my favorit. I think it's one of my better ones.

 

Times of Blood

When stars weep blood
war descends
upon those unsuspecting
ravaging lives.

Amidst the chaos and ruin
one woman arises
her mother once "Quiet One"
she is wild as the stars.

From places unknown
the dark power descends
By the people she was chosen
to lead the way to light.

Death and Destruction
she unable to prevent
as the darkness slowly
seeped into every star.

Many tears of blood
fell from unseeing eyes
blinding all
to the true darkness

One figure stepped forward
cloaked by a mantle of the Dark
Challenged the wild heir
and a duel fought.

Strange fogs of time lifted
but neither to be found
the dark and the light
gone into the void

In a darkened room
one lies oblivious
tiered of the fight,
burnt out by time.

On a tall spire
stands the other one
cloak billowing
as stars die of pain.

Sorry for not posting anything before. Been a tad busy with my studies... (which I wish I were not so I could have more time writing )


Revelations

Through struggles and strife,
a war rages on.
The side of the light,
left headless so soon.

One a vision beholds,
sent through time and force
her mother once "fallen one"
she quietly listens.

Flashes she sees
death and darkness to come.
It is revealed to her
what Forgotten one foresaw.

Speaking up she tries
to warn the other heirs,
but who would listen to one
quiet and gentle as the wind.

Unhearing the light goes on,
as upon a black spire,
darkness does laugh,
the only one to listen.

Suddenly hunted
the quiet heir must run,
the light and the dark
caring not for her words.

The light ones' folly
in ignoring the truth
is the Black One's delight,
as he slowly returns.

And through dark times
this heir goes
as she tries to save
what wants no help.

Two heirs now gone
as a third one rages on,
the last one but weeps
and another star dies now

The Huntress

Darkness has fallen
none left to oppose
no light left shinning
as all places crumble.

A leader this darkness has
and all follow the daughter
of one once forgotten
but no light shines about her.

The huntress they call her
no mercy no pity
she hunts all who know
of a prophecy once spoken.

Her master commands
and she must follow
bowing before
the only one greater.

She knows not what folly
her burning rages does
as through arts arcane
she allows Black One to rise.

But through his machinations
they conquer what once belonged
to him and him alone,
now his once again.

Quietly she weeps.
How far she has fallen.
Her soul not her own
as she hunts the last daughter.

Hidden and secure
she lies forgotten
knowing that her cousin
hunts her forever

And still one star burns
quietly and alone
but surrounded it is
by an inky sea of darkness.

Hey this is great! It's getting better and better.

Last Star

One last star burns with light
one last hope to save them all.
One last being to help the light
but with no might.

Forgotten and alone
daughter of one once wild,
she awaits the huntress
her cousin and once friend.

With heavy heart she watches
as the Black one rages
destroying all
which had once been created.

Knowing her time for hiding
has long past,
she strides forth
no longer forgotten.

On a field of ice
she meets the fallen
the stand in silence
no words left to speak.

Blades clash
red against silver
and when the light fades
only one is left standing.

Bitter tears on her face
The fallen one realizes
the mistakes of her life
it's too late to change now.

The Black one rules now
and a crimson stain on white
marks the last who could have
offered him resistance.

The Darkness finally
vanquished all light.
Who is left standing
to meet Black One's might?

wow, this is really great Calandria such an original idea, these are so much fun to read. You use great imagery in your poetry, and it makes it easy to picture. Are these heirs the daughters of palpatine? Look forward to more, please post soon

Yodakenobi Actually... these Heirs are the daughters of the daughters of Palpatine (his granddaughters)

Ideas like that is what i come up with when bored in my classes...


okay last one. I have ideas for yet 6 more poems, but I haven't got the time to write them up just now. So until further notice... this is the last one.

A New Hope

A galaxy crumbled
under a reign of terror.
No savior to be found,
no hope for the people.

Only a prophecy of old
speaks of one to rise
conquering all darkness
and bring balance to the force.

At odden times
the fallen heir muses
if such a hero is to be found.
She tiers of the eternal darkness.

A child they say,
born of no mortal father
will come one day
and slay the Black One.

It happened before
Killed he was before
he who now reigns
with an iron fist of darkness.

The huntress once again
rises up for the hunt.
She scours the galaxy
far and wide.

In the darkest corner
she seeks this child
wishing to train him,
show him the true path.

Black One knows this,
he too seeks the child.
Still stars weep blood,
and no light shines.

Sounds familiar to anybody? I was just thinking once that history always seems to repeat itself. Why not have Palpatine come back? Not impossible with a clone... Though I was thinking more along the lines of a force ghost taking over someone. So we're pretty much back to where we are in ANH... except that no one knows who the savior is. I'll try to work up a new cycle of 6 poems. Hopefully, with the last poem of the last series, giving finality to the struggle. But like I said. It might be a while before I get around to writing more.

I'm working on the sequel. But I'm currently finishing up another SW fanfic (a rather longer piece) and classes start again today. Meaning I dunno how much time I'll have.

(If some of my classes are as boring as last year... that would be plenty of time.)
