Dar Wac calls Palpatine "My Lord"...

Does anyone outside that room know this? If I remember, they called Valorum "Your Honor", right? Has the honorific for the SC changed in ten years, or is this just between Palpy and Dar Wac?

I guess this is the "Episode 2 brings up more questions" thing Sansweet was talking about.

Just a quick question on possible changes... did Dar Wac become Sly Moore? I am just kinda putting two and two together given that she seems to stay close to Palps.

I remember there was two assistants, Uv Gizen and Dar Wac. Did they change one of their names to Sly Moore? I thought Uv Gizen was the guy who flew around the Senate chamber on a speeder bike or whatever, so maybe he's still the same. I also thought Uv Gizen was the one who informed Palpatine of Senator Amidala's "death". I think that's the picture from the insider where Palp is sitting in his chair with Sly to his right and he's got a strange expression on his face. He's probably receiving the news from Uv Gizen.

Anyone know about this mumbo jumbo?

It seems as though it is not just something between Dar Wac and Palpatine. The way I read the scene, Mace and Yoda are already present when this line is spoken.

My guess at this point would be that Palpatine has had everyone start to call him "Lord" instead of "Honor." It shows his growing hold on the Republic; moving the Repbulic closer to a dictatorship. Honor connotes respect, but Lord connotes subservience as well. A nice little touch if you ask me.

Ah, very interesting. Although i didnt mind the idea of her being, like Adi Gallia was in PM, a liason between the Senate and Jedi.

I think Dar Wac is just another aide to Palpy. I have a feeling Dar Wac is seen in hologram in this scene, while Sly Moore is actually in Palpy's presence.

They all should've listened to Padme. She is smarter than all those stupid Jedi put together(although, I do like the Jedi, especially Mace and Yoda)! Not that I am bias or anything...

Why does Mace say that it was mine workers? Does he know something and not want to show it, or is he just wrong?
And what intelligence has he got it from? Surely it would be easier to use the force?

i don't know that it matters where his intelligence is from...what matters is that he thinks, and the jedi think, is that it is not Dooku.

"If BigJerk is right, and she is *replacing* who we thought was Sly Moore..."

Hey, Pizza, I never said that.

Dar Wac, Sly Moore, Uv Gizen. Three seperate people. Palpy just has a lot of people to help with his medication, sponge baths, walkies, changing of the Depends, etc...

But how many aides does he have?! Valorum only had one, I think...

It'll certainly be a visual cue to those Dignitaries in ROTJ.
