    ---The Pit ~ Fighters Chambers---

    Incoming transmission:

The silhouette of Director Sato appeared in the rooms of all of the warriors. It had been a few days since the conclusion of the last round.

“I trust that all of you are well rested and prepared for the next evolution.”

    The hologram recording paused.

“You are summoned to the lower chambers of the arena, the servants and slaves will guide you to the desired specific central location. The time and location which you are to arrive at are now forwarded to your displays and inboxes.” A chime of all the fighters displays and devices would simultaneously mark their delivery of the mentioned information. Meanwhile a sinister smile forming on his lips.

“Do not disappoint the Emperor with tardiness.”

The hologram disappeared, leaving the warriors to finish their final preparations.

    ---The Pit ~ Grand Colosseum---

    They were all gathered….

The furor and frenzy of the crowd was already at a fever pitch. The preliminary first round had been necessary, attentively monitored and watch by the Ebon Knights and Triumvirate at their leisure. Those gathered had witness a high level of competitiveness with the modest crowd cheering on the fighters. But it was time for the next evolution...

The Pit was much more than just an arena and complex. It was living breathing entity. Its structure seemingly interchangeable and flowing. What was once one day, was never the same the next. The very structure itself seem to vibrate as the fighters gathered below the Pit in a staging chamber. The roar of the crowd spiked as if events were already unfolding, which indeed they were. Above even as the fighters waited and prepared the sands of the Pit were moving under the shuffling feet of combatants. An opening act so to speak. The sound of cheers, clashing weapons, yells and screams audible even down to the lower chamber the fighter awaited in. High above a spectacle of combat and death was underway, wetting the crowd’s appetite for the main event.

A tendril of sand loosed from above due to heavy vibration on the Pit floor, impacting the floor of the chamber the fighters stood in waiting. The vibrations above had a tendency to do such, as it would not be the first nor the last time one of the fighters might be dusted with falling sand or pebbles from above as the floor shook. The crowd grew silent, a lull in the activity above. A singular voice, announcing and spurring the crowd further.

The chamber holding the fighters shook with a mechanical vibration, dislodging as the whine of a generator grew. The floor of the chamber began to rise, leaving the chamber as a whole that they occupied and slowly rising upward towards the high ceiling above.

The ceiling gave way, splitting, and retracting to either side as it opened up. A bright light rushing down onto the fighters that were slowly rising towards it. The mechanical grinding of the elevator platform continued its arduous accent. Bringing them closer and closer to the actual Pit floor above. The crowd above could be heard as a steady rising murmur, until finally the fighters emerged. The platform coming level, having brought them up into the center of the arena from underneath I the Pits’ bowels.

A massive roar as the anticipation that had been building was rewarded with the sight of the SIX remaining Dark Warriors now standing in the middle of the Pit. The fighters now seeing a true awesome sight before them.

The arena was different, changed… a massive arena, not like the one before… it was a Colosseum with nearly sixty thousand plus beings filling the surrounding stands. Packed to capacity and thunderous in their response to the fighters having emerged. Upon rising through the arena floor gap, the fighters would see the shimmering Dark Clad guards from before exiting, while slaves pulled the remains of several beast and combatants towards the gated exits of the arena.

While very structured in its appearance, this “Colosseum” saw that luxury was spared no expense even to those common souls present in the grand stands. The crowd was rabid in their seats anticipating the next round.

The Colosseum was the perfect hybrid of modern sleek durasteel and ancient architecture. Employing a modern look while utilizing stone and wood to pull it back to an ancient barbaric time. Up above and placed with a perfect vantage, were the high luxury boxes of the Ebon Knights, along with personal suites of the Triumvir and Emperor’s balconies. Ravaging in their appearance and luxurious beyond compare. The main outcropping held a familiar face to the fighters, that of Tournament Director Sato. Whom stood with a large ornate staff in hand overlooking all at the behest of the Lord Draconis. With a stamp of the staff held in his grasp, Sato called the Colosseum to his attention, the pang of it durasteel against the solid durasteel outcropping echoing throughout.

“Warriors! I - bid – thee – WELCOME!” Sato let the words echo throughout as his flare was evident in his delivery.

“This evening marks a special event, Round two of the Tournament of Darkness!” The arena floor had three obelisk evening arranged in a perfect triangle distance wise from each other. Each one glowing with a vein of red from bottom to top. The top of each was adorned with a banner pair signifying each fighter and indication of placement. As each tower that rose, about four meters in height, was draped with the fighting Match pair's colors.

“We reach back to the days of old! Ancient times! When warriors proved themselves in the fire of combat.”

The crowd was growing more excited and charged with every word as they waited for it to begin.

“Knights!” Sato spoke with a thunderous and booming voice, addressing the six Knights of Darkness remaining. His gaze leaving the crowd, chin dropping as his gaze came down to spy the combatants in the center of the coliseum. Sato's eyes wide staring at them from high above on the outcropping. The crowd had grown deathly silent, as the round was about to begin. Waiting for the words to start the round to be spoken.

    “TO ARMS!”

A large bellowing horn that seemed to vibrate throughout the entire colosseum was sound, signifying that the round had begun. While all of the fighters were in the same arena, they had their individual matches to content with.

The crowd erupted in screaming cheer and excitement.

    Round Two had begun…

QueenSabe7 (Leda) vs. Mikaboshi (Darth Prazutis)
    Mikaboshi move: 1/7
    QueenSabe7 move :

    IC: Darth Prazutis

From the moment Prazutis stepped onto the sand floor of the colosseum he felt the presence of Alekto, he wanted vengeance. His survival in the last match was a humiliation, if he could not win he should have died.

He was sure that Vahl looked upon him as a failure in this moment, it was a situation he could not abide.

Hood up, and mask concealing his face, Prazutis' shame was too strong to dare show his face. He could not even look any of the Ebon Knights or Triumvirate in the eyes, instead his baleful gaze turned upon his next adversary, Leda. He now stood only feet away from the obelisk that designated where his match would take place, waiting as the announcer droned on.

Impatience ate at him, the waiting was insufferable. He required blood so that Vahl would favor him once again, it mattered not if the blood was that of his opponent or his own, the Goddess would accept either.

The hilt of his lightsaber was disassembled, he would wield his blades Jar'Kai rather than as a staff.

“Knights!” Sato's voice rolled over the low rumble of the crowd, instantly quieting them. A master showman, always, Sato paused to heighten the anticipation of those in attendance, just as it reached it's crechendo the loud hum of Prazutis' twin red blades being activated cut the silence. “TO ARMS!” Sato boomed, and their fight was engaged.

Prazutis wasted no time, he charged his opponent like an enraged Reek, each step fueled by the Force and helping him close the distance fast. He sent a telekenetic wave forward though Leda was not his target, he aimed for the sand of the colosseum about five to ten feet in front of her, sending a cloud of sand and dust right at the woman.

The assassin went right into that cloud, he would not repeat previous mistakes, his intent was to put her on the defense from the very start. All he could see through the cloud was the shadow of her form, he hoped she could see nothing at all, but after the last round he dared not assume anything. Saving one blade for a possible defensive counter, he lunged forward, his lightsaber striking forward with blinding speed directly at the center of Leda's chest.

He would love nothing more than to end this contest decisively.

    Adirondackjedi move:

    IC: Saadi

Blinding color swirled as the man fell. Gaudy lights masking the tragic death of his only father. Revenge. Everyday a fight. Neverending. No recollection of a time devoid of battle. And today was no different, except that it carried with it stakes of the utmost importance. Blinding color swirled as the man fell.

Regarding the hologram carefully, Saadi listened intently to the words of Director Sato. Noting the time, the Clawdite checked his lightsaber one more time and made all final preparations for this battle.
His constant battle. With others and with himself.

Entering the warriors chamber at the appointed time, Saadi noticed the ceiling part ways to reveal an extremely bright light, much like the light on Coruscant, except lacking variety. Stepping into the Colisseum, it was obvious the many thousands of rabid spectators were here to see blood spilled and or at least limbs cauterized.

Swallowing hard, Darth Saadi suspicially eyed the other fighters and suddenly became aware that his throat was so dry as to falsely create a sense of unease. His thoughts returned to his breathing and the masterful training he had recently received.

Arriving at the place of battle, Saadi glared at his Zabrak opponent. Using Fear, he hoped to further distract this obviously nervous Sith.

Hearing Director Sato's booming voice say "TO ARMS!", Saadi began walking quickly towards Corvus, the Zabrak's face rapidly getting larger as if by the use of quick jump cuts.

Activating his crimson lightsaber, he drew on the dark side of the Force. Sensing Corvus's fear, Saadi lunged and drove his lightsaber forward in a staff like stabbing motion directly at the Zabrak's stomach.

Kaleesh-Cyborg (Grievance Vexx) vs. corinthia (Alekto)
    Grievance Vexx - move 1 of 7

Sallow reptilian eyes narrow in discomfort as the bloodthirsty roar of the crowd bombards the Kaleesh cyborg's sensitive hearing. How he hates crowds. Even more so, he hates crowds like this. Ignorant, barbaric, mad with a bloodlust that seems insatiable. It is enough to put him in a very testy mood; not the nicest side of Grievance Vexx for an opponent to meet for the first time. Part of him wants to gut a few of the wealthy spectators, parading as being so aristocratic and sophisticated any other time, yet sitting here now, screaming for the violence and death of individuals who have done them no wrong, all for the sake of being entertained.

But I am the savage and uncivilized one? he thinks with a scoff of disdain, These well-to-dos must be too cheap to purchase mirrors. Gutless cowards. If I leaped over that wall right now, at least half of them would soil themselves. Guarantee it.

Reining in his misdirected anger that is serving to distract him, Grievance inhales deeply and rolls his broad shoulders, settling himself to the task at hand. Time to fight another fight; prove his worth once more. Reiis had given him a run for his credits and it had been a difficult duel for him, though the difficulty rested more on his psychological side than the physical. He likes to fight, make no mistake. However fighting an ally so aggressively does not set well with his honor code. His body--what is left of it--has recovered; the psychological wounds though...those will linger and smart for a while. He inclines his head respectfully to the tournament director Sato and the headmaster Draconis in turn before moving to a spot in the arena he feels drawn to.

Still irate with the noisy spectators, he purposely positions himself fairly close to them. They want a show? He will bring it directly to their front door. He chuckles in satisfaction as a few Neimoidians on the front row begin to squirm uncomfortably. They are certainly close enough to be spattered with blood should the cyborg decide to use his talons and make a successful strike with them in this fight.

Yes. Squirm like the worms that you are, he thinks, locking unblinking eyes on the Neimoidians, Maggots! Greedy pieces of cosmic dung! You shall have your bloodbath. He shakes his head as a feral growl rumbles in his chest. Focus, Vexx. Your honor as Kaleesh and Sith rests heavily on this battle.

Remaining close to the crowd for the sake of giving them the intimidation he feels they deserve, he silently turns to face his opponent. He knows nothing about this one, save that she is female. He is not inclined to underestimate her though. He had not underestimated Reiis either. After all, he hails from a race where females make fierce warriors and he has been taught all of his life that to underestimate an opponent is the first misstep into defeat. Ever alert and vigilant, his eyes lock on his target, yet he does not make a single move of aggression. He rarely ever is the one to initiate an attack.

"I hope you have come prepared to give this lot of worms good show," he calls to Alekto, giving a solid backward kick to the wall that separates him from the crowd, causing the spectators to squirm and tremble again before inclining his head to his opponent, "Ladies first."

    Adirondackjedi27 Move 1 of 7

IC: Darth Corvus walked onto the field of battle. He stopped and looked around, the cheering crowds, the booing. He drank it in. He closed his eyes, steadying himself for the fight he was in. He slowly opened his eyes, as he did he embraced the Dark Side of the Force, letting it flow through him and strengthen him. He heard the call to arms and saw his opponent charge towards him.

Corvus saw the blade approach then rolled out of the way, dodging the attack. He landed in a crouched position then grabbing his lightsaber, activating it, the crimson blade came to life. The Zabrak stood and cracked his neck as he studied his opponent. He brought his blade up, then shifting his feet jumped and brought his lightsaber over his head to strike Saadi's head.

Bright colors. Swirling. Spinning. Enveloping his mind. Distracting. Destroying. Death. What was that blasted smell? Swirling. Stultifying. Stench. It was the smell of death.

Sensing the end was near even before it had begun, Saadi's face shifted into a hideous, maniacal grin as he lunged at the Zabrak.
Well aware of that species' athleticism and quick reflexes, the Clawdite half expected it when his agile opponent rolled away and crouched like a frightened Ewok.

Turning his virulent gaze violently to the left to behold Corvus, Saadi sneered at him and spit in his direction. So the Zabrak came to play after all, he mused. Good. It will make his death all the more rewarding.

Seeing and hearing Corvus crack his own neck brought much excitement to Darth Saadi, as he immediately imagined his foot slamming down on the Zabrak's head and severing the vital vertebrae.

Walking towards Corvus now, Saadi saw his opponent jump to strike, and the shapeshifter immediately raised his blade, blocking the blow, the lightsabers hissing as they met, forming a cross pattern between the combatants.

Saadi snarled and swiftly drove forward, repeatedly hacking at Corvus's blade, attempting to dislodge it from his hand. Stooping lower to the Pit floor, Saadi furiously swiped his blade at the Zabrak's knees. He was hoping to sell his boots on Coruscant when this was all over.

IC: Corvus parried each attack, blocking, ducking and moving. Corvus backed away then flipped, giving himself some distance. His opponent was strong and he had to admit, pretty good with a light saber. Corvus kept his breathing calm as he began to put together a plan.

Corvus noticed the Clawdite had brute strength. He would let the Clawdite tire out. Corvus had speed and natural grace on his side. Corvus began to step close, attack then put distance between them.

Corvus was dancing around Saadi. He would get in close strike a few times, aiming in different spots, the arms, torso, head, legs. Corvus was now really enjoying the fight. As he moved around he would taunt Saadi. Fighting when angry was not smart and Corvus was counting on the Clawdite to make a mistake.

    IC: Leda

Leda took a breath as the tournament’s announcer droned on, heralding the next round. She could feel her new opponent’s eyes boring into her, though she did not return his stare; it wasn’t time.

Flashing back to her previous fight for a moment, the sensation of that creature’s hot breath on her face and the slimy slow-crawl of its saliva coating her hair nearly caused her to gag on the spot. Forcing back the sickening urge, she closed her eyes and ran a hand through her smooth, silvery locks, now sans slobber. Thankfully having been given time between matches to gather her thoughts and rest, she was most relieved to just be clean, even if just for a little while.

She glanced down at her fresh attire with a satisfied smile. Her previous gear had been ruined beyond recognition and she had somehow found suitable replacements – even boots! – among the rather poor selection she had been offered.

Truly a miracle, she mused, altering her position for a better view of her new footwear. If I must fight, might as well look good while doing so.

Appearance aside Leda knew she was ready, mentally and physically, to face an opponent that was actually worthy of her time and effort. Ryrr had been a disappointing waste and while she relished in her triumph over him, their match had left a sour taste in her mouth. A true victory came from a challenge and she had yet to be offered one, a real one. She was certain it wouldn’t be so “easy-going” in this next stage and she looked forward to it even as she realized she must come out on top all the same.

“TO ARMS!” the announcer’s voice bellowed, immediately followed by a horn with a pitch so deep she could feel its vibrations in her chest.

    It had begun.

Leda clenched her hands into fists and felt a rush of focused energy wash over her, determination and drive setting in. Only then did the Knight raise her glowing eyes to peer at the next man she must best, one Darth Prazutis.

Her brow furrowed at what she saw when her gaze found him. Much to her displeasure, he was already on the move.

Only able to catch the most fleeting glimpse of his charging form rushing towards her, the glow of his dual lightsabers trailing at his sides, her line of sight was quickly blocked by a wall of dirt and dust that shot up from the pit floor directly before her. So fast was this unexpected tactic by her opponent, Leda didn’t have time to shield herself and was smacked dead in the face by the wave, several particles seeping into her eyes before she had the thought to snap them shut.

Without clear sight but now having the knowledge that Prazutis was going the route of distract and attack, Leda growled in pain as she immediately dropped to her knees and pushed into a side roll, aiming to bring herself out of the strike path should her clever opponent stay on a straight line. In her haste she stumbled slightly while regaining her footing once more, pausing only to spit dirt from her mouth and quickly wipe at her rapidly tearing eyes. She blinked repeatedly but still couldn’t see at her best. So, she utilized the Force to reach out and gain a sense of her surroundings until the dirt was flushed from her vision.

Her saber hilt was in her hand without a thought, the pale yellow blade igniting in a flash as she pinpointed his presence, able to make out a hazy outline of his body. Her free left hand shot forward to return Prazutis’ attack, only this time she targeted a Force Push directly at his legs with intent to knock him down, or at the very least off balance. Then she leapt, swinging her saber overheard to strike down on top of him.

If her plan worked, just as the Force assault would hit him, so would she; timed as a dual attack from above and below.

Still, it would be a short fight if he didn't activate his lightsaber. Drawing and activating his weapon, he started approaching his foe, waiting for the opening salvo.

Yellow. Green. Black. But mostly Red.

Seeing his opponent back up and flip away pleased Darth Saadi very much and he breathed deeply as he summoned further strength from the dark side of the Force; allowing his anger and hatred to take over, giving him much focus.

Noticing that Corvus was making short, erratic attacks and then retreating, Saadi held his ground and blocked each delicate strike with a forceful blow. The Clawdite was curious to discover what sort of style this was, as it certainly did not present him with any immediate danger, but rather seemed like sparring in a training session.

Breathing rhythmically, allowing the dark side to overtake his entire being, Saadi gripped his lightsaber tightly in his right hand, the Clawdite repeatedly blocking light blows aimed at his arms, torso, head, and legs.

Finally, growing tired of the Zabrak's little training dance, Saadi Force pushed Corvus backwards as he began to approach again and immediately leapt into the air, slashing his lightsaber at Corvus's neck, hoping to remove his head.

Saadi planned to give the Zabrak skull to Cynthia and Sputnik as a gift for them to play in.

He was flung backwards as he was Force pushed away. The Zabrak saw the Clawdite leap and swing. Trying to behead him? Good plan, but sadly not going to work. Corvus ducked then bringing his own blade up aiming for the Clawdite's leg. He smirked, the appendage was wide open, unguarded and within range. If he managed to take the leg off he'd present it as a gift to his master, Of course he'd happily present Saadi's head to Hekate as a gift. Speaking of whom, he glaced into the stands and saw her.

The rain fell in dark sheets of despair as the thunder reigned and the lightning quelled any momentum in the filthy Pit where Darth Saadi found himself more often than not.

Such was his lot in life.

Although he had often been surrounded by lowlife scum, since the age of nine in fact, his most recent interactions, both here and elsewhere, left him so full of disdain and hatred for everyone that he feared he might soon be reaching his breaking point. A kill would immediately alleviate his frustration.

    REVENGE!

Sensing the presence of a fellow Sith in need of a beating, the Clawdite seamlessly shifted into the guise of a nearby Weequay guard who was standing by.

Saadi spied a powerful opponent whom he knew well.

The mighty Darth Thunderous stood some great distance before him and activated his lightsaber. That much Saadi could tell.

Much to the changeling's surprise, Thunderous began walking directly towards Saadi!

    Does he recognize me?

Since it is common knowledge that Clawdites can easily shift into the guise of a Weequay with little discomfort, Saadi figured that his intelligent opponent had discovered his ruse, as it were.

Seeing Thunderous continue his steady approach, Saadi wasted no time and quickly took a knee while drawing a blaster from his belt. Aiming carefully, he quickly fired twice at his opponents' midsection, the blasts echoing throughout the disgusting Pit.

It was as good a time as any to employ the Arch form. Even though Thunderous was encountering a blaster attack instead of a lightsaber, the defense would still work. He lowered his lightsaber to defend his chest and stomach areas, bringing his arms in defensively to protect his rib cage. He advanced as he deflected the blaster bolts back at Saadi.

He knew that his defensive moves would be harder as he neared Saadi, but Thunderous needed to be in closer range to prepare his next move, the Pounce. He continued to deflect Saadi's attacks as he got closer. Thunderous knew that he would probably have to jump over Saadi, somersaulting in the air in order to use the Pounce. As the stream of blaster bolts increased, Thunderous readied his next move.

Thunderous continued his advance undeterred, looking like a Droideka as he approached steadily and blocked Saadi's initial two shots.

The Clawdite ducked to the Pit floor to avoid being hit by his own blaster bolts.

Enjoying this challenge, Saadi decided to keep firing and leave his lightsaber fastened to his belt. Using a pillar for cover against his own blaster bolts, he aimed carefully, firing first at Thunderous's chest, then his head. Repeat. His fellow Sith seemed to have little difficulty blocking these shots, as the changeling remembered another deadly approach he had available in his arsenal.

As his opponent drew near, Saadi reached into his "Weequay" pocket and took out a small glass case that contained a freaky looking arthropod called a Kouhun.

Saadi quickly loosened the lid to the container and flung the case containing the highly venomous creature directly at Thunderous.

Poison just might be the cure after all!

    IC: Thunderous

Thunderous couldn't help but smile. Little did Saadi know it, but his latest attack gave Thunderous the opening he needed. Using the Force, he leapt into the air, easily clearing the potential reach of his enemy's blade, allowing the poisonous creature to sail harmlessly past him. Before Saadi could react, Thunderous was now behind him and ready to use the Pounce.

Thunderous struck quickly with a sudden thrust. Not giving Saadi a chance to react, he followed up with a series of lightning-fast strokes, designed to wear down Saadi's defenses. The key to this form was to overwhelm his enemy's defense before he could react. Therefore, Thunderous knew this method was the best way to ensure a victory.

Seeing a sad smile present itself upon his opponent's face, Darth Saadi shifted back into his natural state. No need to waste resources any longer.
His eyes widened slightly as Thunderous leapt into the air.

Sensing his trajectory, the Clawdite immediately sprinted forward towards the exact location his opponent had been a moment before. Continuing to run at full speed, Saadi slid to a stop several meters further away and quickly picked up the object in question. He furiously tightened the lid on the canister holding his valuable Kouhun. Best to save this for another time.

Taking a few deep breaths while calming his mind, Saadi re-placed the valuable weapon within his cloak pocket and turned to grin at Darth Thunderous.

Activating his lightsaber, he stood his ground and chose to wait and see what other moves the Sithly kittie cat had in store.

    IC: Thunderous

Thunderous had to admit that Saadi was good. As soon as he realized what Thunderous was up to, he had changed positions, forcing Thunderous to abandon the Pounce. Since Saadi was now on the defensive, it was time to use the Prowl.

Thunderous circled around his opponent, probing for weaknesses. He was on the lookout for more surprises Saadi might have in store. He attempted a few quick probing thrusts to test Saadi's defenses. He didn't expect to deliver a fatal blow now, and therefore he wasn't surprised when Saadi was able to counter him.

Clearly, this was going to be a more difficult fight than he had anticipated. But Thunderous was patient. After all, he was a Sith.

    Match 3
Kaleesh-Cyborg (Grievance Vexx) vs. corinthia (Alekto)
    Grievance Vexx - move 1 of 7
    Alekto - move 1 of 7

    IC: Alekto

The crowd makes Alekto uneasy. She looks from her opponent, Grievance Vexx, to the crowd, to her bare feet in the dirt of the ring. In her hand is her dagger, clenched in a sweating green fist. Grievance Vexx is more machine than flesh, she notes, swallowing dryly. Fewer places for her blade to find purchase, less skin to pierce. She gathers her wits about her, and gives her chin a cocksure tip in Vexx's direction as he calls to her.

"Ladies first," he calls, and Alekto screws up her nose at this. How ladylike is she, anyway?

She spits on the ground before herself and squares her shoulders. "Afraid to make the first move, droid?" she hollers back insultingly.

With a movement of her free right hand, Alekto curls her fingers inward, focusing her attention on Vexx's metallic ankle-- fully intending to crush it with the Force. Because with so few places to cut or stab, she feels she must rely on that elusive and wild power called the Force.

    Match 3
Kaleesh-Cyborg (Grievance Vexx) vs. corinthia (Alekto)
    Grievance Vexx - move 2 of 7

Grievance had begun to circle patiently after inviting Alekto to make the first move in this fight, sizing her up, working to culminate intimidation on his side. She certainly isn't ladylike by the standards of most cultures, but Grievance Vexx does not hail from "most cultures"; no, he comes from a primitive and warfaring race where females are not to be trifled with any more than the males are. He can sense that she is already intimidated, no doubt by the fact that he is ninety percent cybernetic with what would appear to be little places to strike and mortally wound. For a fleeting moment, he is struck with the pangs of injustice. In the past, he had been intimidating because his reputation as a warrior preceded him or his opponent would remain unintimidated until there was a show of skill and he proved himself formidable. Now appearance alone is often what brings about the intimidation. Some would consider it an enhancement; Grievance considers it a disgrace.

Almost as foolish as a human for her first impression, the cyborg notes disdainfully as Alekto calls him a droid. He is getting better at ignoring this insult though. His first encounter with Reiis had infuriated him when she had used a similar insult. Not this time. He may be the spitting image of his father; a reincarnation of General Grievous, but he is more controlled. He will not be provoked to blind fury easily in a fight.

"Hmph. I suppose that form of gratitude is to be expected," he grumbles, tensing visibly as Alekto calls upon the Force and causes his own sensitivity to arise with that ever-obnoxious ringing in his ears. The next thing he becomes aware of is a pressure that borderlines pain surrounding his lower leg. There is an ever-so-subtle groan of metal and the joint begins to tremble and twist slightly as though some invisible strength is trying to collapse his ankle entirely. A low throaty chuckle rumbles in his chest.

"You will have to do better than that, warrior," he tells her, "This so-called droid is not made of aluminum. Such soft metal, a war machine does not make."

The attempted localized crush does bring his circling to a standstill, forcing him to reassess the situation and get a better eye on what he is faced with. Scrutinizing Alekto's form, his eyes search for weapons. Has she come to this battle armed only with a mere dagger? he thinks incredulously, his eyes traveling to the Headmaster Draconis and Director Sato. What are they thinking? They know I fight with multiple lightsabers ranging from three to four feet in length and I am almost fully covered in durasteel; this is hardly a fair match at all for the female.

His honor code proves to be a strong distraction to him as he becomes angry. He does not want an easy victory and though he is not underestimating Alekto or her skill, he sees that he has way too many advantages in this fight. He could end all of this very quickly; he's sure of it. Unfortunately, the honor-bound Kaleesh is not cutthroat enough to behave that way. Again, he glances at the coordinators for this tournament, then he fixes his eyes on his opponent. He shakes his head and narrows his eyes with rekindled determination. Honor or not, he simply cannot back down; he has come too far and fought too hard. No doubt his opponent has as well and though she has insulted him already, he will not lower himself to insult her by making himself an easy contender. She will just have to be remarkably good with the Force and that blade of hers if that truly is all she has.

"Come now, fierce one," he chuckles, igniting dual blades and twirling his wrists a time or two, "If a droid is all that I am, why do you seem so unsure of yourself? I do hope your blade is at least constructed of cortosis for your sake though. Otherwise, this could end badly for you."

With that warning, he closes the distance between them in three long strides, though not without a noticeable limp, and strikes out with his talons, aiming to jerk Alekto's feet out from under her, a move she might have been more successful with on him had she had used the Force to shove or jerk rather than to crush if she intended to target a mechanical part of his body.

"How?" was her thought when Edo's saber was deflected by durasteel. I'll have to alter my strategy. She quickly shifted her left saber to block the incoming kick, and raised her right one to meet the strike with both of her sabers. Edo then raised her hand, attempting to force push Reiss not back, but to the side. Hoping Reiss would fall and expose herself, she slashed upwards with her right saber and again darted with her left saber, this time aiming at Reiss' weapon.
Still thinking about Reiss' words and their possible truth, she asked, "And what is being a jedi but a way to handle power, and protect others with it?"

The Clawdite maintained an intense level of concentration on his opponent's actions, even though his mind kept attempting to take him out of this duel. Nit picking at his consciousness, his thoughts were reminding him of a multitude of responsibilities awaiting his immediate attention.

Saadi blocked Thunderous's calculated strikes, while still maintaining his ground, and yet, refusing to attack. Many minutes passed by. How curious?

Seeing the patient Sith prowl around before him, the changeling watched him carefully, thoughtfully, and then, without warning, suddenly spit at Thunderous.

Releasing a shrill cry from the very depths of his ever changing soul, Saadi raged towards Thunderous, lightsaber raised overhead in a two-handed grip.

    IC: Reiis Invadator

Rubber sole and durasteel hit Edo's left sabers as she brought the weapon up to block Reiis's kick, eliciting a sharp curse from the latter as the boot was rendered unusable. There was little Reiis hated more than having to refit and attach some damaged article of clothing on her prosthetic body. It was a time-consuming and tedious process.

Finding her saber blocked, too, Reiis began a jump back, but was simultaneous tossed to the side with Edo's Force Push. She grunted as she collapsed in a heap to the ground, narrowly missing one of the sabers and snarling at her opponent as she lashed out with a Mind Shard. If that wasn't enough to stop her, Reiis returned with a dual attack.

In her right hand, was the Darksaber, of course, and Reiis stabbed at Edo's midsection with that. She would use her left hand for the experiment.

    Lesser Force Storm

She had seen it done only once before (on her, namely), but that was enough to pique her curiosity and make an attempt irresistible -- despite the fact that she had absolutely no training for it. A Force-storm, permeated by Sith Lightning that would beat upon the recipient with potentially lethal force. Reiis let out a feral yell, thrusting her arm at the Jedi as she focused all her rage onto her.

A little black cloud (more like a haze) would form, with one tiny tiny rivulet of Force Lightning swimming in it before died vanished into oblivion.

Reiis now yelled more in frustration than Dark Side anger.

    IC: Darth Prazutis

His eyes narrowed as the cloud of debris overtook the obstacle to his redemption, the spilled blood of this one would pay for his redemption. He did not hesitate as he rushed into the cloud, a second telekinetic wave preceded his advance as to keep his own eyes clear of sand.

Still, the cloud was thick. Only thanks to the glow of her yellow blade could he begin to see her, the Force filled in the the gaps of his vision. For all his precaution he could not foresee the woman's counter, her push knocked the leg from beneath him, causing him to stumble and fall to his knee. He had no time to react to properly defend himself, his only hope was to stop her overhead strike with a high cross block.

His red blades protested angrily as they met her yellow blade, sparks rained down upon him. His arms protested, so powerful was her strike they almost buckled. The strain was terrible, but he could not fail again, his disgrace would be complete in the eyes of his Goddess.

There was no way he could overpower her now, not in a position so compromised. A glint in his eye did not betray his action, just the cunning behind it. Without any further warning one of his lightsaber blades deactivated, after a slight adjustment of his wrist Prazutis activated his blade once again, a tactic called blade flashing which he learned long ago. The arm which held his remaining activated blade flexed as it took the full burden of defense, but the assassin drew on the Dark Side to ensure he held her blade....even if only for a moment longer

He stared into the eyes of Ledo hoping to see her reaction as his red saber came to life once again, however now it was occupied the space on the opposite side of her yellow blade and was free to complete it's deadly arc and slice cleanly through the woman. The close proximity of the two ensured that the she had little time to react, and her blade was already committed in a position that barred it's use at an effective defense.

Prazutis dared to let a small grin cross his lips, though his mirth would remain concealed behind his mask.

    IC - Darth Valdimar
    The Pit ~ Sewer

The fight had certainly been interesting but the priest was growing weary. “Thanks,” Valdimar quipped as he eyed Grievance’s dropped lightsaber. It lay on the edge of the walkway and inspired the priest as to what his next move would be. “And I am impressed with your tenacity. What’s been most impressive is your patience in letting your opponent make the mistake so that you can counter and capitalize. I respect you as an opponent.” Covertly, Valdimar let his hand drop into a pocket within his robe. Inching forward, ever so slightly adjusting his feet, the Tatooine native continued, “If I may, one criticism, a warrior should take better care of his weapons!”

Picking up his foot he swung half halfheartedly in a weak feint at his opponent’s chest while slamming his foot down on the edge of the rickety walkway causing it to buck the lightsaber over the edge. “I got it!” he cried as he leaped down after it, snagging it in mid air as he plummeted towards the nasty waters below. Twisting in mid air he chucked the weapon back up towards the warrior. “Catch!” he cried before disappearing within the murky waters. The lightsaber whizzed back up and perfectly ended its arch directly in front of the cyborg’s face... but it wasn’t alone. Floating next to it was a very shiny, chrome, ball-shaped device with a tiny red light that beeped and blinked rapidly.
