The rating for the SW Hoilday Specail, anyone know?

Does anyone know how the rating on the special did? I am sure cause it was Star Wars it got some good numbers. But it never re-aired. Even if its bad, I thought they would re-air it if the first showing got good ratings. Was it slammed back then after it aired? I remember seeing it as a kid but can't remember if I hated it or loved it. However I do remember myself and all the others kids being all hyped up to watch it! I have it on video and believe me, no one can tell someone else how bad it is. (15min of Wookies talking with no idea what they are saying!)
So anyone know how the rating for it did?

I believe it did well in the ratings. I don't know the actual numbers though.

I assume GL prevented it airing again.

 

I'm 32 years old, A HUGE HUGE Star Wars Fan.
and I just now saw the Holiday Special 2 days ago for the first time.

WTF is all I could think.

NOW I Understand way GL HATES IT.

I Still want it on DVD. It is still SW.
But I hope they fired the Makeup artists
for the special.

Luke = looking like a ghost
Han= To much makeup
LEIA = was done the best
Chewbacca = also done good.

What was up with Itchey's sex opps I mean Fantasy machine. Was that really needed for children to see?

Plot: Chewie is late for Life Day with his family, cheesy stuff, cheesy stuff, a song, Boba Fett cartoon, cheesy stuff, song sung by Carrie Fisher.

Initial interest. Crap. Cartoon. Crap.

I know it sounds harsh, but believe me... you guys will learn. One day.

Even though the general concensus is that it's garbage on a stick... speaking as someone who's never seen it, I'd love to see it.

I would love to see it for it's curiosty value.

You cannot doubt it's a curiosty, and therefore to those for whom it remains unseen, it has an allure all of it's own!

Like perfume, only toxic.
