A low mist descended upon the island from a fresh rainstorm. From the main breeding facility the humans had set up, several rumbles were heard as well as a loud roar. A massive fin smashed up from the roof and then the entire complex shattered. A massive creature with a long, crocodilian snout sniffed the air of freedom, and began stomping off into the forest...

At another part of the island, several smaller creatures were tending to nests. The leader of the pack, a tall male with a long neck and tail nuzzled an egg next to his mate, who was laying near the nest. For a creature with so many deadly weapons, he nuzzled the egg again gently and walked over to his mate, nuzzled her neck and laid down next to her while other members of the pack patrolled around the nest perimeter...

Species: Velociraptor

Personality: Stong, but kind of reckless young leader. Protective and loving to mate, Martia.
Bio: Born in the exact same year of the human exodus of Isla Sorna, Pod was raised by the human fearful older Velociraptors, he grew up on stories of their abuses and experiments on the island. His father, Red, was killed in a territorial dispute with the Blood Grass tribe a year and a half after the human exodus. He became leader and rallied his people against their more aggressive breatheren, eventually escaping to a secluded grove with plenty of game.

For six months he's been leading the pack sucessfully. Mating with his childhood friend, Martia, he became a father recently.

Bio: One of the last ones of his kind that was genetically created he has become one of the most hunted of his species on the island due to his lazy/easy going nature. To defend himself against the near endless assaults he has already begun to devise various strategies to defend himself should he fall under siege.

Bio: Blaze was hatched as the only surviving hatchling of his parents. Shortly afterwards, they were killed by human hunters. Since then, he had a strong dislike for humans. Now Blaze is doing well as the hunting leader of the pack. However he seeks Pod?s title as the leader to raise a family of his own safely without fear of Pod eating his young since him and his mate are refuges of the Broken Claw pack.

Bio: Born to as the youngest of a clutch of her parents, she was picked around a lot while growing up. Helped by her friend Blaze, she survived to adulthood to have a nest of eggs of her own. However this proved a great risk for her. For if Pod found out, he might eat them to prevent the growth of rivals as done in thee Broken Claw pack for where her and Blaze are refuges from. Currently her eggs are hidden in a bush nearby with an entrance where only her and Blaze knows about.

Bio: Gary is a grizzled veteran who survived for a long time. Even now, scars and wrinkles bear signs of his age. Throughout his years, he fought countless battles against tyrannosaurs, velociraptors, allosaurs, and the like. Also he sired many children. In one of his greatest battles against the tyrannosaurs, his left horn broke off. To this day, he carries this mark as a trophy for his hard won victory. Sadly, he?s growing old. Now he prepares his son Lance for leadership of the herd.

Bio: James grew up on the streets of New York, His parents struggled financially but to them 3 it didnt matter as long as they had eachother. When he turned 20 he went to a college in Northern California for 4 years and got a degree in Psychology. He currently works as a pilot that routinely flies through the carribean, Mexico, South and Central america.

 

Name: Bone Grinder
Species: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Gender: male

Personality: Vicious, angry territorial
Bio: Bone Grinder, Or "Bone" for short, got his name by the way he hilled his prey, by grinding their heads off with his teeth. Though he is a relatively young T-Rex, he bears the scars and marks of many battles, especially the long claw drag scars on his back and his face over his eye. As he grew, his hide changed its color from solid red, to a hide with a black underbelly and random striped patterns of black all over his body. the defining turning point in his life was when he killed his only companion from his child hood in a territorial dispute.

Well here's my hat in the ring. I have two batches of GM approved charaters, one batch is prehistoric beasts, one is modern man. Ill chuck the beasts in first:

Name: Solo (Italian for "Alone")
Species: Allosaurus
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Coloration: Dusky brown with black tiger-stripes, orange/yellow belly
Size: 24 feet long, 11 feet tall, 2000 lbs
Personality: Aggressive, bully towards smaller dinosaurs, fearful of larger carnosaurs such as Spinosaurus or T-Rex, respectful of the Velociraptors, insatiably preys on Stegosarus, possessive of his jungle territory territory and mates.
Bio: As one of the first naturally born dinosaurs on the Island, Solo matured in a world with no human interaction, although their buildings make for some curiosities.
His first encounter was a research group on a beach. Seeing that kind of easy prey, he waits for the next opporotunity to find and feed on them, make it an easy meal out of them.
Despite his territoriality and his bluster, he still fears larger carnosaurs that could kill him, and gives the Velociraptors space due to his past run-ins with them. Any others however are viciously ambushed and attacked by this bully.

Species: Velociraptor/Deinonychus hybrid

Age: 2
Coloration: Blue-Gray scaling with larger raised whitish "Feather-like" scales on the back of his head and neck, lighter belly
Size: 12 feet long, 5.5 feet tall, 150 lbs.
Personality: Hyper, playfully antagonistic towards Pog and other Raptors, fearless, adventurous, almost a thrill seeker, curious of humans rather than fearful, loyal to Pod and the Pack first and foremost
Bio: Arc's father was never known. His mother came to the pack and was accepted as a member almost instantly, the pack recognizing the victim of a human attack when they saw it.
Hatched at almost the same time as Pod, from an early age it was noted that Arc was always the more hyper of the two despite being the larger one.
Although in terms of size Arc is the bigger Raptor, Pod is the more mature one. Arc frequently goads other Raptors into chasing him out of fun, playing catch with his food, and has displayed that he is not afraid of bigger badder dinosaurs like T-Rex, frequently annoying them and running circles around them.
Despite his apparent immaturity, its clear that Arc is a thinker. Not raised on the fearful stories of other adults, Arc is curious rather than fearful of humans.
Yet through it all, he is completely loyal to the Pack in general, and his longtime friend Pod in particular, and is willing risk his life for the pack.

Name: Lopov
Species: Dilophosaurus
Gender: Female
Coloration: Yellow-brown with dark brown tiger stripes down back, brown facial ridges
Size: 4 feet tall, 18 feet long
Age: 17
Personality: Brooding, calculating, scheming, devious
Bio: As a first generation dinosaur on the island, Lobov is already loosing traits of her half amphibian progenitors. While the venom glands have been retained, the frill is almost gone. However, with the loss of the frill comes another revalation, that Dilophosaurus were not active hunters but scavengers.
Yet with this realization comes the fact that Lopov has learned and adapted, and is nearly as outright intelligent as the raptors.
Forever on the alert for a free meal, Lopov will frequently bully smaller predators away from kills. Even more devious, she will sometimes "assist" the raptors in locating prey, all while waiting for the one chance to claim a truly worthy prize: a Ratpor Egg. Such a meal would sustain her for a good while, and signal that the Raptors aren't the only devious dinosaurs on the Island.
She is willing to go to any length, use any trick or other dinosaur to get her way and to ensure her survival.

Coloration: Crimson red, black marks looking like tribal paint around his gold eyes and mouth.
Personality: Aggressive, wise, and very territorial despite his old age.

Bio: Rezak GoldenEye is the largest and oldest Giganotosaurus that was able to escape from captivity; others had fallen to humans and other dinosaurs. He is also the oldest, but many a times he had to prove to younger males that age is just a number. Rezak walks proud and large, as he should, him being the largest dinosaur besides a Spinosaurus and he has yet to see one who is dumb or courageous enough to step into his territory...
