The REAL Mara Jade!

Now, I am as much a fan of Shannon Baksa as the next guy, but as Yoda said, "No...there is another".

Someone started this thread about a better model to play Mara Jade, and I TOTALLY agree with him.



What do you all think?

She would totally rock as Mara! Thats how I pictured her.

Some of the people they picked to model the EU characters are good and some are......well.....interesting.

I swear those EU CCG images were like Christmas gifts from an older aunt who some years got you a sweet toy or other years when you unwrapped her jello mold that had cat food in it.

Some were good images...like Karrde, Guri and Mirax. Then there were the others..... Corran and Thrawn (don't even get me started on THAT card)

Oh yeah, she is beautiful. I guess if Mara is perfect, then this woman hits the mark for a Mara look alike.

Personally, i see Mara as more in the like of the chick that play Sara Pezini in Witchblade. She looks nice, but also looks like she'd take your ass and but it in your ear if you screwed with her, which is Mara. That's just some Photoshopped Supermodel. the only thing i think looks like Mara is the doctered hair and eyes, other then that, nothing else could pass for Mara, she just isn't real enough.

(that's ironic since Mara isn't real, but you know what i mean)

 

That model is laeticia casta. She is a sports illustrated/victoria secrets model. She would make a good Mara Jade if only Mara was french.

 

No offense Mike, but that chick from Witchblade looks a little too...what's the phrase I'm looking for..."worked over" for my tastes.

Typically, I hate supermodels. I've got no use for a snotty littly piss-anty 2x4 that thinks she rates more for one day than I do for the entire year!

However, this photoshop-worked pic of LC as Mara REALLY does it for me.

 

I didn't mean that chick specifically, but one with that rugid kick ass woman look. you know the one i mean.
