I'm somewhat speechless. I feel incapable of leaving a very long reply. It might have something to do with the longer version you are withholding and my inability to find green tea chocolate online. And my lack of money. Or rather, I will need my money to buy "Choices" and the 20th anniv version of "Heirs".

:( Melanna wants Thrawn to love her. I wonder if she'll ever get her wish.

Btw: Since Thrawn is preparing her for becoming a Head of State, does that mean he will marry her?

    Great update! =D=

Btw: Found another great Thrawn story. Beware, it is looooooong! It's called "Daughter of the Empire". http://dote3.blogspot.com/
You can find the pdf on the right side if you scroll down a bit. Not a perfect Thrawn, but def very good and I love the perspective from someone in the Empire

    Catch up reviews!

    One-Hundred and Fifty

So the moral of today's story is... can one pretend there is love there, and hope for it to blossom on it's own; or just accept the inevitable... :(

    One-Hundred and Fifty-One

So Thrawn skirts the topic you would really rather get out the way/avoid at all possible costs. [face_laugh] And now I have the perfect excuse for you having been on Keldabe! :p

    One-Hundred and Fifty-Two

 The fangirl chapter... but it turned out pretty - fangilry... :p

    One-Hundred and Fifty-Three

First you love Edward, then you love Jacob, now Edwa - sorry, wrong fandom. :p The best update in the current story arc Mel! :D

But what is all this chocolate and green tea you keep going on about? o_O

    On Add-ons

Well, it's not as if I have a finished product sitting on my comp waiting to be released, Chilla. [face_blush] But this chapter lends itself to ideas and I have them in my head and that's okay because they don't have to be word perfect there. Maybe you think they don't have to be when written either, but I'd be shamed to hand out porn that's not somehow beautiful to read. [face_not_talking] Do you know how often I have to replay/re-read/beta a scene before it's done? (Too often, I can tell you. *lol*) Actually 152 AU has taken about two weeks to write. Two weeks with that on my mind mostly are not two eassy weeks, I can tell you. [face_laugh] :_|

TRIDU itself is different. I'd write it anyway and if I never get a single comment for the remaining 327 chapters. Writing it is fun and satisfying, even when it's being a bitch. [face_love] Porn is not. That's work. Work I can do but also work that doesn't do anything for me. [face_plain] I could spend my time more enjoyably, more satisfying. So if writing it is not rewarding in itself, I need something else to reward me. [face_thinking]

But no worries. I shall still be venal in the future. [face_whistling] So should you ever come into the happy position when you can afford chocolate, you need only point at the scene you want extended and I will be at it. :D

And I think you have creative minds yourself. :D Here's a Grand Admiral, there's a Mellanna; now go and play. You have all of the GFFA for a playground. [face_laugh]

8-} I am completely mesmerized here!

    Thrawn under the shower.

When I am able to get my wits together I will write a longer reply and sure, I can feed you with ´Aftereight´ as soon as you enter through our front door.

Please do send me the special fan version via PM!

And try not to get into trouble.

Ummmm.....I do not know what to say. Other then WOW. :p

And what is green tea filled chocolate? I have tried to find some of the stuff from you post in your live journal. I ask the employee and I usually get a blank or annoyed look. So I may have to go to Indy or Chicago one of these days.

So the extended cut would be excellent to receive.

Yay, I finally caught up! (I cannot believe I got so far behind...some loyal reader I am :([face_blush])

Mel wants Thrawn love...don't we all. Poor thing. [:D]

Speaking of love, I am loving your story! =D=[face_dancing] And I will clearly have to do a better job of keeping up.

*does not know what green tea filled chocolate is either, btw [face_hypnotized]* Otherwise I would try to find you some. I'm not above bribing authors...errr, giving gifts out of the goodness of my heart for top-notch writing.

Chocolate Note: I am a bit surprised the idea is taking hold  and a bit annoyed o_O because the current add-on is so far badly written smut. *le sigh* I might take the advice of slight inebriation to handle the problem. You may take this link to handle the problem of chocolate. [face_whistling]

Sorry to leave you speechless, Chilla. I like your comments. :( And as I said, so far, you don't want to see the longer version. Trust me.[face_blush]
I don't know. I know what's happening inside my head, but that's just wishfulfiment and often has nothing to do with the proper plot. Let's just hope he has a heart and decides to use it.
Maybe? There's plans to resolve the problem. You'll have to wait a bit, though.[face_mischief]
Oh, you found Merlyn's story. :D

    I like inevitable, Ale. [face_mischief]
Oh, I might still go to Keldabe. Let me think up something. You don't mind the few extra chapters that will add to TRIDU, right? :p
I'm sorry you're not a girl and thus cannot appreciate the chapter. :p But I told you all about the chocolate, so at least that is cleared up.
Btw, who'd Edward? The guy with the strange hands? Sorry, but no crossovers. :p

It is a nice image, Azure, isn't it? Feel free to paint it. [face_laugh] Maybe you can also charge chocolate for showing it. We could be Thrawn's Chocolate Syndicate.[face_laugh]

Well, in that case 'wow' will have to do, serenity.
Follow the link to the chocolate in question. It occurred to me that the stuff is annoyingly difficult to get your hands on. Even worse than Grand Admirals.

Well, you're still here, Thrawn. ;)
We all do? And I thought I was the only one. But I will tell you right now: I'm not gonna share. :p And I am not above writing pwp for chocolate - so who is the worse? ;)

    One-Hundred and Fifty-Four

Get your sorry ass out of bed and do something for the Empire!

Go, go, go! This is not a pleasure cruise!

    Move it!

It was very much too early and I stumbled into the 'fresher with my eyes only half open. My hand reached automatically for the sonic and found it tentatively taped off. With a sigh I turned on the water and soon after dripped all over the floor of my quarters. This was not my fault and his Admiralship's minions could take care of the flood.

Grabbing my duffel bag I stumbled towards the hangars as dignified as I could. My stomach rumbled but I didn't feel like eating. I felt like sulking. I was good at that; I really was. In stubborn silence I got through the start up routine and had the Liberty set into space below the Chimaera. Then I punched in the coordinates for Chazwa. The nav computer took its time to calculate a course and with the pulling of the lever, the stars turned into the gap ridden carpet of hyperspace.

For a second I closed my eyes against the pale blue of it. Then I went to the galley to grumble some more and have some kind of breakfast. I felt ? empty. I should have been relieved or sad or ? something. Sitting at the small table I stared at its top, seeing nothing. My stomach proclaimed its existence. With a sigh I got up to browse through the provisions. I didn't feel like eating. I didn't feel like doing anything and planned to do that for the whole day-long trip if Rukh let me.

?You want breakfast?? I asked him when he entered the galley. And wanted to know what, when he nodded.

    ?Whatever you'll have,? he replied.

?I think not,? I said, looking down at my choice: ration bars, water and a sticky vitamin syrupy kind of drink.

Rukh followed my gaze and agreed. But then he also insisted on preparing his food himself. I felt robbed of the chance to do something useful, and to do something nice fo/>

Sorry to leave you speechless, Chilla. I like your comments. :(

Gomen nasai. :( I just didn't know what to say. I think my inner fangirl has died. [face_worried] I'm trying to revive her right now. Thrawn under the shower... [face_hypnotized]

And I'm glad you like my comments. Longer one this time, I promise!

And as I said, so far, you don't want to see the longer version. Trust me.[face_blush]

Is fine. Post only what you are comfortable with.

Oh, you found Merlyn's story. :D

I get the feeling you are 10 steps ahead of me when it comes to finding Thrawn fanfics.... :p

It was very much too early and I stumbled into the 'fresher with my eyes only half open. My hand reached automatically for the sonic and found it tentatively taped off.

Thrawn shut it off, even though he told you not to use it? o_O Does he think you'll forget about it or does he think you'll forget it on purpose so you won't get pregnant?

I felt like sulking. I was good at that; I really was.

    [face_laugh] Me, too.

In stubborn silence I got through the start up routine and had the Liberty set into space below the Chimaera. Then I punched in the coordinates for Chazwa. The nav computer took its time to calculate a course and with the pulling of the lever, the stars turned into the gap ridden carpet of hyperspace.

Hey, you can fly all on your own! (Rukh does not count) I like how you handled the ship without any problems.

I felt ? empty. I should have been relieved or sad or ? something. Sitting at the small table I stared at its top, seeing nothing.

:( I like your description of how Melanna feels, even though it's sad.

But I can love him. But can he love you? Does that matter? What do you think? You're overreacting. It does matter. It doesn't. You wish. I do indeed. So where does it leave me? Here. Not good enough. Nothing new there. But the plan made headway. With your own head in the way? Don't make me laugh. Didn't intend to. It's not that bad. That only makes it worse. What was that bit about being happy? Oh shut up.

[face_laugh] The discussion back and forth in Melanna's head was great. Well, not really great. You know what I mean. [face_blush]

And you're a shameless fangirl that lost her grip on reality.

Wait, you're talking about me? :p

And a bit crazy for talking to me like that, I couldn't remember the last time I had argued with me so ferociously.

I can assure you you aren't the only one who's had a fight with herself.

Of course, I could always just ask. What were his options?
He could state the truth. ?I'm not, but I am doing my best to make you feel loved so at least you love me and can see this through.? Hearing that spoken aloud would just crumble any resolve I had and catapult me right out of the plan. So it was not going to happen.
He could try something a few notches nicer by saying ?I'm working on it?. Which would be only a bit of a white lie. It was not as if I had given him a lot to work with. I mean, really.
Which left the third option going along the lines of ?Yes, of course.? For which I'd call him a big fat liar. I mean, come on. A Grand Admiral like him and a girl like me? No way. I mean, really? No. Just no.

:( Unfortunately I wouldn't believe him if he said "of course", either. But maybe he can show you that he loves you. You know, "actions speak louder than words". *remains hopeful*

And then there was that fiancée. Gah, she must be the most amazing woman to ever walk the galaxy.

*fangirl nods furiously* I can't see him getting engaged to someone he doesn't like. So she must be amazing. Wonder if you'll ever meet her. Would that be safe? Bet she's the kind of woman who can tear someone apart just by looking at you....

Maybe I should really be more grateful that there was no former wife on Csilla with some kids frolicking around.

That would make matters even more complicated. Guess Mel is still somewhat

Scared, bent, broken ? yes. I straightened my shoulders. That was me. So bring it on. For the game never ends, another song chimed in.* No, it didn't. I smiled because I would find myself a friendly card. Now that was an idea that had potential.

    :D

HMMM.....there are many friendly cards out there. Timothy Zahn did make a couple of comments about chocolate in the 20th anniversary. I am glad that he included it. Melanna should tell Thrawn to reward her since she has been a good girl. :p

The reader pity party gets bigger...seriously, the internal dialogue Mel had was fantastic. :D And add me to the group of those who wonder just what the fiancee was like. I'm not sure if I want to see her or not. Too painful, possibly. [face_thinking]

I got up and stared down the small stove. This is how I will end. And I had seen it coming and accelerated my own downfall and there was really nobody to blame, not even his Admiralship. I fought a sad smirk trying to think what he had thought when I had first produced this overall silly plan.

Scared, bent, broken ? yes. I straightened my shoulders. That was me. So bring it on. For the game never ends, another song chimed in.* No, it didn't. I smiled because I would find myself a friendly card. Now that was an idea that had potential.

*snatches towel from showering Thrawn* That help?[face_batting] I am obesses with the guy. So I have my eyes and ears open. And Merlyn id in the TFU over at the EUC...;)

Might just as well have been Mellanna who knwos herself well enough to realise that with her early mornings and thinking don't go together well. Taping the sonic switch off ithe the openly way to be sure. *le sigh*

Adapted and not even noticing. I think there was something about this before? Lernresistent, die Gute. *lol*

Hm, I will watch his actions with interest. And analyse what I find. Will keep you updated on the state of research. ;) Seduction? Well, would probably be asked to much that he woo Mellanna for a bit. [face_tired]

It's easy to admit you're a hopeless case where Thrawn is concerned - if he's not around. [face_worried] And I am sure I was unable to hide my soft spot from day one. *re-reads* Yup, hopeless case. *lol*

Can I ask Thrawn that? I am not sure if I'd dare. [face_worried] Though the answer would indeed be interesting.

I am old, so the songs are old, too. :p And as always, there's more to it than the bits of lyrics posted here.[face_mischief]

I will chose the most convenient one then, serenity. :D And yes! The chocolate comments! Who'd want to live in a place that knows no chocolate? Wouldn't.[face_not_talking] Hear that, Mr Grand Admiral???

Pity for what, Thrawn? And I will add you. Adn with some patience, you will find out. :D Maybe I can stage a Mellanna/Fiancee deathmatch. [face_laugh]

But being bent and broken is not fun, Azure.:( Can't I be whole again?
*chases stupid Atomic Kitten song from her head*

Will do, Katharina. I am having lots of fun with it right now. [face_blush]

    One-Hundred and Fifty-Five

I found Rukh in the cockpit, looking through some kind of stats. I sat down in the pilot's seat and called up the files of Chawza. ?Thank you for always being there hen I need you,? I said with my eyes on my display. I still knew when he turned his head towards me.

    ?I am here.?

?Yes,? I confirmed. ?As I said.? I looked at him with a smile. ?So, Chwaza.?

?An Imperial Fortress World,? Rukh said. ?You know about those??

I pulled out my files. ?They used to be all over the place, heavily defended planets which were supposed to be as unconquerable as the Titanic unsinkable.? Rukh looked at me. ?It was a ship on my homeworld,? I explained. ?The builders boasted that it could not sink because it was too advanced and well-built. It sank on its maiden trip.?

?You do not think a world can be protected like that??

?No.? I shook my head. ?There is always a way around everything, you just have to find it. You need to stay flexible, adaptable to the attack you're facing. Bricking yourself in doesn't help there.?

?So what do you suggest to keep safe??, he asked.

?I don't know,? I replied. ?That would depend on what you want to keep safe and where your priorities are. Information? If you want to make sure none gets ever lost you need a big system that keeps working with parts of it down, something you cannot shut down or control from a single place. Of course that makes it vulnerable for hacking into it and leaking information.

?If you want to make sure the information doesn't go anywhere ? destroy it. If you still need it, hide it really really well and protect it as invisibly as possible. In a general way it's the same for all stuff, even people, though you might want to keep in mind that people are people if you push them around a lot or hide them away.?

    ?You suggest a diaspora.?

?If you want to make sure the people survive, yes. If you want to make sure their culture survives it takes a bit more work. And if you want the culture to survive as it is now forever, you might as well take a blaster bolt in the head right now. Do your people really want to settle on Wayland??

He took his time before he answered. ?I do not know, I think so.?

    ?You'll/>

?I am one big irritation.? And also slightly irritated. There seemed to be so much going on. And I knew so little about it.

Well you were distracted in a good way.

It seemed as if I couldn't expected to get all information I might find useful delivered. Grumbling about his Admiralship, I started to browse the holonet. Yep, there was a dazzling amount of information right under my nose.

The universe did go on. Was he trying to shelter you.

I tried to think back and see what had kept me from doing this before. But somehow my mind didn't go any further than blue.

    Exactly. [face_love]

Well, if that was no reason to be distracted.

    Very good reason. :p

Hon, since our last skype conversation I have been making sketches. I get back to you when I am 100% satisfied when Thrawn looks finally looks good in a Hugh Heffner like morning robe and playing chess with a man that DEATH himself shows respect in the "Disc world" novels of Terry Prachett.

Wah, and I just had her reanimated! *watches fangirl faint*

I am obesses with the guy. So I have my eyes and ears open.

So am I. I got my copy of "Choices" today. *beams*

Seduction? Well, would probably be asked to much that he woo Mellanna for a bit. [face_tired]

No. You're supposed to seduce him! :p

Can I ask Thrawn that? I am not sure if I'd dare. [face_worried] Though the answer would indeed be interesting.

I'd love to read this entire story from his POV. [face_laugh] Like when he first met you, how you squeezed the living crab out of his arm at the ball.... [face_laugh]

I am old, so the songs are old, too.

Not that old! And I just happen to know their newer songs better than the older ones.

?No.? I shook my head. ?There is always a way around everything, you just have to find it. You need to stay flexible, adaptable to the attack you're facing. Bricking yourself in doesn't help there.?

    Good attitude.

I like how you still tie in Earth-things, like the Titanic.

Oh yes, when, not if. I turned to look at him. ?Or course. If you want to go to Csilla with me, you should visit them before we leave. You might never see them again.?

?That was always the risk,? he told me softly.

?But,? I broke off. Yes, that had been a danger for all his life. Service in the Empire didn't guarantee long life and retirement to watch your grandchildren play. Rather the opposite.

Awww. I like Rukh. And I feel bad that he thinks he can't go back.

?But now you can. Don't you want to??

?My honour is compromised.? It was not necessary for him to elaborate.

    Screw honor!

I did not mention that it might just have been enough to ask Thrawn to get at least some questions.

You should push for more information when you get back.

?He fought them to within an inch to victory, then told them he'd talk to the later and retreated from the shipyards without doing damage, offering them to chose the side that could actually protect them.?

Wow, that's cool. Very Thrawn-like, too. But isn't Belbringi an Imperial system?

?You are a trump, Mellanna. You are not played unless absolutely necessary.?

Eh....I'd call her a joker.... :p But she can definitely change everything.

Grumbling about his Admiralship, I started to browse the holonet. Yep, there was a dazzling amount of information right under my nose. I tried to think back and see what had kept me from doing this before. But somehow my mind didn't go any further than blue.

Gah! Free info and you didn't realize it before. That's frustrating.

But I'd be distracted by "blue", too. [face_hypnotized]

One day I should put my hands around his throat and throttle him a bit for all the things he made me find out for myself. And them some. Just as a precaution.

[face_laugh] Oh, what a happy couple you are. [face_laugh]

In the end I found two news reporting organisations, one of which was rather Imperial, the other leaning towards the Republic. I wished there was an unbiased view onto the whole mess.

Well, did anyone say Karrde? :D

And this is the reason I didn't update here.

I shall excuse you once again. Planning the fate of a galaxy is a worthy reason for not updating. I hope in return you'll forgive me for not replying earlier. *gives a gracious bow and then falls over, thinking about a certain blue person*

He was surely distracing her, serenity.
How much of that was to shelter her, or to keep my unwanted attention out of his business... I think he was taking the easy to way to avoiding meddling Mellannas.

Um, I am not sure Queen of hearts will work. [face_worried] But Mellanna is not me anymore (despite my ongoing pronoun confusion in all author replies) so she might be up to it. But up to getting under Thranw's skin and maybe even into his heart - I doubt he has one. :p

Thrawn is so doomed, Warlord5! [face_laugh]
He's probabyl the only person able to deploy me in a way that helps any. But, looking at the experiecne so far, I would say no, not going to like it much. More likely going to hate it thoroughly again. [face_plain]

    Um, oops. Sorry, Chilla [face_blush]
Choices is fun. Though Pelly struck me as more memorable in the long run. I still get fangirly fits thinking about him in the novel. [face_love]

Oh, me seducing him? Done and done?
There are actually very embarassing snippets of that on my comp. Just so I can get a feeling of what might be going on inside his head. All too much on the induglent side, I'm afraid. [face_blush] I iz hopeless fangirl. [face_blush]

I am from earth and things like that are stuck firmly in your thoughts and mind. When I think 'huge scary monster' Godzilla will always come before a Rancor.:p

Rukh is all Noghri values and traditions. I really like writing him, htough I am mostly not doing him justice.:(

Ah yes... ^.^' Sorry about that. I was all wrong. *heddesk:repeat* The mistake is taken care of. Thanks for telling me. How can one Mel be so stupi... oh, you don't have to answer that.

Yeah, free information. And yes! Didn't I announce him loudly enough last update? :p
And mayb his Admiralship is into asphyxiation games then I can throttle him all I want.

Also, keep an eye on Azure, she's painting blue...[face_mischief] For fangirls' pleasure. [face_devil]

    One Hundred and Fifty-Six

We arrived a Chazwa half a day and a nap later. From above it looked so much like Earth that I had to hold my breath for a strained minute. That was just as well, because it gave the ground control time to call on us. I let Rukh handle the formalities. Maybe it was even good that I didn't stoop to do things like that myself. I was not quite sure how arrogant I was supposed to be. Very, was the likely answer.

?They are going to search the ship, right?? I stuffed all my personal belongings ? which consisted of my pad ? into my bag and dropped it et the top of the ramp.

Rukh didn't have to answer that question. We didn't set down in Iritsa but directly in one of the military outposts. I was tempted to assume it was the biggest or most important one. Seeing how Krennel was accommodated there, it would certainly be the most luxurious.

I checked my uniform a last time as the ramp lowered and sent a last encouraging glance at Rukh. I probably needed that more than him. Having to ignore and snub him for a while would be difficult. I had to be careful. But I had Imperial training and the lor'kina. So I would make use of both.

It was a good decision, because Krennel had dredged up a complete military welcome committee. Or at least something that could pass for one. He was over-egging the pudding for sure. Rows of soldiers and even some stormtroopers lined the landing platform, forming a alley at the end of which Krennel stood with what might have been advisors or adjutants at his side.

I strode across the duracrete a tad faster that procedure allowed sending appreciating looks at the assembled forces. I just hoped I gave the impression of doing this on a regular basis. I was afraid that was how I might end up. I prayed, I wouldn't. When I reached Krennel, I did what was hopefully a sharp />

Choices is fun. Though Pelly struck me as more memorable in the long run. I still get fangirly fits thinking about him in the novel. [face_love]

I'm halfway through and Pelly is great in this! Makes me wish he had gotten a bigger role in TTT, though.

Oh, me seducing him? Done and done?

[face_dancing] Really? Like "done already"? Or "will be done soon"?

There are actually very embarassing snippets of that on my comp. Just so I can get a feeling of what might be going on inside his head. All too much on the induglent side, I'm afraid. [face_blush] I iz hopeless fangirl. [face_blush]

Not only you! [face_blush] And I'd still like to read those snippets. [face_blush]
I'm super excited about the upcoming chat with Tim Zahn.....Remind me to ask him about Thrawn's age, okay?

Rukh is all Noghri values and traditions. I really like writing him, htough I am mostly not doing him justice.:(

I think you're doing very well with him. Can't make him too cuddly. Btw: Will he tell you the end of the Kathithera (ehm...spelling?) story? That one was very interesting!

Ah yes... ^.^' Sorry about that. I was all wrong. *heddesk:repeat* The mistake is taken care of. Thanks for telling me. How can one Mel be so stupi... oh, you don't have to answer that.

I don't think that you are stupid. And I have made one huuuuuge mistake in one of my fics, too, which had me scrambling to save as much as possible.

And mayb his Admiralship is into asphyxiation games then I can throttle him all I want.

Lol, I highly doubt it, considering what Mara and Jorus C'Baoth have tried with their force-chokes.

Also, keep an eye on Azure, she's painting blue...[face_mischief] For fangirls' pleasure. [face_devil]

    I know. [face_dancing]

This chapter was a ton of fun to read, btw!

From above it looked so much like Earth that I had to hold my breath for a strained minute.

Awww! :( Sometimes you haven't thought about something in a while and then a smell or a sight will come and it's all back. Must be really tough facing that planet.

I was not quite sure how arrogant I was supposed to be. Very, was the likely answer.

    C'mon, they are Imps! :D

I had to be careful. But I had Imperial training and the lor'kina. So I would make use of both.

I love how you can call onto the various training you have received now and utilize all of them. That's so cool!

Rows of soldiers and even some stormtroopers lined the landing platform, forming a alley at the end of which Krennel stood with what might have been advisors or adjutants at his side.

Good thing I'm not in your position. I'm not much for military or parades or any pomp. I would have laughed myself silly at the sight of all those Imps, which is a sure way to make myself unpopular.

I just hoped I gave the impression of doing this on a regular basis. I was afraid that was how I might end up. I prayed, I wouldn't.

Seems possible. But visiting troop bases still sounds a lot better than meetings with Moffs.

?At ease, Liaison Morrison,? he replied doing his best not to reciprocate my smile.

[face_laugh] He's such a goner! Wrapped him around your little finger, haven't you? :D Now you just need to figure out how to do that with his Admiralship... [face_whistling]

I relaxed into what looked like ease to the untrained eye.

    Lor'kina?

He offered his arm which I took with impeccable style. Oh yes, I had had lessons with Count Seros alright.

Seros will be so proud! :D

?Thank you, Prince-Admiral. Please rest assured that, should I desire anything, I will call on you.? Gah. I had to reign myself in if I wanted to get out of this with my virtual virginity intact.

[face_laugh] *is rolling on the floor laughing* I can't believe how you always manage to say things like that around Krennel! [face_laugh]

My grin was completely authentic by now, if a bit maniac. Poor Prince-Admiral.

Two things that I really liked in this chapter: 1)your description of your room/new surroundings was reaaaaaaaaalllly good, I could see everything perfectly (and I'm not very good at writing location descriptions, so I'm particularly envious here); 2)the entire conversation with Krennel was fun to read. He's practically dripping with charm, and Mel's responses were amusing, along with us seeing her(your?) thoughts.

Only thing I'm asking, is what exactly is she wearing to warrant a clothes shopping trip? Just a semi-formal bodysuit or something?

    On Full Dress
(Which is what Mellanna is wearing to the dinner.)

As it seems to be a point of confusion.
It is a military term and describes a uniform you wear to formal occasions. It is also called dress uniform. The one with all the brass on it and stuff you do not want to get broken in everyday service. Like soup shoulde- erm bullion epaulettes.

I thought the term was clear since I introduced it for the inauguration. I had Thrawn in full dress, not to mention all assembled Imperials. Though if you'd rather imagine them all dressed up like drag queens... >.<

Have fun with that. I'll get me some brain bleach now. :p

And Pimp!Thrawn pics are Teh Amazing! hypnotized Can't wait to see what you make of that.

So who is pimping who? I must be behind the times. :p

Also, keep an eye on Azure, she's painting blue... mischief For fangirls' pleasure.[face_devil]

    Looking forward to it.

We arrived a Chazwa half a day and a nap later.

Love the description of time in earth terms.

?If they are not up to your expectations, if there is anything amiss,? he looked into my eyes, ?just let me know.?

I was beaming now incapable to stop myself. ?Thank you, Prince-Admiral. Please rest assured that, should I desire anything, I will call on you.? Gah. I had to reign myself in if I wanted to get out of this with my virtual virginity intact. My grin was completely authentic by now, if a bit maniac. Poor Prince-Admiral.

    He is soo toast!

?I admire your commitment to your work, Liaison, but I assure you that for tonight something less formal, something pretty, would have been perfectly acceptable.?

He wants do play dress up. Is the game castle where Melanna conquers all by giving both men a beat down. [face_laugh]

Gods, I loved his blunt approach. He really still clubbed a woman over the head to drag her off into his cave. ?You are such refreshing company,? I declared. ?No comparison at all to the Grand Admiral.?

Thrawn would win the cave men competition any day. Grunt me Krennel I take her, No me Thrawn I club you both and she go with me. She needs to throw in things that Thrawn could do for her. Then again she may have to club him over the head to get what she wants.

I leant back as well, closing my eyes as I smiled. I would have quite some fun slagging off that alien upstart.

Wonder how Thrawn will take it? [face_praying] Hope he has a sense of humor.

And this is the reason I didn't update here.

Your forgiven looking forward to next week.
