Tried to paint some more this weekend but it was so humid/muggy my compressor kept shooting out a constant stream of water.

So I grabbed Nicki's sketchbook and drew while we watched football.

Star Wars In Concert will be in Nashville, Sunday, December 13. Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 24.

So far, there is no mention of it coming to Memphis.

Has anyone heard if the Star Wars concert is good? Would it be worth driving to Nashville?

 

We're a real lively group lately, aren't we?

Apparently we missed a Star Wars event at Davis-Kidd. It's so nice to find out about these things on TFN's main page and in the Commercial Appeal after they happened. The 501st was there, but they didn't bother telling us about it, though. So much for reciprocity, huh?

BTW, gang- I'll have the SMT Vader banner up at the show, and have some of the post cards out. Maybe that'll get us a bit more exposure for the club.

Timmy- I'm hanging the show on Thursday after work (4pm'ish). Do you still want to figure out how to light it? Can we go high in the middle? Don't know if we'll have room to go in front of the paintings.

 

A fellow JCCer is going to New Orleans this Sunday and I was just telling him all the things to do, like the aquarium, Jackson Mall, Bourbon Street and Pat O'Brien's, Cafe Dumonde, ghost and graveyard tours...and now I want to do, dammit. I love New Orleans around Halloween.
