It just dawned on me that the first teaser trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story will likely air during the Super Bowl, Feb 4. Others I'm betting will make their first appearance during said broadcast:

The Predator

 

I really wish they would just delay Solo to December and keep the new tradition alive. I mean, Disney has a Marvel Studios production and Lucasfilm production coming out in the same month, just three weeks in-between their releases. Give people time to still digest TLJ and after a month of its home media release, then release a teaser for Solo. Have a special behind the scenes look for the film at SDCC and release the final trailer in October.

I should really go to bed. I've been up for twenty hours with only four hours of sleep from the previous the night.

 

I agree with this. I mean, not necessarily the 'you going to bed part', but the other part.

Granted, I'm neither here nor there with Solo (what's next, Rebo: A Star Wars Story? ...actually, make that) but I too just assume that the month of May be left to the era of Lucas' original saga, Disney/Lucasfilm in turn recognizing their own since-established time of year for all things new Star Wars; let it now be, as it has been, the holiday season for today's fandom generation. Besides, May is now sorta home of the Marvel 'big event' franchise. Don't collide worlds.

 

I'm going to have to pass. 1-6 + CW + TCW for me.

Oh, and the Holiday Special of course.
