conclusion from most: Justice League sucks

 

Why you worried? The worst thing one UK critic could muster is that it's not as good as Batman & Robin. That leaves lots of room for it to be really good.

Had to scroll back up to see if I was reading about a DC movie, or whether this was another Avengers movie...

 

I sometimes wonder if people reading our unorthodox opinions think we're just trolling.

 

I know your post was not related to mine at all B3 but what I am about to say fit's in context so...

I think I'm just not going to bother watching super-hero movies anymore. I don't like the bigger=better thing they have going on.

I can live with my simple Batman stories: chaotic clown torments city with a chemical weapon known as joker toxin. A freakish guy with a large nose runs for mayor. I like those kind of films.

Superheoes/villains from other planets...no thanks.

Works for Superman..but not others I feel.

Not to piss people off or be contrarian (like with TCW) I'm just not cut out to where cinema is going.

I'll stick with my old DC stuff from now on.

 

I will be seeing JL on Tuesday. To say I’m intrigued at where it falls in my superhero film rankings is putting it mildly.

 

Oh but the conversation is all of a piece.

 

Happy Life Day everyone

Finally had more than 2 minutes of spare time since Saturday. But oh has this been a week. I'm working backstage for our theater production so that has been taking up a lot of time with classwork too and whatnot. Plus I managed to get super sick Sunday and Monday with a horrible fever and have had a cold since then, though its mostly gone now thankfully. Then on top of that our campus is in a craze as we have a literal arsonist on campus that has set 3 fires in one of the residence halls in the past week (and there was a rumor something really bad was going to happen one night but didn't actually thank goodness) and now the FBI is actually helping investigate. Oh I can't wait for Thanksgiving break.

 

Oh my god.

 

What you need is a couple hours to watch Holiday Special. That'll get things balanced.

 

I wanna know her reaction to ROTS.

 

Pretty much my thoughts right now.

I don't live in that residence hall thankfully but I know quite a few people who do. The poor kids having to get woken up 3 times at 2am and not get back inside until almost 7am. Its annoying I know some people had slept in one of the school buildings one night since they were so tired and cold. Its crazy for sure around here.
