We don't know Boga died. All we saw in the film was that he fell into the water just like Obi-Wan.

 

I keep telling myself the same thing. I hope one day I will actually believe it.

 

Until you see it on the DVD, you can only assume Boga, like his rider, survived the fall and they were saved because of the water.

 

Sap, I've seen the movie 50 times.

Boga dies. Boga was shot in the stomach. He absurb the blow.

Seen it in slow motion and you can see a big hole on Boga side as he's fallen.

 

Doesn't Boga die in the novel?

The DVD overrules what happens in the novel and has always been the case. Any scenes added into the DVD, not as a separate feature but added into the film, overrides what was shown in the theater.

 

I don't think there's a deleted scene that really says, is there. Does the screenplay?
