the role of the clones when hunting down the jedi

did vader personally hunt down and kill all the jedi or did he use the clones to help kill the jedi as he did in the temple. it seems to me that prolly after the jedi spread throughout the galaxy some of them would ban together and vader didnt want to be caught off guard if he came to a planet and had to take on 2 or 3 at a time

Even if Vader would have liked to kill them himself he real needed some help.
