His heart was pounding. He couldn't take it anymore. Hermit slowly leaned in and he felt Cam's tender lips upon his. Flying was his life. He never felt better than when he was in the cockpit of a snubfighter. Until now.

Cambria's heart skipped a beat as Hermit slowly leaned in and brushed his warm lips upon hers. She cupped his cheek with her gloved hand and returned his kiss longingly.

"A perfect kiss for a perfect night," Cam sighed, her head resting contently on his shoulder.

Hermit smiled. "I couldn't have said it better myself. The best part is, the night is still young."

He took her gloved hand, kissed it again and looked into her eyes. "Is there anything you would like to do m'lady? Anything your heart desires."

The Golden Hall and surrounding

I smiled as warmly and with as much mirth as I could muster on an empty stomach. I'm all for meeting new people and catching up, but one can only go so long without food, and I was swiftly nearing that event horizon. I spoke up, hoping to catch someone's attention. "Okay, food? Yeah? Food! Let's go!"

I ushered people along as best I could, but my heart wasn't really in it. I slowly began to step away from the group, following one of the many aromas wafting throughout the building. Hopefully we'd be able to find something palatable and filling...

The Entryway to the Villaro Bar from the Gardens

Ramza noticed his breathing was irregular.

It seemed an odd thing to dwell on, considering the circumstances. There he had been, sitting contently in the gardens, when out of nowhere four ravenous finals had leapt out at him and attacked full force. His suit was tattered and frayed, revealing the stillsuit beneath. His blue-in-blue eyes were more intense than usual as he wiped the last remnants of sweat and blood on his brow. Entering the bar, he made sure to deactivate his red lightsaber. The finals had fought hard, true, but in the end Ramza had prevailed magnificently.

Oblivious to the bizarre amalgamation of science fiction settings he was exuding, Ramza strolled up to the counter and ordered a hard Correllian Ale with melange spice, which he downed almost effortlessly. Throwing away the last remnants of his ruined suit, he adjusted the red bow tie that now sat atop his fully exposed stillsuit, paradoxically intact, before clipping the lightsaber to his belt. Then he decided to get some food.

Ramza proceeded to work his way through the rather winding pathways of the hotel in search of edibles...

Well, this is getting awkward, Anne thought to herself, heading back towards the serving tables to get some food; her hot chocolate was gone, and the smells from the feast had roused her appetite. She'd seen several people she recognized by now, but all were already engrossed in conversations with others Anne did not know, and strangers, even in a social setting such as this, made Anne nervous. She'd never been the social butterfly type, and while she was usually okay with that, there were times when she disliked being so overwhelmingly shy.

As she cautiously moved through the crowd, being careful not to bump into anyone, she spotted one familiar face that was not surrounded by unfamiliar ones, sitting on a stool at the bar. At least, she was pretty sure she knew him... "Lukes_Apprentice?"

Hotel entrence

IC: Darth Cadaverous

He wanted to come in unannouced, and he was very pleased that no one looked his way. He was not much of a Christmas goer, but being around for a year now, he decided to come. His shirt was made from the second best maker, the buttons where small green emralds, that snapped together, than the more traditional buttons. His slacks were black as the night, but still had a shine to them. His jacket was a bit longer than the traditional "tailed" jackets for it went down to the back of his knees, so it tended to flow out as he walked. Though he could not resist not bring his "walking" stick.

As he entered the main lobby, an unsurpressed humbug silently slipped out, and then smiled at the soft music coming from the other room. However, another sound of music caught his ear, and he turned towards the stairs. "Ah, now that is music to my holiday ears." Silent Night was being played somewhere, and he wanted to find it. He did not care for the dance, for he could not dance anything special, except the waltz, and he did not have anyone to do that with, at least not here. He sighed, and silently strode towards the music, then he stopped and looked long and hard at those he could see from where he was at. "Those smiling faces, and loving hearts, that my son is true Christmas. No one fighting the other for their beliefs, or what group they belong too." A slow smile came to his face and a small tear to the eye.

The music was calling him in, and so he went in just to look around and see who where here. There were surprising a lot of people here in the ball room. He strode out of the way, and into the shadows, which was hard to do, however he had learned to not say a word anyone, or be in the way of anyone and that tended to make him almost invisiable to many. Letting his feet do the walking, he made it to the band, and cocking one ear their direction, he listened to the music.

"Yes... The night is still young, isn't it?" Cambria giggled softly, looking up through her dark lashes and remembering how wonderful his lips felt on hers.

Hermit took her gloved hand, kissed it again and looked into her eyes. "Is there anything you would like to do m'lady? Anything your heart desires."

Oh, if you only knew, Cam thought. Heat rising in her cheeks again. "Though I'd love nothing more than to stay like this in your arms all night, I think we should make our way back to the party before we are missed," she offered with a tender smile, hoping he would understand.

"Life's been crazy, but good," Thrawn replied. "I'm at a new school now, and I have three semesters til I graduate." Sipping at her drink(there was a hint of cinnamon in there, she guessed) "RP wise, I haven't done too much," she blushed.

IC:Grey Wanderer

Slowly, methodically and even casually, he followed. Always at a safe distance. It had taken sometime to find her, but he finally did. Her voice and laughter were distinctive and familiar to him, so it was not by sight, but by sound that he'd found her at last.

Dressed in an oversized grey hooded robe, the grey wanderer's countenance remained hidden. Some did look his way as he walked slowly by, but quickly dismmissed him, as there was nothing identifiable to recognize. The revelry all around was far more interesting and entertaining than his drab appearance. Good. That was exactly how he wanted it. Though he had to damit, that His Imperial Hammer had done it again. The place was bright, alive and festive! A success without a doubt.

But the grey wanderer was here to see her, as he'd been away for a very long time in the land of Azeroth. She was important to him, so he'd come this far. And now, she was sorrounded by well wishers and revelrers. Hmm... what to do.

I shadowed smile spread across his face as simple plan formed. He'd simply walk past her and move nearby. One as sensitive as she would certainly take notice, of that he was sure. And so, the grey wanderer moved. Slow, but steady.

As he approached her position, his smiled widened as he finally took full notice of her costume. It was a female version of a wise man, thus a wise woman. He thought it very appropriate.

'I think I was a wise man last year'. He mused with some amusement. But alot had changed since that time.

One of the servers walked close by and he noticed the hesitation, but he server quickly recovered and offered him a drink.

The grey wanderer lifted a hand and shook his hooded head. "No, thank you." he said softly. "I'm just passing by."

The server smiled and attempted to look inside the hood, but the grey wanderer expected this and moved past before anything could be revealed. He chuckled to himself as he left the server behind and finally passed her. Hearing her laugh almost caused him to laugh as well, but he merely smiled and moved on a short distance away, just with enough party goers between them to make things interesting.

As he pretended to look at the various dishes before him, he slowly turned his head and looked over. Eyes set on the laughing wise woman, and a knowing smile across his face.

"Though I'd love nothing more than to stay like this in your arms all night, I think we should make our way back to the party before we are missed," she offered with a tender smile, hoping he would understand.

Hermit knew she was right. Their friends would be missing them soon. Reluctantly, he stood to his feet and took her hand again as she did the same. "You're right of course." Then, he smiled. "But first things first."

He took her in his arms and gave her another passionate kiss. This time he wanted to make sure there could be no mistake about his feelings for her. As they parted, he smiled and gestured back the way they had come. "Shall we?"

IC: Darth Cadaverous

After listening to the band, he started to watch the people slowly move towards the great smelling food. He stood and took a deep sniff. Air slightly whistled through his nose, and he rubbed it. He was slightly depressed that prj1 was not able to make it the party. However he had learned many years ago, that the force had to be bent to ones will, not let loose, that was the Jedi way. He looked to his left and out the window door and saw snow lightly falling to the ground. Turning to the door, he quickly opened it and stepped outside onto the balcony.

After shutting the door, he stepped to the rail and looked out into nothingness. He let the wind gently blow his coat tails flap in the night. Looking down, he could see people coming and going, and sighed lightly. Darth Cadaverous wiped the small pile of snow off the rail and watched it drift down. He turned around to watch those who were still dancing or making their way to the dinning hall. Being Diebtic, he cared little for the sugery treats that they offered. He shook his head, "A Sith that is border line Diebtic, what kind of world do we live in that it can not be beaten." Again he sighed, and smiled. He needed a hacker that can work miricals with computers, but he knew none.

Turning around again to face the darkness and looked out.

Hermit took her in his arms and gave her another passionate kiss. This time he made it perfectly clear his feelings for her. As they parted, he smiled and gestured back the way they had come. "Shall we?"

Cambria felt completely intoxicated by that kiss. Her whole body tingled and her head spun. Holy stars... He's a good kisser. She slipped her gloves off, tucking them neatly into his tuxedo pocket, then entwined their fingers together. "Okay... but slowly. I want to enjoy you alone for as long as I can," Cam smiled back, her heart full of joy.

IC: Brutus

Brutus enters the GFM Hotel and steps into the lobby. Brutus looks around a bit to admire the beauty of the room. Then Brutus looks at his watch. He knew his date was supposed to meet him soon. Brutus hoped that he looked alright in the tuxedo he was wearing. While waiting, Brutus begins to meander around the room looking at all the pictures hanging off the walls.

Ree (When she arrives)

 

IC: Ree

Ree runs up the steps of the Hotel knowing she is late. She hoped Brutus wouldn't be too mad. She hurried through the doors, showing her ticket, then walked over to the cloaking desk to hand in her duffle coat.
She then brushed the snow of her black shirt-dress and straightened the red sash tied around her middle. Comfortable now, she made her way to the ballroom, her heels clicking on the marble floor.

She spotted Brutus looking at pictures on the wall.

"Hey Brutus! You look very dashing in your tuxedo!", she said with a grin.

"Hey Brutus! You look very dashing in your tuxedo!"

Brutus turns around and sees Ree approaching him wearing a wonderful outfit.

"Um, Thanks." Brutus replied blushing a little. He recovers from the embarresment and extends his arm. "May I take your arm and escort you to the festivites Ree?"

"May I take your arm and escort you to the festivites Ree?" Brutus asked the gorgeous, long-legged Jedi Master. (OOC: )

"Yes you may kind sir!", Ree replied, getting into the whole them of the Christmas Ball.

Arm in arm, they entered the ballroom. Ree was dazzled! The decorations were gorgeous and there were lights everywhere.

"Wow, this is so cool!", she said, forgetting her formal get-up for a second. She turned and grinned at Brutus, getting hyper and excited with all the decorations, music, people and present company.

"So what do you wanna do now?" she asked Brutus.

"So what do you wanna do now?"

"Well," Brutus answered. "Would you like to dance?"

IC: Ree

"Would you like to dance?" Brutus asked Ree.

Ree groaned inside. She didn't really like this formal type of dancing. But she felt it was rude to refuse.

" Yeah ok. But only a little bit ok? I don't like dancing too much, and I might start getting grumpy", she said as she grinned goofily.

She sighed as they made their way to the dancefloor.

Brutus began walking with Ree to the dance floor. "We could go do something else then." Brutus said. "It doesn't matter to me. I just enjoy the festivity of it all." Brutus stops just before the dance floor starts and looks at Ree. "You choose."

M_M took the offered drink and sipped it. It tasted good, he would have to get the recipe. "It is really hard to play in more then a couple RP's. I know from experience, I am in at least six. At believe you me, that is a pain."

Villaro Bar

Gunny sat on his bar stool, staring at the wall opposite him. The wood that made up the wall was finely-finished and shone in the light of the Bar. Several people milled around, casting very faint shadows on the wood finish. Turning his head, he looked outside, where there was a patio overlooking the fountain and the gardens. Ordering a hot chocolate, for he felt a little cold, Gunny made his way out of the Bar and out onto the outdoor seating area.

Taking a sip, he looked down at all of the people milling around in the gardens. It was certainly a fine night for a get-together; holiday cheer was in the air, and the hot beverage felt good as it went down his throat. The perfect combination, and he also had a great seat for general observation of the beautiful gardens.

As he leaned over the rail, and looked down, he saw someone he knew,and a crazy cruel smile crossed his face. Temptation was growing in his soul. So he moved back and gathered some of the nice snow and placed it onto the rail. Then took one more look over the rail and smiled broadly. With no more thought, he pushed the six inches of snow over the rail and towards Gunny who was sitting below.

Still leaning, he called down to him and with a very large smile apologized to Gunny. "Sorry about that, I did not relieze you were there. Wait there, and I will come down to sit there also, if you do not mind." He waited for his reply.

Covered in Snow

Gunny had just been covered with snow, and DC had appeared at the same time. At least his hot chocolate was still warm, because he certainly was anything but. DC had just asked if he could sit down at the table. Gunny said "If there's no more snow where you're at, then yes."
