    The RPF Time Redistribution Service
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need

In accordance with The Community Initiative, your advocates have established the RPF Time Redistribution Service.

The purpose of this thread is to solve a very elemental problem. How are RPers that are blessed with an excess of time able to best serve the Community? If the problem is that "timed class" use their efforts to further themselves, and in the process create community divisions, what do these people now do with their time under the new RPF philosophy?

The solution is quite simple... write for others and for the Community!

    Here's how it works:

RPF society has two classes, time rich posters and time poor posters. This inequality of social resources can be abolished in the following manner:

1.) The Time Poor will sign up in this thread, and a list will be maintained of those people who are in need of more time in the RPF. If you want to do something on these boards but cannot, feel free to sign up onto the list. Under the community initiative, you will not be judged or looked down upon for doing so. You are the victim, and this service is the solution.

2.) The Time Rich, who have more time than what they need, can see the users in need of help, and can ask them what projects they need done. Perhaps they have a game that needs updating, or a post that needs writing. These projects can also be posted in step one by the time poor.

3.) The Time Rich, working towards the benefit of the collective, will complete the needed project and will PM the time poor their finished posts. PMing is essential in this process, as the Time Poor must post their own original projects. A whole-sale contracting out of effort maintains the time hierarchy by increasing the time rich's notoriety through their posts. The efforts of the time rich then must either be constrained to this thread, or preferably conducted through the total secrecy of PM.

4.) The Time Poor will then put up the PMed, donated post and their efforts/games will be subsequently strengthened. In this process, the community shall also be subsequently strengthened.

Our ultimate goal is for this list to be diminished to nothing! When there are no posters in need of time, then equality has been achieved. RPers, in the spirit of The Community Initiative, should seek to work on the projects of this list before creating their own commitments. The well-being of the community, as gauged through this list, should be the first priority of all users.

What about those of us honored oldbies who, although not currently possessed of said time in the RPF, have vast reaches of time dating back to distant antiquity?

You would not seize that time for the purposes of others, would you? Are you simply a grave robber?

    I belong in a museum!!

...err, wait, that didn't at all come out right.
