Edmonton The RPG thread... Looking for dates to get together for BerX's campaign.

Yeah, we're still doing this on the 17th, but this is for the session after. The more time we're given to plan then the better the chances we'll get together again sooner.

 

ahhh, good thinkin'. I can make it on the 3rd or 4th but not the weekend after or before.

 

How's the 4th sound for the session after this?

 

I work until 2000 the night of the 4th.

 

Do you work that late and could you make it on the 3rd, Troy?

 

Sundays are usually tragically bad for me.

 

I couldn't make it on the 4th... that is a monday, and I have the kids on monday nights. The 3rd would work though I think.

 

This might sound quite unusual, but would it be at all possible to try and do this on a weeknight? I mean, it wouldn't be any different (time-wise) from any of your Games Night's, John.

 

Weeknights would work fine for me, as long as they aren't monday, tuesday or thursday... Although I can get around the thursday thing for a week if need be (it's only hockey)

 

I'd prefer that, myself. At least during the summer.

 

Okay, that opens things wide up. How does Wednesday the 6th sound?

 

What time is this at on Friday? If no time has been decided upon, how does 6:30pm sound? And Troy, can you PM me your address again? I am not sure I remember exactly where you live...

Oh! And, as always, this is a "bring your own snacks" affair. Additionally, Rachel and I will have had supper by then, so everyone will have to either eat beforehand or bring money to get something.

 

Well I am sorry guys, but I am not sure if I am going to be able to make it tommorow night... Mom isn't doing so well right now. I am going to have to play it by ear...

For now we'll assume this is still go. I'll keep checking back through out the day and unless someone posts by about 3 pm that this is off or calls me, then we'll assume we're going ahead.

If John can't make it maybe we can get together for some mini's instead?

 

Losing one person would bring us back to 2 again. We've cancelled it for that already.

Plan to bring mini's and books, and we can decide which one to play based on whether or not John can make it.

Dammit I was going to get my notes printed off at my sister's work, but she buggered off for the day. Now I have to run all the way into town so I can get it done at staples. Should've just done it when I was in town.

Guys, sorry about not being there yet....we have had some crap luck the past few days. To top it off the builders in our neighbourhood accidentally cut our outside telephone wire so now it rings when you call here but we get dead air and it doesn't ring on this end. It messed with the internet, the alarm, the phone. what a headache to deal with, too. The Telus guy finally arrived twenty minutes ago. Hopefully he can get this going soon. Especially since they said, " oh, he will be there in the morning"....yeah right. I stayed up after night shift to wait for this guy and he doesn't come. I have had about two hours sleep since 2:00pm yesterday. Sorry, but had to vent and Christine is not home from work yet so I have no wheels. I really don't think I should be driving, I am pretty tired. But if you guys check this I would be more than willing to have you guys over here tonight. I know you guys are already there but I would have no problems hosting tonight. I will PM Troy with my phone number if you guys do want to play here. I just think it's a little dangerous to drive when this tired. Give me a call and I am assuming that the phone line is fixed when you read this.

 

I checked with Lee and I'm pretty sure I mentioned this to John: Barring any cancellations we'll have our session on Wednesday the 22nd.

We're likely going to have it at Troy's at about 6:00pm.

Thanks to Troy for putting up with me and finally getting to play a few games of mini's with me..
