I know I'm a little behind the times but I thought I'd mention this anyway.
Last night I heard for the first time Wierd Al Yankovic's 1999 spoof of The Phantom Menace, "The Saga Begins", sung to the tune of "American Pie".
Very nicely done and funny of course, but it didn't look anything like him. (Short hair mostly and no glasses or moustache)

I still think that parody is Weird Al's best. I think it's genius, and the video is very funny, adding more to the story than before. Al does a credible Obi-Wan, really. :)

There are nine billion parody songs out there on the 'Net, but he still reigns supreme in my eyes. Although... have you seen this?

    Star Wars Rhapsody

It's the well known filk of Bohemian Rhapsody, accompanied by illustrations from that brilliant fan artist, TragicLad. :) (I might be a fan.) :)

I'll have to acquaint myself with the song it goes with. Without the tune in my head I can't get a good rhythm going. I do like the art work. Thanks for the link.
