THE SAUSAGE GAME - RMFF vs FF-UK

Welcome to the inaugural SAUSAGE GAME.

For those who are not familiar with the game, here are the rules


Two chapters fight it out. Each chapter picks 4 players and each of those players will play the players from the other chapter (ie everyone plays 4 games)

It's a 2 player game, consisting of 5 rounds. Each player is given a virtual sausage weighing 100 grams. In each round, the players must cut of a piece of their sausage and PM me the weight of the piece (ie they choose an amount). Whoever's piece weighs more wins the round, simple as that. This then happens a further 4 times, but obviously each player then has a smaller sausage to cut

Should each player cut off the same amount, then the next round is worth double. Each player must have some sausage at the start of a round, and no sausage at the end of the 5th round.

SCORING

A 3-2 victory earns 1 point. A 4-1 victory earns 2 points. A 5-0 victory is impossible

After everyone has played their 4 games, whoever has the most points gets colours for a week!

Each of you has been given a sausage (the remaining weight is in the brackets after your name.

So each of you must cut off a virtual piece of your sausage and PM me the weight. Don't forget, you must still have some sausage left by the 5th turn

 

Hmmmm...how much to cut. How...much...to....cut? *rubs hands deviously and waves his sausage around*

 

BTW, what kinda sausage is this? Italian? Polish? German? Wiki says there are over 470 types of sausage in the UK alone. Should I be worried about getting squirted in the eye with sausage juice when I make my cut, or is this more of the dried and cured variety?

It's called psychological warfare! Lrn2Intimidate? This is why "we" lost the war.

That, and "we" hadn't learned about a little something called "camouflage" yet. There's probably other reasons, too. Like, the lack of tea.

 

That'll happen when all the tea's been tossed into the ocean.

We should have done this on the Pancakes & Waffles board.

Perhaps I shall use a lightsaber, so the piece will come off already cooked...

Just realized that I need verification of something...

In each round, the heavier piece wins. By "piece" you mean the piece you REMOVE...not the piece that's left over, correct?

 

I just had to click on the link and read about all of the sausages. Now I am starving. *sigh*

Birr removed a mammoth 17g from his sausage, but Zoom storms ahead removing a whopping 22g!!!!!!

So the score in that game is....

to be fair this time zone thing works really well for Zoom and I.

We shall fight in the kitchens, we shall fight in the dining rooms, we shall fight on the breakfast table and at the supper table, we shall fight in the pubs; we shall never surrender.

 

For the record, it's been 9 hours since I made my first cut. I think Spike may have wussed out....

 

He doesnt even have the time change as an excuse. Its barely 6:30 there.

 

He's not logged on since the game started, give him a chance!!

BUT

The 2nd round of Zoom vs Birr has been completed


ZOOM has made a cut of..........23g

BIRR has made a cut of..........2g!!!!!!!!

So a crushing win for Zoom in this round, but a massive loss of sausage (or lossauge) for the last 3 rounds. Birr needs to win all 3 to take the game. Zoom just needs one more.
