    Round 6 Summary:

    Loser?s Bracket:
Game 1: The Saber Masters (SaberLeader)[4] squeak out a win over Free Kobe (Darth-Horax)[3]

Now is the part we have to say good-bye to another great team and its GMs. Please honor Free Kobe:

Darth Horax, you have fought well, but it came down to the team vote, and I am sorry my friend, it did not fall in your favor. You proved to be a great GM, team selection seemed to work well for you in the 12th spot, even earning yourself a bye for a great overall record.

We would not be here if it were not for you, so thanks for your creation of such a great game, and thanks for playing it as well as anyone else who has played the first 4 installments. You put your money where your mouth was, and even though you did not win, coming in third is not small feat. This was the hardest Draft yet, the GMs are getting really good, and you played it like a seasoned pro, not a rookie. You were beaten bya better team, but not by much.

    **************************************************

Now on to Round 7, THE FINALS, between two amazing teams: The SaberMasters, led by the solid SaberLeader, his first time in the Finals, and UNDEFEATED The Unified Force, led by her highness herself, Gaeri.

This being a double elimination tournament, SaberLeader must win here to bring this match to the final elimination round. Will SaberLeader prevent Gaeri from winning The Second Edition of the 2004 Draft undefeated, or will Gaeri show SaberLeader why she was honored with three byes this draft alone. Who will be in the winner?s circle?. Let?s find out!

    LET?S GET READY TO RUMBLE

    Round 7:

    THE FINALS:
The Unified Force (Gaeri) vs. The Saber Masters (SaberLeader)

GMs, you have until Friday Afternoon at 4:37 EST (1:37 Board Time ) to submit your numbers.

    Thanks, Good Luck and

May the Force be With you

Numbers are in. The Finals are about to begin. As always, the number order of the battles was determined by an on-lin randomizer. We are starting off with a gang-buster of a fight?

Get ready, GMs, Judges - here we go!

    THE FINALS: Battle 1

The First number called is 6!

A very exciting semi-final matchup. Way to pull out the victory SaberLeader. It is going to be tough to pull out two consecutive victories against Gaeri though.

    Hett/Hett Trump vs Ki-Adi-Mundi

Verdict: This is a awesome fight! Obviously, Ki is better than either of these 2 individually. Can he take them together? Well, Ashard is a furious fighter who can use 2 blades WITH SKILL, and Sharad isnt half bad either. Both of the Hett's are very quick with the blade, Ki not so much, as I see him as being more prescision based than anything else as a fighter. When it comes right down to it, I cant close my eyes and see Ki being able to block 3 sabers at once from fighters of this magnitude, especially with the cohesion of the trump. The trump wins.

    Winner: Hett/Hett Trump

A very good matchup. Didn't Mundi train one of them? If he did I think he would pull out the win. Actually I'd take him either way. I think he is just way better than both of them individually and could withstand there assault until he defeated one of them. Mundi is under rated in these drafts. He is one of the best of the entire prequel era while these two are average at best in my opinion for the prequel era.

Yeah, Ki trained Asharad for the first half of his life.

Basically, since these 2 are so fast, I just dont think Ki is athletic enough to block in essence (sp), 3 blades at the same time. To do that you would have to be very quick. He just doesnt strike me as that athletic or fast. Just imo of course

The Match-Up - Sharad Hett and A'Sharad Hett vs. Ki-Adi-Mundi

Well, Ki-Adi is indeed tough, but this trump is just too much for him to be able to take down. It would be close, but the winner is obvious.

    The Winner: Hett Family Trump

Love it or Hate it, that's my pick.

The Match-Up - Saesee Tiin vs. Echuu Shen-Jon and Tyvokka

Well, we just saw a really good trump take out a high profile player; can this mediocre trump take out an equally high profile player? I don't think so. While the team of Echuu/Tiin consists of two Jedi Masters, they have little to no history together, which would mean it would be difficult for them to fight together, which you would need to do in order to defeat someone of Tiin's standings. I just can't see myself giving the trump the victory here. Tiin takes the win.

    The Winner: Saesee Tiin

Love it or Hate it, that's my pick.

    Let's Get it On!!

P.S. I'm off for now, I'll be back on later tonight.

Saease Tin vs Echuu Jon/Tyvokka Trump

Verdict: I concur with Corran on this one. Unlike the previous trump, neither of these two jedi are very fast and unlike the previous trump, has little cohesion needed to take out a player of Tin'S caliber.

    Winner: Saease Tin

I think it's Say-see Tin. That's how I hear it in my head.

But it sounds far too normal for my tastes. :p

Heck, they could barely decide how to pronounce Han's name.
