Just bought a DVD-ROM at Best Buy for $20! Actually, it was 59.99 with $40 of mail in rebates. I'm watching TPM right now!

Now for the next upgrade-sound card.
Should I get an SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum or just go with the Audigy Gamer?

KW, this is not much of a social thread. There are few posts in the past few days. Not good.

I like soundtracks, classical, and most forms of rock.

This has always been a slow social thread. I have always attributed that to the nature of the people that post in this forum.

-- Has burly man named 'Mad Dog' take my opinions at the door and hang them up --

    Why thank you.

I'm new, and I'm generally just looking for people to make friends with. ;) So what's up?

Well, I'm nursing a pint tonight. If you want to find out why, check out my thread in the JCC about a house two doors down from me exploding.

Oh, and if my posts don't make sense tonight...you know why.

After something of a slowdown, it has picked up a lot in the past few days.

I think the admin here the most is doing his best, but even he has troubles sometimes.

Ay, they can abound, unfortunately. But I agree that whoever the admin is for this forum is, he's doing a fine job.

Not one TFU thread on page 1. Kudos for keeping them down! ;)

I just had to pop in to comment on how great I think the Senate is...what a terrific idea!

I'm very suprised and pleased with the level of dialogue that goes on in the streams. There are some exceedingly bright, educated, clever folks postin' here, which is amazing.

Thanks for starting the Senate, JC....keep up the good work.

I very grateful to LB as well, I remember when we had to try and talk about this stuff in the JCC. I left for a while, and came back to find something actually happened because of a petion.

However, I find that today we have many higher forms of trolling, flaming, and stupidness. I am still wondering what happened to the supposed Christian majority that was holding down the leftists. If anything, this forum has been bombarded with hard line anti-American european leftists that like to compare Bush to Hitler, much like the German version of John Ashcroft. If he said that about ANY high ranking member of one of our allies, he would be forced to resign.
Sorry if that was too opinionated, I just don't know where else to say it.

You realize, of course, that some have the opposite opinion, which is that the Senate has a great number of conservatives?
