Yes I do realize that many think there are more conservatives here, but I don't see it. Mabey the minority of non-conservatives here are just more outspoken.

hehehe, that's too funny, Coolguy. I actually do believe the opposite: At times, I feel bombarded by the "Christian coaltion" here.

But then if everyone agreed on everything, how boring would this place be? How boring would this Nation be?! ;) blah! What a concept!

Cheveyo if everyone agreed on everything there would have been world peace...

Nobody did answer me what an 8 track is, I am young, so I probably missed it or was it never released in Europe? ?[face_plain]

An 8 track is kinda like a cassete player, actually its the precursor to it. Only you can't rewind it. On most you can press a button and skip to a later part of the cassete. And you stick it in the player like a nintendo game.

I've actually found a lot of liberal people here. Actually, I think they are just Bush haters. Not that Im terribly impressed with him. But the demographic of this forum is somewhat younger for the most part, so thats to be expected.

But then I do see some far-righters 'round here, too.

Every now and again I try and wave the Republican flag and let people know we're not all tobacco pushing, gun toting, fundamentalists.

I carry my gun, I'll have you know. Toting's for sissies. ;)

What does the Republican flag look like?

I imagine it has a huge elephant on it.

Well, I'm back. I returned yesterday from a nice, short road trip up to Niagara Falls to Virginia and Washington DC. We missed the ACC protests against the IMF and the World Bank by one day, which is bitter-sweet. SoBe rocks, and I would've shelled out big bucks for more leg room, but alas ... :( :)

The feeling of being somehow disconnected from the world was strange. I didn't have any internet access at all, and it somehow makes you feel like you're getting old news, just a small piece of the big world picture when you read newspapers or watch TV news. But nothing big happened, I see.

    How's it going around here?

My thread is still growing, and has nearly doubled any other thread I have created. I guess I have proven my point about Senate threads, all I had to do what sell out. :p

    Yes, you found the secret.

Now to figure out how to get the Amphitheatre to grow...without hosting a "Fan club" day. ;)

Hi there. I see some familiar faces here so thought I would check in. I've been gone from the fora for a while. My wife just started writing on her own at a similar political/religious group, and I remembered fun times debating tenorjedi here, so thought I would see what was up. Plenty to talk about these days.

    **** orders another Guinness ****

    Here is a little ridle.

GAP is to Rap as Ender_Sai is to __________?

PM me what you think the answer is and why you think so. This may be hard for those of us who stick in the Senate, but I'm going out on a limb to see if anybody else knows what I am talking about.

Why don't you tell us CoolGuy? I'm dying to hear what your whopping 18 years of life and obvious experience of the world can tell us?

EDIT: Removed words that could be called flaming. [face_plain]

    Fair 'nuff KW.

Hey, do you guys have any idea how much it costs me to buy double-creme Oreos? I loved them in the US, and you can get Oreos here for like AUD$1.30 (roughly US$0.70c), and I finally found some at a "gourmet" (read: expensive) supermarket, imported, for... $15.99. You know in $USD that's like $8?!

Needless to say, I spent the money on good beer (Stella Artois).

I can live without the Double Creme for the moment. It's not all bad - you guys in the US and UK don't get TimTams! :p

What you do, then, is you buy two packages of regular Oreos and smash two of them together. Serve them at a party and don't tell anyone about it. [face_devil] They'll all think you're trying to impress them.
