Dark Moon Defender by Sharon Shinn - Very, very good. In my favorite series of all time.

Taran Wanderer by Lloyd Alexander - my least favorite of that series, but I didn't like Wicked

    Abstain

Reader and Raelynx by Sharon Shinn - the other is good, but this is one of my favorite (like, in the top two) books. Direct sequel to Dark Moon Defender

American Gods would have won then, because I would have broken the tie in its favor :p Too late now, though.

New rule that I think is fair: if both books in a matchup get 0 votes, then both get eliminated and whichever book would have been faced next gets a bye.

    C.S. Lewis Division

The Santaroga Barrier by Frank Herbert 0, Dark Moon Defender by Sharon Shinn 1

    Brandon Sanderson Division

Wicked by Gregory Maguire 1, Taran Wanderer by Lloyd Alexander 2

    Timothy Zahn Division

The Scar by China Mieville 0, The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger by Stephen King 0 (both eliminated)

    Jim Butcher Division

Reader and Raelynx by Sharon Shinn 1, The Realms of the Gods by Tamora Pierce 0

    Douglas Adams Division

Watchmen by Alan Moore 4, Wizard and Glass by Stephen King 0

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan - Animal Farm is really good, but Eye of the World is more fun. And more epic.

    -

    -

The Two Towers by JRR Tolkien - because I've read it and haven't gotten around to Elantris yet, or my vote might be different.
