Guys... I'd hate to be a pseudo-mod, but forget about it: the album is more interesting. I might visit the actual show in Las Vegas next year.

Here's a small trivia bit that I just found out. That John Lennon made a cameo in the film, Tommy. He can be clearly seen during I'm Free in one of the cars.

Yet if you look at the entry on Wikipedia, he's not listed there as a cameo, yet on Youtube, its confirmed by different people.

I agree. Even on the tracks where they didn't change much up, like A Day In The Life, it's worth it just for the remastering. While My Guitar Gently Weeps has to be the highlight, and I thought the take on Mr. Kite was cool as well.

So is the LOVE album just new mixes, or are there actual totally new arrangemets (I heard the term "Mash-ups", but I dunno if that's the same use of the term mash-up as I know)?

OK, found the online stream at thebeatles.com

Seems like it would be a nice enough soundrack to the circus show, but there's nothing on the album that I need to own in this form. If I'm gonna spend $30 on a Beatles album, I'd pick one of the studio albums I'm missing over this.

I'd put it down to 'for completists only'.

It's actually a pretty good album, and I usually hate the Beatles.

I like both, but, I like Queen because the Beatles never did a Flash Gordon theme.

Twotles reunion last week in New York during a benefit concert put on by David Lynch

Ringo did a set (helped in places by Eddie Vedder & Ben Harper). Sheryl Crow (with Ben Harper) covered My Sweet Lord. McCartney did a long set, and Ringo joined for Little Help From My Friends and played drums on the all-star finale I Saw Her Standing There.

The other news was Revolution 1 Take 20 surfacing. So that's the year in Beatles so far.
