    Tazula
    ~Commercial District, Laheron, Odessen~

As Tazula continued to scan the area around them, she heard Mentor Shahassa speak. "You're being unusually quiet, Tashi," she told her friend, as she looked around. "Seeing as I don't sense Mentor Votrek either, we'll stay in the commercial district. Though I don't feel any danger about, so I wouldn't be overly concerned."

Tazula frowned, but didnt say anything. She just wondered why Mentor Votrek would remain hidden for so long. It was as if the woman was reading her mind, as she added.. "Perhaps he has something extra special in store. In any event, lets start our patrol and get this over with. He'll appear soon, I'm sure of it."

Tazula nodded, and then began to walk following the path that they had already started down. If nothing else, there was always some new to be seen in the commercial district. Stores were always stocking new and exciting things .... and boring things as well. But it was always busy, and full of movement and people. Which is why it was harder to locate her Mentor. ESPECIALLY, if he was trying to hide. Tazula sighed softly. Then she narrowed her eyes a bit. What about Seelo?

Master Votrek's animal companion was a Varactyl named Seelo. Could she reach out and see how he was feeling. After all, it made sense, that if Master Votrek was fine, Seelo would be fine. Even if Seelo was not with him, their connection would still tell her something. Well, she hoped it would. So as they walked, she tried to see if she could
feel their link. As Mentor Shahassa stated, she didnt sense any trouble nearby, but with Master Votrek, one could never be too sure.

    THEN

    Tazula
    ~First Defense Line, Firrerre~

The other Shado Vamiri soldiers complied to her orders, and it seemed to be working. Their strafing fire mowed down the stormtroopers. And they went down by the dozens, especially with no place to hide. And the others down the line were also getting their licks in as well.

But it was like shooting into the ocean. Wave after wave of soldiers kept coming up, clambering over the bodies of the fallen, without much slowing down. The Varmiri were buying time, but at least for the moment, they were holding there own. Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard her mentor's voice suddenly reach out to her mind.

<Tazula. It's me,> Of course, she thought to herself. <Some of us are having trouble on the opposite side of the line. I need to assist them, hold out without me a while longer! General Fourd should be with you soon though.>

Oh great. But before she could mentally respond, another voice called out to her, one much more blaring. The Force sang to her of immediate danger, as Tazula's head snapped up to survey the area. Time seemed to slow, as the Force worked around her, allowing her to perceive the possible danger to herself and her men.

    Pa'Vek!!

Two AT-ATs had opened fire at her and her group's position, their primary cannons sending two blasts towards them. There was no way that they could take the hit. And Tazula knew she could not absorb a blast of that nature. Even if she could, her team would still be hit. And it would be a rather noticeable. Blaringly so. She had to do something.

    And so she did.

Tazula screamed "COVER!" as she called upon the Force. If they survived, her Mentor could argue with her later about disobeying orders, as she used the skill, Elemental Manipulation. Being driven by pure desperation, and with no other way to shield herself and her fellow soldiers without being obvious, she concentrated, drawing deeply within herself, as she expanded out a circle around her as wide as she could. She reached out, desperate to save as many of her fellow Vamiri as she could, as she opened up a large sink hole, dropping them down as far down as she could make the hole, in order to evade the blaster bolts.

The next part would be to get back up and out quickly, so that they did not get run over. Hopefully, the blast would take out a few stormtroopers as well. If they had felt their sting before, Tazula was going to make sure that they felt her bite, after they survived the blasts.

    ~Gon-Ba Forest, Odessen~

Yoree'na watched quietly after her warning, letting Ran come to a decision about what to do or not do with the flowers that stood out in more ways than one. Truly a moment of relished peace as he took in the aroma. The smell came sweet and pleasant, like a rose or other cherished plant, in a decidedly 'neutral' fashion. Neither too earthy nor too 'meat-like'. And by no means anything unpleasant like rot. A good sign.

Next was to push his eyes, but he could pick out no visible marks on the ground of any kind aside from their own passage and no bodies. Good sign number two. Yet no insects clung nearby that he could see. That was peculiar. In situation like this he was thrown off what he was smelling and what he was seeing. They did not mesh as they should in his limited understanding of botany and insect relations.

Stepping forward he reached out gingerly, careful to pluck the flower at furthest reach. He made sure to pinch and pull from the base of where the step of the flower met the vine, and then. . .nothing. Their importance was truly an oddity in the Force. They seemed so significant to him, in the moment and the feel of the Force, yet nothing at all beyond the nothing at all seemed special about them. Putting the flower in a sample baggy inside a pouch he simply sniffed once more as he noted the smell upon his own fingers, truly the fragrance clings to the hand that plucks the flower.

Putting her hands on her hips and playfully toeing the ground with her foot, his twi'lek mentor eyed him with one eye closed. "Are we going to admire the flowers all day, hm? I know I've taught you to slow down and smell the roses before, but this might be a much right now…"

She grinned while Hurra hopped down from her shoulders at last, stretched, and began walking about calmly, sniffing the air herself without a care in the world.

Nodding at the small critter he felt his own companion crawl out from behind his cape to sit on his shoulder, "Alrigh, alright." He grunted out as he trudged around the edge of the vines to continue on their way. They were here for something other than the odd flowers.

    IC: Ran
    ~The Counter Offensive, Firrerre~

It took only a matter of seconds at that point. They were halfway to the enemy contingent, the Imperials were slow to notice them until they started shooting at them. Ran followed shortly after the first shots of his fellow Varmiri, his own were shots aimed roughly toward the second line of Imperials, always for something between the front and back of their lines. To say he always struck true was to tell a lie, he had shot slug throwers on the old worlds his family had lived on and so he had been adjusting and his first two shots went wide of their marks. Acting more as air bursts when they whizzed past the lines to explode in the air and one futilely against an AT-AT leg.

The Imperial soldiers dashed about for any kind of cover they could get, spreading out and returning fire to the incoming rancors, speeders, and rushing Shado Varmiri. Ran didn't mind and rather wished he could the same, but merely lifted his shield out of the speeder and thumbed it on before sticking his weapon through it to again as the shields effects wrapped around the barrel. An AT-ST swiftly turned around and began opening up with its own defensive attack. One Varmiri speeder exploded brilliantly before they got close. The other walkers and some of the troops just kept moving, though they seemed to slow to keep an eye on what was going on. He fired next to where he saw Imps taking cover, letting the explosive nature of his blasts do the work of knocking them out of cover for his fellow Varmiri, shots now on the mark or near it depending on how the speeder bobbed in time with his pulling the trigger.

Their own speeder weaved and bobbed amid the gunfire raining down upon them and jolting violently with fire spewing out from the port side right next to Amir. Ran's own starboard side remained largely quiet as a stray shot was absorbed by his shield.

    "NOW!" roared Mentor Feerrum.

Just like that, he was leaping out off the speeder, sword flashing in the sun and cutting down a stormtrooper they had been rushing by before spinning effortlessly to kick down another soldier who was promptly shot by another Varmiri colleague from somewhere. Ran merely looked over in awe as the other in the speeder that had been next to him as he gulped and strained to get himself up. The speeder weaved as he stood and he found himself falling out the crafter to tuck and roll along the recently trampled earth.

Lifting his head he looked for his ally Amir and Mentor Feerrum, but there were many more stormtroopers all around the keshiri master and he would need all the help he could get. Here was Ran hoping for aid and the one he sought it from needed it more than he, looking about as he stood up he noted the rest of the battle field.

The rancors plowed into the Imperial line, scattering troopers everywhere as they were stomped on, scooped up and tossed mercilessly, and otherwise scared into Varmiri weapons. The closest AT-ST to them promptly faced them and quickly began a deadly dance a ways off with one of the creatures. The other two rushed in on the gigantic AT-AT, but the other two AT-STs quickly converged and their cannon fire forced them back.

As madness and the chaos of battle raged everywhere, the AT-AT's head finally started to slowly turn their direction…

But they had too many immediate problems to worry about that. Yet.

Standing he fired off at the one AT-ST attacking one of the two Rancors, aiming for the spot of one of the leg joints, turning he fired off into a group of stormtroopers as he hurried into the troopers with shield raised, with a punch he knocked one down before hitting another with his weapon, before slamming down the teeth down on the neck of the trooper now in front of him before shooting again at the other AT-ST. With a heave and lift he flipped the weapon and but whipped another trooper at the came into range before kicking him back into another.

Meanwhile all he could think of, was how terrified he was the whole time. Running no adrenaline and fear.

    Salis D’aar, Bakura, 5 ABY

She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Valieri prevaricated, in many ways, and then Sorkas chimed in. Why did they need to have an open ended question for a grocery trip? Masters; ribbing their students for no reason whatsoever, at times; Leia had never been like this, but she was very to the point.

Cratsch legs, pelts and musk glands? Lylithe frowned, and was about to ask where on Bakura she would find things like that, and then the group dispersed. Lylithe frowned. “Okay…” She spoke to herself, and found herself wondering aloud. She had been tempted to follow Valieri, but she seemed to have some kind of…

Panic attack? Lylithe turned away from her ministrations, wondering if a Yuzzem local would have these items, especially the musk glands, and she moved through the crowd to find Valieri. A whistle echoed out, and Lylithe found annoyance in her veins - this was hardly covert. Why would someone with issues be subbed on a task and then sent off alone?

Lylithe had issues, and she never allowed them to interfere with a mission.

    Ever.

    Not even when…

    --

    3 ABY

    “My skills?”

Lylithe bit her tongue. She had been SpecForce, with four others. Some of them had not came back. She had held a lightsaber; trained with it, more than once. She had touched the Force, and felt it scald her near a darksider. Had felt heartbreak, and overcame it, and lost to it. A husband who had never returned from the War, a daughter who spurned her affection, a world lost to the Empire.

But she had to push through it.

    “I can fight.”

Lylithe pursed her lips. Something rose with her. “I want to fight.”

OOC: Going to give Mikaboshi a little more time before updating Tazula's present scene, Ktala.

    Present Time: 5 ABY

    ~Main Courtyard, Shado Temple, Odessen~

Lorvis would stand amongst his fellow Ravagers in preparation to assault the circle of Dervishes in their joint training sessions, hoping to connect a few hits against the Thaumaturges behind them. They had previously been on the defense, not their strong suit but important to practice, and hadn't fared so well. But now the offensive was their turn.

As Elda and the other Dervishes continued to wait and watch expectantly, the Ravagers consulted with each other and arrayed themselves in a battle line rather than a surrounding strategy. Apparently they thought they could either break through quickly, or force their more shadowy counterparts to do the same to maintain a defensive, thereby opening up the rear so someone could try to get around quickly and go for the healers.

The zabrak cyborg had to decide for himself if he agreed with the plan and how he went about things. At any event, they were free to begin at any moment.

    ~Gon-Ba Forest, Odessen~

With careful observation and extraction of the pleasant smelling flower, Ran then continued on his way through the darkened forest. Yoree'na and Hurra following close behind, their eyes looking back and forth for any potential dangers.

The yuzzem would travel some ways in the silent wood before danger seemed to creep in at the corners of his mind. Faint, just barely perceptible. A looming shadow upon the mind.

With a start, they would look up and around to find a whole pack of perhaps twenty aggressive Shade Stalkers, their scales as black as the darkness of the forest, in between the trees and some on the lower branches. Their eyes yellow embers staring right at them. They were surrounded. The Force shouldn't have just warned them, it should have been blaring!

Was Gon-Ba dampening their senses? Or something else?

His mentor's hand slowly crept to her lightsaber, eyes narrowed. Hurra growled quietly, to which the Stalkers all growled back in unison.

"Well, this is a surprise," mused the twi'lek woman. "Ready yourself. And be careful."

Good advice as the things had a penchant for attacking the Temple on occasion and were rather fierce. Stopping only when dead or having taken severe injury.

    ~Salis D'aar, Bakura~

There was no sign from what they could see for anything regarding what Lylithe was tasked with getting. Cratsch legs, pelts, and musk glands?

Where on Bakura indeed. Hopefully she and Valieri could work together to puzzle that out or there were locals around they could speak to. Both of them being human would go far in easing any anxieties the Bakurans would have talking to them.

Nearby, a sign would also catch their eyes for a moment: 'Bak-Metal Company - Salis D'aar Branch'

That might be where Val needed to go for her own request. Or perhaps it was misleading.

    The Past: 3 ABY

    ~Base of Udarir Mountain, Firrerre~

Crouching uncertainly along with the dowutin Mentor and the other learner or potential ranked Shado Varmiri members, Lorvis (a Potential Rank himself at this point in time), could only wonder at what was going to happen as the Galactic Empire waged their massive assault on Firrerre. Their route up the mountain to the Shado Temple was blocked now as Imperial soldiers were blasting their comrades behind the boulder they hid behind.

Their numbers and firepower was such that there wasn't much they could do, especially with the orders from the top stating no Force Powers or lightsabers were to be used in the fight. It had, unsurprisingly, thrown the Varmiri into even more chaos than they were already in.

The Mentor protecting them and telling them to stay low and wait for their chance, kept grumbling and asking where Garlena was. Whoever that was.

Especially as the dowutin raged over the death of a young boy who tried to bolt out from behind the protective rock prematurely and was gunned down for it.

Lorvis' eyes would briefly catch the gaze of a lorrdian man of similar rank, who just gulped and gave an acknowledging nod, before suddenly there was a roar. A monstrous roar that shook the air and cause the Imperials to falter.

"There she is," rumbled the dowutin.

When the blaster fire obviously began commencing in the other direction, their resident Mentor yelled as he stood up and grasped the boy's body.

"NOW! Just keep going! Head for the grove of trees ahead!"

As they finally bolted for that destination, beyond the dowutin they saw who or rather what Garlena was at last. A massive Krayt Dragon female that towered over everything except the mountain she fought next to.

Clearly she was the Mentor's bound companion due to the way he spoke.

"Garlena will buy us plenty of time! Just keep going, I will have to part with you there but not till I know you are all safe!"

So, for now, they ran. Fighting was a secondary objective. Escape was the way to their true goal.

    Survival.

    ~First Defense Line, Firrerre~

The large cannon blasts flew over their heads just barely as Tazula acted quickly to create a sink hole to have them lower in. They exploded the grounds a short ways behind them harmlessly. While it did not take out any stormtroopers, it did slow their advance so as not to charge into the strike and to observe the immediate results.

When the Shado Varmiri troops popped back up and returned fire, with the Imperials believing the blaster shoots to still have hit, they were caught flat-footed in surprise.

They felt the sting just as the twi'lek girl hoped and fell at their hands quickly. Though the AT-ATs continually approached closer and closer with deceptive speed, there was still a distance before they proved imminent danger despite the shot.

Imperial soldiers were a little further back now, they had won a brief respite before the next wave or next set of orders came through.

    ~The Counter Offensive, Firrerre~

Ran's shot hit the AT-ST the leg joint, but it didn't do much. At least not this time, the armor too strong. Though it continued its battle with a rancor instead of coming after him for his attempt. The yuzzem's next attacks proving to be more successful. Stormtroopers shot, knocked down, and having their necks slammed down from the shield teeth.

Another shot at the other AT-ST, this time going wide as it moved out of the way due to its battle dance with its own rancor to deal with. Frustrating.

Quickly whipping another trooper, he snapped their head back due to his natural strength and kicked them into another soldier, forcing them to topple over. They were gunned down by others.

Three more enemy soldiers seemed to rush him in a line, blaster rifles raised and opening fire rapidly. Trying to either break or get around his defensive shield.

Mentor Feerrum meanwhile was twirling, slashing, and pivoting in between a whole circle of enemies, taking them down in astonishing numbers.

Everywhere the battle continued to rage while the AT-AT seemed to finally halt and more earnestly begin its slow turn. Wherever it was trying to aim, it wasn't in rage of the neck's maneuverability, so the drivers decided to turn the walker's full body just enough to get a better shot at…

    Wherever.

Its turn slow and thunderous as it shook the ground due to its close proximity, all while the fight for life and death occurred all around it.

    ~Shado Temple, Odessen~

She could fight, she said. No. Lylithe revealed she wanted to fight. The old Kel Dor man watched for the span of a heartbeat in contemplative silence.

    Then nodded.

"It pains me to put you into combat on our behalf so early into your initial arrival, but so be it. We could use your help in that area as well. I need you to take the stairs behind me to the next floor and search out the iktochi man known as Moslith Haho. He is a Mentor here and I need you to inform him that I am officially placing him in charge of the Temple's Defenses. There is a priority that requires my complete attention immediately and so I will not be able to effectively devote my attention on coordination right now. He will supply you with any weaponry or supplies you feel you need to help fight well.

"I sense you will find him quickly after ascending the steps, so do not worry about getting lost. Now go, there is no time to waste."

Prime Borrn bowed to her and already began to sweep away past her, pausing only to speak to a Gand that had run into the room that he redirected to the front gates.

Up the stairs, she would find they would go even further up than the floor he stated, but that didn't matter. True to his intuition as well, there was an open circular chamber she came out on and across the way an open balcony where she was an iktochi man who clearly held some level of authority speaking to a few Varmiri, who nodded at his words and ran elsewhere.

As she approached, he would turn instinctively to her.

    "Yes?"

    IC: Amir T’ekoah
    Battle of Firrerre-Counter Offensive

    The enemy was everywhere,

Amir could see them, sense them, all around him, all around his brothers, all around the Varmiri. They were single minded beings intent on their erradication. He sensed no wavering in them. They were hollow humanoids devoid of compassion. This is why he and his fellow Varmiri brothers had to be twice as determined to survive, to protect what was truly important.

    Their way of life.

Amir could sense Ran as he became engaged with the enemy. He could see clearly see Mentor Feerrum holding his own against a greater number of enemy troops, but Amir could not afford to focus on any of them, since he had problems of his own.

The first series of slashes he performed took down the closest set of armed enemies. T’ekoah’s two-handed vibro sword cut through enemy armor with ease, but now his attackers were outside of his reach.

Reflexively he blocked their shots with his sword, and for a split second, he did not understand why their bolts had not reflected back at them.

“Right.” he hissed to himself in self-recriminating annoyance. No Lightsabers. No Force Powers. The three enemy troopers who he now ‘entertained’, maintained their distance as they kept firing at him, putting Amir on the defensive. A growl resounded inside the korun’s helmet as he swiftly managed to block their shots again. His sword flashed with incredible speed as it intercepted crimson bolts to his head, knee and shoulder. Amir didn’t want to evade, even though he could. If he did that, a shot meant for him could very well hurt one of his Varmiri brothers, and he could not allow that to happen. Not while he still drew breath.

In not so far distance, the AT-AT began a slow turn, its foot falls causing the ground to shake. The fight raged on, as if nothing was amiss, as far as the ground shaking that is. As a Phalanx, Amir took his protective duties to heart. He could sense and understood the mounting danger the mechanical monstrosities employed by the Empire represented. If left uncontested, they would quickly dominate the battlefield.

Grey-blue eyes caught one of the moving troopers trying to flank him. That’s the one Amir rushed first. The korun’s armored form moved swiftly, his blade still deflecting shots meant for him. The trooper had not expected him to rush him and was caught by surprise. He fired wildly-and missed. Amir’s blade did not.

But he didn’t stop, nor did he look back at the trooper he’d just ‘ended’. He could sense his enemy’s light quickly fading. Amir took no pleasure in this, but he would defend his people at the coast of his own life.

The phalanx was a warrior in continual motion. Amir cut down the first enemy and remained a target, his blade never ceasing to protect him. He resisted the urge to duck and roll under an incoming barrage of blaster fire, and instead, parried with all his skill. Whatever shots did get through, were ablated by his own armor, which made them negligible- so far. Keeping his stride and momentum, Amir dashed and lept ( without the force) at the two troopers still firing and now back pedaling.

He caught the second trooper at the mid-section after blocking the astonished trooper’s blaster fire. The other one turned to run, to get some distance, but Amir simply threw his blade at him, impaling him in the back. Amir did a sprinting somersault and pulled out his blade from the enemy before his body even hit the ground, landed on one knee and turned just in time to block another series of shots fired at his back.

His blade was getting covered in scorch marks and he couldn’t very well keep this up forever. It didn’t matter. He trusted in the Force.

There seemed to be no end to this encounter and he was hard pressed to see himself surviving it. Still, he would fight his hardest, until he could fight no more.
He couldn’t understand why they could not use their powers against this relentless enemy, but in his mind, Amir decided to transform his frustration into focus.

    Fight. Defend. Protect.

More troopers came, some too close for their own good. Those he would use as cover against the ones further away.

As the battle raged on, Amir was certain the Mentor Feerrum and even the War Prime could see those AT-ATs and AT-STs.

He certainly hoped they had a plan.

With careful observation and extraction of the pleasant smelling flower, Ran then continued on his way through the darkened forest. Yoree'na and Hurra following close behind, their eyes looking back and forth for any potential dangers.

He traveled some ways in the silent wood before danger seemed to creep in at the corners of his mind. Faint, just barely perceptible like a tell tale breeze that softly whispers of something far away until it niggles and nags and worries the edges of yourself until it seems to haunt you.

With a start, he looked up and then turned his head slowly around to find a whole pack of perhaps twenty aggressive Shade Stalkers, their scales as black as the darkness of the forest, in between the trees and some on the lower branches. Their eyes yellow embers staring right at them. They were surrounded. The subtle breeze his toasty posterior!

Was Gon-Ba dampening their senses? Or something else? After all surely Yoree'na would of made note of such danger he was walking into if it had only affected him. Speaking of her he slowly looked back.

Which was how he knew what he was looking at. Only now, could they be considered the ones diving into the others territory? He could feel his companion stir and crawl out from beneath his cloak to rest ontop of his head. It's beady black eyes staring back at the pack as Randolpho did the same. Softly he growled in a deep guttural fashion, then feeling the action and remember his mentors familiar he changed the growled to rattling low one, like an aggressive purr was the best way to describe it. If they wanted to attack he could not stop them, he did not know such ways of the Force nearly well enough, but if they felt an aggressive self soothing rattling in themselves perhaps the message would come across. All is tense, but all is well.

Reaching out with the Force he echoed that message after several seconds, that guttural feeling. Letting his Telepathy be his ally.

His own frustration and rage at the ineffectualness of his first attack lending strength and emotion to those that followed. It took his mind off his fear, it fed his anger and abated his fear, leaving calm rage as he fired once more.

Another shot at the other AT-ST, this time going wide as it moved out of the way due to its battle dance with its own rancor to deal with. Frustrating. Who even knew where the shot would land now! He roared defiantly as he let the steam out of himself in whipping motion.

The hit trooper who was the focus of this close attack had their head snapped back due to his natural strength before he kicked them into another soldier, forcing them to topple over. They were gunned down by others. As he turned around more, roaring in defiance as three advanced upon him.

Three more enemy soldiers seemed to rush him in a line, blaster rifles raised and opening fire rapidly. Trying to either break or get around his defensive shield. Barring his teeth he lifted the and limped forward, as the drew close, their fire increasing at his apparent lack of counter he hopped forward, landing to slide upon his knees as spun the shield at an angle to block their from above even as he took their knees out around him, two with the shield, one with the barrel of his weapon. As they landed he sprung forward and with the spiked teeth on the bottom seperated the head of the center trooper from his body before releasing it to reach out with his long arms and digging his nails through the other two troopers necks. With a defiant roar he lifted the bodies and threw them at other troopers, before aiming his weapon and firing once more at the first AT-ST, aiming for the same spot as soon as it seemed to shift its weight to that leg.

Lifting the shield he moved away as the Force directed, spinning and hitting another trooper with the shield. He did not stop to check what he had done but stopped and fired up into the belly of the great behemoth that was the AT-AT, once, twice, and then he was moving and blocking again. He aimed for where he thought might be near the fuel storage for the behemoth, but then again that might be the waste storage tanks for all he knew of Imperial engineering. He just knew he had to do something.

After all as everywhere the battle continued to rage while the AT-AT seemed to finally halt and more earnestly begin its slow turn.

    FLASHBACK

    Tazula
    ~First Defense Line, Firrerre~

    Force!!!

Tazula was thankful that her plan had worked as well as it had. The large cannon blasts flew over their heads just barely. But it was good enough. And when her troops had popped back up, to defend themselves, the Imperials
were caught by surprise, and her fellow Vamiri swiftly mopped up the approaching troops.

With that, Tazula let loose the breath she had been holding. She had taken a gamble, but one that had worked. The AT-ATs were still getting closer, but there was not anything they could do about it at the moment. They were
still too far away for their weapons to be effective. Tazula noticed that the Imperial soldiers were a little further back now. General Fourd had not shown himself yet. Tazula took the time to check her weapon, as she scanned the horizon for other situations. She checked on her snipers, to make sure that they were still okay as well. "Everyone check your weapons, and catch your breaths while you can. If your hurt, now is the time to patch yourself up. They gonna be a bit more careful this time." Tazula smiled. "And so are we."

Tazula looked down the line. They needed a new plan. Hopefully when the General reached them, he would have better news.
