The crew of the Spirit were greeted by none other than Alec Vandel, the only person assigned to the mission to the Ruins that was not directly affiliated with the Guardians. The young Jedi did not seem to have suffered any of the ill effects, which he had reported that the others from his group were suffering, from the wide spread Force event.

As Alec escorted the group back towards Dovey’s transport, Josch could sense uneasiness flowing from the Guardian Knight who was watching the group approach. Without breaking his stride, he turned to Miria and said in a low voice “Take the others in and tend to your sister, I want to talk to Knight Be’orar for a few minutes.” He then broke away from the group and walked right up to her, “Gaan,” he said in a calm voice while sending soothing waves through the Force, “You, look cold. Why don’t you come with me into the Spirit where it is warm? Let’s see what we can do about jogging your memory, shall we.”

He placed one hand on her shoulder and extended his other hand out towards the recently landed YT-2400.

“No problem. It’s what I’m here for, at least when Danny isn’t around.” Ian could sense the genuiness of her attitude, it was nice at least to know he hadn't screwed up yet another relationship with someone. At least not yet. He was sure the woman would grow to dislike him as almost everyone eventually did. The harder he tried to become a useful member of the group, the more it seemed he alienated himself from them. He could feel the frustration starting to build again just thinking about it.

Ms. Sandstrider stood up abruptly. “In any case…should we head to the hanger and meet up with our ‘friends’?” Ian wasn't sure about that. The Grandmaster had told him to watch over the TCC, and as much as he disliked doing that he didn't want to disappoint the Grandmaster, again.

At the same time he didn't really know how to assert himself to the older woman manning the TCC with him. How would she react if he said no to her? He was trying to screw up the courage to do just that when the Grandmaster's droid began beeping at them. Surprised, Ian turned to the small green droid. He still didn't know any better what it was trying to say, but it seemed to be trying to get their attention. Looking at the tactical display two more ships had departed the new Star Destroyer and were on their way down to the Temple. Given what had just transpired Ian supposed that this was all according to the Grandmaster's design. But he still wasn't sure.

His voice wavered as he spoke. "uhh...Ms. Sandstrider." He pointed to the display showing the two new ships coming in now as well. "Maybe we should stay here for a bit."

    "uhh...Ms. Sandstrider.”

Lenea looked over at the display as the Padawan said that. It seemed that a couple more transports were coming down from that GSD.

"Maybe we should stay here for a bit."

Lenea thought about that. She had been (barely trained or not) picking up on some nervousness for awhile now. It was fairly obvious that the kid (Thrace? At least Lenea thought that was his name), didn’t want to upset her, or fail someone (most likely the Masters). But she didn’t show any signs of picking up on that as she replied.

“Probably a good idea. At least till those transports have landed. Let me ask Danny about that…” Lenea said, before accessing the bond, “Hey, Danny! We have a couple more transports coming down. Can you ask the Masters if they want both of us to stay in the TCC, or have one of us go to the hanger and meet our ‘friends’?”

After finishing that, Lenea looked back at the display. Things just kept getting more complicated. It hadn’t been like this since that mission on the old Redemption…

Daniel walked with the group heading for the other ship. It seemed odd that Master Decinchi had decided to use the Spirit for the meeting, but it was his choice. However, while walking towards the ship, the young Captain got yet another message from his sister, which was beginning to try even his patience.

“Hey, Danny! We have a couple more transports coming down. Can you ask the Masters if they want both of us to stay in the TCC, or have one of us go to the hanger and meet our ‘friends’?”

Daniel sighed before turning back to Master Lahana, so as not to interrupt the other Master, “Lenea just told me something. A couple more transports are coming down, and she wants to know if one of them, and I’m assuming she means her and Thrace, should head for the hanger to meet up with them or not?”

    IC: Aden Kya
    Aboard the Defector, shuttle bay

Darth Halucion seemed to nudge matters alone, which was agreeable. Aden Kya found the non-human a very distinct presence in the Force, to him as a 'Grey' lightsider... or perhaps a 'Bright' Sith. Aden could barely distinguish what it was that made Halucion quite so different, but Kya thought in terms of light, when it came to the Force. His perceptions gave people shadows, and Halucion' was certainly limmed, like an eclipse, when Aden peered at him.

Aden concentrated, and decided to take Lady Mystique's bait. A burst of smoke- pre-timed - burst from the side of the vessel, and a mechanic, panicking that a Sith was about to burst his brains, rushed forward. The Weequay looked at Aden apologetically, as he and his crew rushed to slap down the rivet that had come loose. Aden gave him a malevolent gaze.

    "Report."

"A conduit popped, and although it hasn't damaged the ship..." the Chief paused, and swallowed. "Ithas caused a drain on the sensor negating systems. As such it may struggle to cope with five passengers."

Aden pursed his lips, gesturing for his colleagues to wait. "How many passengers can it take?"

    "Three," at most.

The former Imperial Knight scowled. "Do we have other stealth-equipped vessels?"

The Weequay nodded, quickly. "A two-pilot Seinar StealthTIE - a Blur... it used to belong to Darth Insipid."

Aden nodded. "So be it." And then, in one swift move, activated his pure white lightsaber and split the Chief from hip to shoulder. "Then our decision is made." There was little time to spare before the ship jumped. Aden painted the Weequay's second, a Rodian, with a glare. "Get Lord Harestichand Lady Rivelle into the Blur, immediately. Before we arrive."

Aden marched himself, gesturing Lady Mystique to follow. Settling in the controls, he didn't comment in the presence of Lord Halucion as to the ruse - which Aden hoped to have covered with violence, necessary as it was. Keeping his presence tight and close as ever, Aden received confirmation that both ships were ready and, without further notice beyond a short "strap in" to his cormades, launched the shuttle clear and micro-jumped into the morass of a full-blown feint.

And promptly lost track of the Blur on his sensors - no surprise - but also in the Force. With a smirk of satisfaction, Kya nodded. "I cannot sense Lord Harestich or his paramour. We may have to proceed alone."

He didn't comment any further, and swiftly took the shuttle down to the surface. With the ground-based defences occupied by the successful strike at the hangar, much of the Hand of Thrawn castle was far too busy to notice them. Within a few moments, they were to the edge of the walls, having deftly avoided much of the difficult plant-life, poised near a side entrance to the hangar, on a stone ledge.

In the Force, there was much darkness within the main hangar, angry and rumbling. Were they to peer in, they would sense two fully powered Sith Troopers, disengaging themselves from their trapped Annhilator-class vessels - quite literally, due to their cyborg nature - and exchanging snarls with stressed technicians and flight crew.

Halucion, for his point, would hear a hiss in his ear.

Why is a Jedi here, of all places?

But if he was to turn, then he would see nothing.

    IC: Darth Dreadwar
Aboard the Dark Renewal, bridge quarters

As ever amused, Darth Dreadwar simply snorted. "You lie even to yourself, Ardeur? Are you so enamoured with your late Darth Insipid that you cannot see past what he sought for you?"

Dreadwar made no move to conjure a lightsaber, and instead tossed the Holocron of Gorog up and down as if a ball he was playing with - much like how, in his mind, he was playing with her. It amused him to see that the mere mention or presence of her former lover could be used against her. He had passed beyond flesh and lovers, and did not need the pain of loss to summon his rage.

It may as well play his last card.

"I have a reason for you to live, little Sith." Dreadwar sneered. "Because I know where Micah is. And, no, he's not dead. Not at all."

Dreadwar tossed the Holocron to her, to really throw her off balance, and he launched himself forward, looking to grab her, corporeally, so he could anchor himself and escape the wretched Rule of Three.

    "Do you want him?"

    ---

Darth Venomis amused himself as Lilith was distracted by the sudden cease of the battle deeper within the system. He took that opportunity to knock out her shields, and was amused by her snide comment. He sought to taunt her back. "The Rule of Three - the Triumvirate - simply acknowledges the truth; that no one Sith should be supreme, that where there is two one must always fall. It is only through Three that true balance can be obtained - and so the Three can rule supreme."

The man gloated. "Was it not true when Darth's Traya, Nihilus and Sion destroyed the Jedi Order?"

In his humour, he lost track of Lilith momentarily as she flipped herself up and in a one-eighty, using the Force to conceal her intentions and also to speed her manoeuvre. Venomis laughed, amused he could be surprised even in his age, and goosed his thrusters, pushing himself into her path. There was no opportunity to dodge - their vessels collided, but Venomis simply used the Void that surrounded this system as a power source, cushioning them both, holding gravity around them, and ripping apart and reconstituting their vessels into a new, larger, Sith Meditation Sphere, and then it settled. The Sphere, a living entity, seized control of the portions of the ship that had been added to it, and when the moment - mere seconds - passed, Venomis - a tall and cloaked shadow of a creature with no face within the depths of his cowled hood and black gloves to mark his hands - was facing Lilith within the confines of his Sphere.

His voice sounded amused as he ignited his lightsaber, a black-jewelled hilt giving birth to a blade the colour of aurodium ingots; the golden colour of the sun.

In that moment Aiser's presence vanished into the Force; he was gone, smothered by Darth Nemesis.

    "Your move."

    IC: Darth Malkuth
    Hangar, Dark Child, above Csilla

Darth Malkuth found his eyes sliding to Lexis during their briefing, and Malkuth, who had heard the Bothan's prattle before, allowed his attention to wonder. Lexis didn't seem to be entirely attentive, which struck the clone as odd, considering that the other troopers were in varying states of unhappiness or unease about the drop method. Malkuth was tempted to try and skim the surface thoughts of Lexis, and then Helinith and Mal rushed in, looking flushed. Malkuth resisted the urge to copy an old Thrawn expression and arch an eyebrow, and settled on snorting.

How curious, these three. But then again, they were former Acolytes, a curious group if there ever was one - one which Malkuth was a definite outsider. He shrugged, and simply strapped himself in as he mused to himself.

Within a few moments, they were released, rumbling through the air, through space, and then the spear slammed to the ground. Malkuth didn't want to reflect on the sensation of falling with no control, and simply settled on getting his second wind - he'd had it knocked out of him by his landing, which suggested there were definitely some bugs to iron out. Malkuth would probably do that to the Bothan tech when he returned - he would press an iron to the idiots fur until it was fixed.

Trying to conceal his shakiness, he noted eight of the original seventeen spears near him, the snow-covered ground disturbed where they had impacted. From them spilled troopers, and he glanced over the three unopened spears. "All accounted for?"

As he spoke, the ground shook, and Malkuth didn't have the chance to check. He could hardly reach into the Force when it was so filled with death. Indiscriminate fire from the Houses Citadel was pouring down, great maser cannons mounted on the citadel walls. A black construct, bar the areas where ice had managed to adhered itself, the ice reflected the multi-colour display of crimson Chiss fire against brilliant emerald fire from distant AT-AHT walkers; Malkuth's heavy infrantry.

Grogginess sought to addle his senses, and the Sith refreshed himself with the Force as their arrival was noticed - a turret swung their way, and he snapped. "Hurry!"

Malkuth checked himself for concussion and ignited his blade, deflecting charric shots from Chiss sharpshooters on the decking. The bolts had tremendous kinetic energy, and he nearly dropped his lightsaber from the first blow, spinning with his blade to reflect the second bolt back where it had came. They were at the walls in a moment, and troopers left began firing cables up. Malkuth gathered the Force under him and leaped the distance, landing on the turret and spearing Chiss with ease. A corner was theirs - he pointed to the other corners. "Troopers to secure the platforms." He pointed down at what could only be described as a 'tank' - a bubble shaped monster with treads for movement and a smattering of anti-personnel weapons, it was rapidly turning its weapons on their position, a single hatch slamming shut on the top of it as the Chiss commander sealed up the tank; it's hull came alive with a charge of electricity and Malkuth grimaced; an anti-personnel security field too. "Helinith, Mal, take that down now."

He spied what actually mattered; the entrance to the underground ice catacombs, a mob of Chiss already withdrawing towards it. Bar one - a heavy-set and armoured individual that seemed to have cerulean chest armour, spikes bursting from his back and a cloak set on them. He looked like a Yuuzhan Vong bred with a Chiss, bar the burning yellow eyes - eyes that burned even more brightly as they belonged to a Sith - a member of the Obscurum... their first encounter. "Lexis, he's yours."

Malkuth flipped high, over the tank and the Obscurum, and gestured - shattering the mechanism which was trying to pull shut the access to the catacombs, and began wading into the Chiss forces.

For novelty, Malkuth hummed while he did it.

    Aboard Renewal

"You lie even to yourself, Ardeur? Are you so enamoured with your late Darth Insipid that you cannot see past what he sought for you?"

Ardeur’s face betrayed no emotion. She had outlived Insipid and definitely saw past what he wanted for her. She struggled for most of her existence to rid herself of him, yet parts of him seemed to still live on and confront her everywhere she went. The slayer of the mighty Lowbacca was so much more than Insipid ever had been.

"I have a reason for you to live, little Sith." Dreadwar sneered. "Because I know where Micah is. And, no, he's not dead. Not at all."

If possible Ardeur’s body went even more still at the mention of Micah’s name and a flood of memories overwhelmed her.

    His smile.
    His smell.
    His kiss.
The feel of his stubble as her hand caressed his cheek.
The shivers up her spine as his hand traced up her naked back.

Not dead. Not dead. Her world just crashed down around her. She had resigned herself to death with nothing to live for. She had placed herself before Darth Dreadwar with the hope that he would cut her down and ultimately she would be victorious in thwarting him. Ardeur's vision started to go black and she realized she hadn't breathed for over a minute. She sucked in a careful, shallow breath helping her vision start to clear.

The holocron crashed to the floor beside her. Ardeur hadn't even seen it. Her thoughts were full of Micah and the pain she was consigning herself to. She had been miserable with Insipid attached to her. His attempts to control her took almost all of her energy to keep him at bay. Dreadwar was stronger. He could also be lying. There was no time to ask for proof. However, Darth Ardeur knew she could not resist the temptation to find out what had happened to Micah even if Dreadwar could be deceiving her. A tear slipped out of her right eye and left a trail down her cheek.

    "Do you want him?"

“You bastard.” She whispered, her voice devoid of its usual venemous emotion, as he approached her and she dropped her shields.

Miria nodded to Josch, sending him a thought-picture of her sister and her together and all of them back at the temple, gently nudging in that direction. As they walked the last few feet to the Ancient Haven, Miria listened as Daniel asked her what the two remaining individuals should do, stay at the TCC or welcome their new visitors. Miria pondered this for a moment, tugging her cloak closer to her as she thought. “Have them split. Ian is to stay at the TCC and Lenea is to go to the Hangar and welcome our guests and explain the situation. Please have her hurry as we don’t want to keep them waiting.

As she finished, they all reached the ship and entered. Miria made her way to the first two people she saw, Dovey and Hochner. They were standing rather close and Dovey had a slightly confused expression on her face, which made sense because she couldn’t use her eyes to give her information about her surroundings. Miria placed her hand on her sister's shoulder. "I'm here. Don't worry." Saying this she turned her gaze towards Hochner.

Outwardly, Miria said, “Gaan is being taken care of by Josch so no need to worry there.” Miria turned so that she was focusing on the active members, Hochner and Alec. “What exactly happened here?”

When the ramp finally let down she walked down with Sitan right behind her. She turned toward the person she was told to be Taab and quipped, "Hey there. Took you guys long enough to get here. Whatcha been doing?"

    Alec Vandel
    Saridona Prime, Ancient Haven

Alec had noted Master Decinchi's disappearance but had not asked as to where he was going; he had a good guess anyway. So he just led the rest of the party to the Ancient Haven without even halting for a second. Fortunately, they did not have far to walk as the young Jedi soon found himself walking back up the ramp and keying the door open to the vessel.

Stepping inside, Alec saw that little had changed during his time outside. Dovey still looked lost but, at the very least, had Hochner who was supporting her. Gaan was missing but Alec had noted her departure before and it was probably her that Decinchi went to see. Michael was off to the side, apparently still lost in thought and hardly taking notice of them. He didn't disturb him. Instead, Alec stepped off to the side, allowing the rest of their party to come aboard and take stock. Master Lahana went immediately to her sister.

    “What exactly happened here?”

Despite himself, one of Alec's brows lifted at the question. He had thought Decinchi would've briefed her on what happened. Unless she meant the complete details of their arrival and what occurred when they went to the ruins.. Then that, Alec admitted, he didn't remember passing to Decinchi; only of their current situation.

He quickly replied. "We arrived near the ruins, disembarked, and went to investigate them. Just before we reached them, Hochner's Master," he gestured towards Michael, "arrived out of nowhere in troubling condition. If what he says is true, he may've been brought into stasis like you had Master Lahana and managed to be freed. We brought him back to this ship and then the Force event happened. We were all knocked unconscious and when we came to, Dovey lost her sight, Gaan lost some of her memories, and the rest..."

Trailing off at that, he shrugged before motioning towards everyone else in the ship. "Well, here we are."

Saridona Prime GoL Academy Hanger Bay

After the prolonged orbit and approach to Hanger Bay, Allynic sighed with relief when the finally touched down. The Academy was not what Allynic expected at all. Granted, the last time he had been in a large conclave of Jedi had been during the days of The Old Republic. And the Jedi Temple was always a quiet and sernene place. This Academy, on the other hand, was like a Malastare Bee Hive. The hanger was littered with ships and people all rushing around, taking care of various tasks.

Allynic turned to Khalifa. "Nice flying, Sunrider. I really do appreciate the lift. Ready to find some answers?"

With that, the duo walked to the ramp and waited for it to finish its descent. At the end of ramp stood an outline of a figure he never expected in the hanger. Mandolorian! Sitan stared at him. "I believe his name is Taab," he thought to himself.

"Hey there. Took you guys long enough to get here. Whatcha been doing?" Taab asked.

"Sorry. I'm still a little groggy with Carbonite Sickness. I guess I slowed us down. Nice to meet you. Are you our escort?" Allynic asked Tabb.

Hanger bay, Temple of Light, Saridona Prime

Taab regarded the newcomers as they came down the boarding ramp of their vessel. From what he saw, they posed no threat to the Temple or the mission here. The first he saw was a scruffy looking human. A young woman, her clothes looked like they could use a good fixing up and scrubbing down. Taab knew there were times when one had to get dirty. He usually enjoyed those times as much as the next Mandalorian. But in down time, proper maintenance of one's equipment was essential. That included clothing. "Hey there. Took you guys long enough to get here. Whatcha been doing?"

Taab snorted a bit. Brazen little thing too. He liked that and hoped if the she was a jedi wannabe that Spoonbender didn't have that drilled out of her. The second being was a Camaasi, a people known for their pacifist ways. Not the greatest news, Taab would have preferred more warriors, but if he too was a force user at least he would count towards Taab's bonus. "Sorry. I'm still a little groggy with Carbonite Sickness. I guess I slowed us down. Nice to meet you. Are you our escort?"

Carbonite sickness? This one might have a story or two that could rival Patches. Then again Patches had probably been frozen in carbonite at some time in his past too, just to see what it felt like. But they weren't here for stories, he stepped forward from the group of Mandalorians. "Taab, Temple Security." He knew other introductions were in order. If these were jedi refugees then they wouldn't be expecting a group of Mandalorians greeting them instead of their own kind.

"That's Velkin, Shysa, Pythos, Vel and Renn." He gestured to each as he introduced them using their real names. No point in confusing the shabla new guys just yet.

"Now that you know us, how about you tell me who you all are, and what you are doing here."

She turned her attention to Alec with a frown. Force event? It sounded almost like a deliberate trap… She couldn’t be sure on what they meant by Force event but it seemed to have some kind of effect on Force users. All she knew was that would require investigating into.

Gaan watched as the Grand Master approached her without hesitation. Trying to match his attitude, she took a single step forward to meet him. When he reached her, she felt calming waves through the Force, and let them wash over her, while still remaining alert. "Gaan, you, look cold. Why don’t you come with me into the Spirit where it is warm? Let’s see what we can do about jogging your memory, shall we.”

Gaan glanced over at his hand as it came to rest on her shoulder, then back up at him as he gestured toward the newly-landed ship. Nodding, she followed him.

"Now that you know us, how about you tell me who you all are, and what you are doing here." Tab asked.

Allynic's vision blurred and he got slightly dizzy. He should it off, and turned his attention back to the Mandalorian.

"I am Allynic Sitan, and I come from the planet Caamas. I am here looking for some medical aid. I also am hoping to find guidance and insight to continue my training as a Jedi. It's been a long time since I was first frozen in carbonite and I feel like my connection to the Force has been strained in recent times.

    Flashback.
Allynic fought in vain against the cuffs on his wrists and hands. He kept trying to draw on the Force, but the drugs in his system clouded his mind. He went into a frenzy as he was lowered into the the freezing chamber. He should have known he could never escape. As a Caamasi, he lacked to will to attempt some sort of violent display; even if it meant his own demise. Allynic was just an average Jedi. Emperor Palpatine was responsible for the Jedi Purge. What chance did he think he had of escaping? Or surviving, for that matter. He should have know there were only so many "tests" the Emperor could run on him. You could only experiment on a Jedi for so long before one got bored. He locked eyes with the hooded face that watched him intently with a sinister smile. The man stood, watching what was left of the Caamasi being frozed in a block of carbonite. Allynic tried to calm himself as he felt the cold flow of carbon pour into his lungs. And suddenly he was drowning, heart racing as he helplessly struggled. "It is too late, Jedi scum!" Palpatine finally said as he turned and left the room.

Allynic jolted with a start to realize he had zoned out for a few seconds. It seemed like a week ago that he had been tortured by Palpatine. But in that week he had lost his planet and everyone he had ever known was dead. He turned back to Taab.

"So you can to a medical facility escort me? Allynic slurred. "I....help...need...here."

Suddenly his knees buckled, and the ground rushed up towards his head. He felt stars explode in his forehead as he struggled to remain conscious. The last thought that went through his mind before he passed out was "I really hope this bucket head doesn't kill me."

The Caamasi looked distracted for a moment after Taab asked the new arrivals to identify themselves. Was he confused, or just trying to decide which lie to use?

"I am Allynic Sitan, and I come from the planet Caamas. I am here looking for some medical aid. I also am hoping to find guidance and insight to continue my training as a Jedi. It's been a long time since I was first frozen in carbonite and I feel like my connection to the Force has been strained in recent times."

He started to look "distant" again. Just how long had he been in carbon freeze?

"So you can to a medical facility escort me?"

Taab glanced at his fellow (almost) Mandalorians. What did they look like the hired help? Ok, maybe they were the hired help, but they were soldiers. Warriors, not tour guides.

    "I....help...need...here."

Taab watched dispassionatly as Frosty lost consciousness and hit the floor, hard. That's going to leave a mark, he thought as he moved forward and took a knee next to the fallen being. He knew that Patches would cover him as he looked Frosty over. After determining that there was nothing "amiss", he rolled Frosty over. No obvious wounds, still breathing. He seemed to have just passed out. Taab was no doctor, not really even a medic, but he seemed safe to move. He stood back up.

"Guess we should get Frosty to the medical bay, let the droids take a look at him." He pointed to Frosty's grubby looking female companion who was still silent. "She should carry him. She looks like she could use a good workout, and a sandwich." Now he turned to her. "How about it Pig-pen? What's your story?"

Dovey smiled and held on to her sister momentarily before being led to a seat next to her golden twin. She turned her head look down to her intertwined hand with Miria’s while she listened in on the conversation between Miria and Alec, absorbing once more the full impact of what had happened. She was beginning to feel a bit angry that she would be cut off from her goal now, at least until her eyes healed. She was also quiet thinking of how her sister had had to come to the Ruins after all.

Miria, she said to her sister using their bond, you shouldn’t be here at all considering what happened. I will be of no use without my sight and without proper training in the force to interact with my surroundings sufficiently. Dovey found her sister’s hand and squeezed it.

Khalifa was about to tell her story and her reason for showing up here when Sitan beat her to the Punch. "I am Allynic Sitan, and I come from the planet Caamas. I am here looking for some medical aid. I also am hoping to find guidance and insight to continue my training as a Jedi. It's been a long time since I was first frozen in carbonite and I feel like my connection to the Force has been strained in recent times." Then all of a sudden his face went blank and he just stood there spaced off to who knows where. He was probably having another one of his flashbacks to before the Clone Wars. Another one of them happened when they were on approach to Saridona and he didn't snap out of it til 15minutes later.

"So you can to a medical facility escort me?", came a slurred response. "I....help...need...here." Then his legs came out from under him and he dropped like a rock to the floor. The Mando troops rushed around and the one called Taab bent down to check his pulse concluding he was still breathing and probably just passed out.

Taab barked out some directions and Sitan was carried off. Then he turned to her and said, "How about it Pig-pen? What's your story?"

She was a little taken aback at first by the sudden use of the name Pig-Pen on her, but she soon shook it off thinking to herself that it hadn't been the worst thing she'd been called. She had the feeling she was gonna have to get used to the name anyway cuz this mando looked like he didn't remember names well. She stuttered out, "Well Its a long one but for time's sake I'll paraphrase. I'm part of a long lost family line connected to the great Nomi Sunrider. I was told that there was this creature on Rhen Var who might have info on my family history since I know barely anything about it. That's where I found Sitan frozen in carbonite. He said he had a library on Bogden with endless info on anything and he agreed as a form to repay me for unfreezing him to take me there. Unfortunately we were attacked by pirates and forced to come out of hyperspace in Saridona's orbit. You basically know the rest from there."

When she finished she leaned against the frame of Heartseeker, crossed her arms, and waited for a response.

Miria listened closely to Alec, glancing towards Michael as he spoke. Michael looked much the worse for wear. He was sitting near the end of the room, pensive and appearing not to have taken in the current conversation.

When Alec was finished, Miria stood up after patting her sister’s hand and letting go of it. “Everyone who is injured will be going back to the temple with me. Those who are able are to continue with the mission at hand.” Miria looked down at Dovey, who rose and held onto her sister for support.

Taking in the boarders that included Masters of the Guardians of Light, Trevalus bowed in respect to them and awaited the decisions. The fact that the previous Grand Master, who he remembered from most of his time as a Guardian of Light was the one to take charge of giving out orders. The fact that he fell into the first group, and the silence of his old master seemed to fall into the second was not lost on him. It had been a happy reunion even if under such circumstances, but he was used to letting go. Perhaps in the future near once more he would be able to speak with his old master, not to mention the sister that he had tried to help.

Watching the Master and her sister he gave a solemn nod of acknowledgment. "I am ready to continue once the injured are safely away." with a soft buzz from a stolid trunk he stood nearly at attention as he waited. Waited to see who would be going with him.

    Coming to War

Letting the antics of launching wash over him he did not pay much heed to what happened outside the craft he had boarded. Death would not come for him now from his companion sith. That would come either during the battle on the surface or some later time. To kill someone before their usefullness was spent, it was wastefull and not the way to do things. At least technically, he had lost count of those he had engineered the death of just to see another sith die.

Still, they eventually launched, now three in number. The other two apparently taking another ship. When the other ship 'vanished' and the smug nature of satisfaction was echoed in his telepathic senses, Halucion decided to let the leader of their group know, and only her. Linking to her mind directly he caused a single question to form about the man that was piloting them, "Cannon fodder?"

After they landed he soon found himself taking stock of their surroundings, of the hanger, the sith, and the lower beings scuttling about. Then it happened, he heard it clear as anything. A question about the presence of a Jedi. Turning to look, he saw nothing, but this only meant it was in the realm of his own mind. Taking no comfort in that he drew the force and his mental shields into alignment, asking out to the void. 'Of who do you speak?' As for the hanger situation he simply gently began to muddle the minds of the simpler beings that were already panicked, nudging the parenoia, the fear, and the anxiety to the point where they would start to make mistakes. Otherwise he would wait for the true leader of the Sith here to lay out a means of attack, and the voice to become something more then a curiosity and a warning.

    Temple of Light, TCC

Lenea stood impatiently as she waited for Danny to reply to her message. After all, what good did it do keeping both of them in the TCC when they had ‘guests’ to greet? It was getting mildly annoying to put it diplomatically.

But finally she got a response, “Master Lahana wants you to greet them in the hanger Lenea. But she wants Padawan Thrace to stay where he is. Please be diplomatic about it…don’t tick off the new arrivals.”

Lenea snorted at the last part. She had a temper sure, but she wasn’t stupid. Especially when at least one of the ‘guests’ was a Mando. Turning to the oddly silent Padawan, Lenea explained the situation.

“Apparently they want me to greet our ‘friends’ in the hanger. But they want you to stay and keep watch here,” Lenea said, using air-quotes on the ‘friends’ part, “I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

And with that, she left the room, wondering what to expect in the hanger. As the young woman walked the halls of the Temple, it seemed oddly quiet. Part of her wondered where everyone was at, but then again, they wouldn’t have called Danny in if things were normal and okay here. So she just ignored the silence, and continued to the hanger.

When she arrived, it was just in time to see what looked to be a Caamasi pass out, with a Mandalorian and a scruffy looking teenage girl standing above him. Or at least, she assumed it was a male, since Caamasi weren’t exactly a common sight these days, especially in the Outer Rim where Lenea had spent most of her life.

"How about it Pig-pen? What's your story?" Lenea heard the Mando say, as he turned his helmeted head towards the girl.

The girl looked a little surprised to be asked that question, as she stuttered out, "Well Its a long one but for time's sake I'll paraphrase. I'm part of a long lost family line connected to the great Nomi Sunrider. I was told that there was this creature on Rhen Var who might have info on my family history since I know barely anything about it. That's where I found Sitan frozen in carbonite. Unfortunately we were attacked by pirates and forced to come out of hyperspace in Saridona's orbit. You basically know the rest from there."

Hmm…Sunrider…interesting…Lenea thought, as that name had cropped up when Danny was trying (emphasis on the ‘trying’) to teach her Jedi history, back when he had trained her somewhat.

But she had stood in the doorway long enough, and stepped forward, ”Hey! Are you from that Gladiator up in orbit? I’m your welcoming party.”

“Gaan, what was the last conversation that we had that you can remember?”

He didn’t care if he had to reconstruct her memory one story at a time he was going to do it. He needed one of his newest friends, and war councilor, back.

The newly dubbed Jedi Peacekeeper listened to the story of the young lady, who claimed to be from the ancient Sunrider family. “Bogden? Wow, you only missed it by about 30,000 light years.” Even though Taab suggested that she be the one to carry her Caamasi friend down to the Med bay, Voj had another plan in mind. He turned and looked at clutch of Mandalorians tending to Sitan “Actually, seeing as Miss Sunrider’s navigational skills might be lacking I think Captain Vel, Major Pythos, and Major Shysa down to the Med Center with our injured guest.”Voj gave the three elder Journeymen a nod and Seanna directed them as Allynic was propped up by Seneca and Leianna.

As the group bound for the Med Bay started to leave another young woman, whom Voj was not familiar with, entered the hanger, “Hey! Are you from that Gladiator up in orbit? I’m your welcoming party.” Before Voj could address her, Khalifa chimed in with, “You talking to me sister? About time someone came here to take me somewhere else. I’m getting tired of this here hanger. I’m here on this planet so might as well get my training started.”

Voj snapped around and put his hand up in front of Khalifa. “Freeze. You are not going anywhere young lady.” He then turned his attention to Jaxon. “Now, Captain Renn, if you would be so kind as to escort Miss Sunrider back on to her ship and conduct a thorough inspection. Ensure that there is nothing on board that might bring harm to the Temple or any of its inhabitants.” He looked back to Khalifa, “Think of it as if it as a customs inspection.”

Jaxon walked over to the young female and extended his arm out, pointing towards the freighter’s loading ramp. He waited for Khalifa to lead him into the old Dynamic-class. Out of the corner of his eye Voj saw the group of small boys, who have consisted of the hanger crew approach the young lady.

Once the youngsters had departed, Voj turned to the older Mandalorian. “Well, Sergeant, I hope you are not partial to your current position. According to our mutual friend, Grand Master Decinchi, the Journeymen Knights are now being re-tasked as the new Temple Security Force, with me at the helm. I know that this has been your gig and I respect that. So in that light, I am promoting you to the rank of Major and placing under your command the interior security of the Temple along with making you the Armorer. What do you say, Major Taab?”

    ----- ----- ----- ----- -----

The hanger boys had been hanging back, in the shadows like they normally do, when the girl who came down in the YT-2400. They noticed that she wore a mechanic’s jumpsuit, carried a hydrospanner, and had engine grease spots on her hands. Finally someone they could feel comfortable asking for some help with their new project. Once they noticed that no one was going to be going with Lenea the cautiously approached her.

“Excuse us, Ma’am, but we need some help. We’ve run into a mechanical dilemma and need your expertise. We’ve got twelve of these made, but we can’t get the engines and hyperdrive to sync up, do you think you can assist us?”

They handed her a picture of what they had been working on in a hope that it would peak her interest.

At first Ian was worried that he had upset Ms. Sandstrider with his suggestion that they remain in the TCC. He was about to take it back and suggest something else (what he didn't know) but then she allayed his fear.

“Probably a good idea. At least till those transports have landed. Let me ask Danny about that…”

But she made no move to the comm console. She just stood there, with what looked to Ian to be a half vacant expression on her face. It lasted for only a moment, but in that time Ian worried that she too might be falling under the influence of whatever it was about this place that caused people to lose consciousness. When it had passed she went back to looking at the tactical display. Ian had to wonder if she was ever going to contact her brother.

He could sense her impatience now. Was it something he had done? Had he misheard her? Was he supposed to be contacting the rescue group headed out to the ruins? Or was she just annoyed that he had made the suggestion to stay in the first place? Then she got "that look" again and the sense of annoyance was gone.

“Apparently they want me to greet our ‘friends’ in the hanger. But they want you to stay and keep watch here. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

Ian was startled by this news. How had she contacted the others? Ian knew she had made no transmission. Was she making this up so she wouldn't be stuck in the TCC with him any longer or did she have "alternate" methods of communicating with her brother?

Ian just let out a quiet "Ok" and then waited for her to leave. After she had gone he turned to the Grandmaster's droid who was still monitoring everything. "That was..." he searched for the right word "...creepy. Wasn't it little guy?" The droid whistled a reply, but again Ian didn't know what it was saying. There was probably a display somewhere amongst all the others that could give him a translation but Ian couldn't be bothered to find it right now. Instead he watched on the tactical monitor as the transports from the Defender landed and began dispersing their troops.

Darth Helinith’s ears, head, her whole body was reverberating with the sound of screaming. It took her a full minute to work out it was her own mouth screaming like a banshee. Terror had completely overtaken her on the ride through hell and when her spear hit the ground, almost making her bite her own tongue off, her mouth was still open, frozen in horror. She would have been happy to stay like that for the rest of the day just to recover but evidently from the chaos around them that would not be happening any time soon. She fell out of her spear face down on the ground before pulling herself up onto her feet much faster than she would have liked to have done. She overheard Malkuth say something like "All accounted for?"
She opened her mouth to reply and vomited into the snow. She felt a warm hand touch her shoulder softly.
“You okay?” Mal, face greener than usual, gave her a concerned look.
She nodded bravely albeit weakly. “Kriffin’ obscurum are so going to pay for making me do that.” She ignited her lightsaber and pulled out her cloak from a small pack she’d had strung on her back. “Kriffin’ cold planet too…stupid snow.”
Mal pulled on his helmet which had been strapped into a small compartment on his spear and ignited his own lightsaber. Malkuth was already running off and he charged after him. Safety was usually in numbers, after all. Helinith overtook him and did a massive leap over the wall and he followed close behind. He almost crashed into her back on the ground- she was deflecting the fire of a round, ball-shaped tank with her lightsaber.

Mal studied their quarry closely while jumping over some dead bodies. Helinith lept at the thing, trying to strike her lightsaber on it, but it was deflected easily off the field. Unabated, she instead swung around and went to work on some of the infantry firing at them. Mal reached into a handy pocket strapped to his belt and pulled a grenade out, trying to keep it hidden in his hand and making his way closer to the tank.
