all right, since our old, nice long thread got locked, and i didn't see that someone had started a new one.........

THE SHAVING HABITS OF BIG DV VERSION/PART/CHAPTER 2!!!!

darth asabrush, are you still working on the archive of the old posts? perhaps it could be posted here. a history tale sort of thing, perhaps?

 

Since this thread is reborn and the original will sink into obscurity someone needs to explain the title NOW so that before it's forgotten the reason of it's significance is preserved in the begining were it belongs.

Obi Anne...here is an idea that Hama suggested to me to p[reserve all of the old Dark Lord threads:

Bookmark the old thread, and every month or so, unlock it and post in it (up it) and then relock it. That way it will not be dumped from the system.

Hope that helps.

 

I think someone should save the whole thing too, just in case.

Needless to say, I'm not too happy about this. Fortunately, I already did my venting in OT, so I've arrived in this forum fresh ready for a nice bubble bath. Anyone want to join in?

tomorrow i am off, and i would like to postpone doing my massive amounts of homework (what else is new? hee hee!). so i can go thru the old thread and post a mini-brief-sorta-history if y'all want. that is, if you don't mind, darth asa! i don't want to impose on your territory, and the first part of your recap was extremely well done! and very thorough too! i'm just talking about a minor listy mini-recap until you are able to get the rest of yours done if you still want to do that! let me know!

Someone said that The Starbacks thread got closed, ans I was most angry (and sad ) So imagine my outrage when I saw our dear thread locked!!!! There's nothing for me there now. I miss the old Shaving Habits of Big DV *sniff*

Hmm... should I have some confectionary masterpiece waiting for him after his bath and massage? Baths aren't really my thing: I'm best suited to honor DV in the kitchen.

This may seem trivial to most, but I just can't work out how Vader shaves. He must have to take ALL his head gear of atleast every two days to get that close great shave look we see in ROTJ.....I NEED ANSWERS!!!!

Maybe he uses the Force to make his hair stop growing so he doesn't have to shave. Or whatever caused the scars on his head could also have permanently damaged the hair follicles.

Maybe its a sitch thing to just not have hair for some weird reason. I mean, think back, did Maul have hair? Nah, and the emperor, not Palpatine in Ep. I, I mean the emperor in 4, 5, and 6, you cant ever see his full head but its hard to picture him with hair anyways. And plus, since you are kinda corrupted and all from the dark side, maybe your body becomes corrupted and all growth stops. I dont know, maybe im just full of it too.

lol! i was going thru the old one today, and i saw that and laughed!

copy and paste, why didn't i think of that?

do you guys realize how long the old thread is? i ended up only getting a couple hours today to go thru it, cuz i had stuff to do, but sith! it's looooonnng. i'm thru pg 30. it's fun to reread it though. even tho i didn't join in until much later, it's still fun! or i'm just weird which is tht case anyway, hee!

The Shaving Habits of Big DV archive will be posted in parts in this thread. This is my only mission at present.

I will post the one I did a couple of weeks ago here first.

I'm still rather upset that this had to happen at all as we were doing no harm whatsoever where we were. However, the powers that be made a decision that we needed to leave our present home. So we have ended up here in this little know backwater of a board (no offence meant).

This thread should grow and hopefully stay rooted here for a while or atleast until it gets moved on the whim of the Mod squad.

Welldone Jendiggity for starting this again. However, we shouldn't of had to.

This stuff is GOLD! I never read through the first posts, but they are sooo funny!

 

Yeah, those were funny days. I won't be cutting and pasting rather I'll be giving a basic outline of what was discussed. However, to the rest of you please cut and paste and get as much of the old thread on to the pages of the new one. That way we won't lose anything! We can then have the full text of the original and a comprehensive list to glance at! We may even get to quite a few pages in our new home, make it feel like the old place!

BTW, This is a prime opportunity to recruit new members to our cult......er ....... organisation. Yes, that's what I meant. Ignore the C word, wipe it from your memory. Anyhoo.....

Considering the general view of emperor of the women in the empire I think there is a small chance DV´s lawyers are female.

I wonder how rich Darth is. He probably had a good wage as commander of the Executor. That is one explanation to how he can afford a bubble bath. So who did get that money when DV died? Wouldn´t it be funny if Luke inherited it? But as the good guy he is, he probably donated it for charity.

Hmm, so they resurrected Executor after the Battle of Endor?
