Here's a bit of a random question.

Who are your favorite Star Wars authors (including why, if you want)? You can use old EU or new EU authors in your answer.

Rank them, if you feel like it. I don't care.

 

My favorite SW author is Tim Zahn, I really enjoy how he writes. It's like your inside the scene your reading. He also goes into what everyone is thinking/doing and why it is.

 

This is funny. I just walked out of a second hand bookstore that had a bunch of Star Wars books and novels. They all looked interesting, but I was on a hunt for Labyrinth of Evil and I didn't find that, so I didn't purchase anything. I am currently reading the novelization of Revenge of the Sith though and I really like the author's style already despite being only a couple chapters in. Matthew Stover is the writer, I believe. Can't check. It's a stinking ebook and if I check, I will lose my place. Curse you, ebooks! X(

That's what I've heard, plus I have read a few excerpts. I tried to find a free download like I did Revenge, but no luck. I might have to break down and pay for the stinking ebook. *sulks*

Speaking of the novels, I am really enjoying the Rogue One novelization. I like how Alexander Freed jumps between the point of view of each character.

Well done, if I may say so myself.

After this one, I move onto Catalyst.

Then I finally get around to the rest of the Aftermath trilogy.

Buy the Dark Lord Trilogy from Amazon. I checked, and there are used copies starting at $6.55.

You will get three great books in one: LOE, ROTS, and DL:TRODV.

It's about 1,100 pages chock full of great Sith material.

Do it.

I just randomly chose to reread Chapter 11 of LOE and it is so good!

Yoda and Kenobi are discussing Count Dooku, Sifo-Dyas and Kamino. So fascinating.

I need to reread this entire book!
