Well as I as I see it, nobody is perfect. So a Sith wanting perfection is useless unless they strive to be the best Sith he/she/it can be.

 

If one is perfect, the order dies. Nobody to crave the knowledge. A glass ceiling if you will.

Also I agree with WookieeRage. If a Sith is perfect then there is nothing to strive to be. If they didn't have any cravings or desires they wouldn't be Sith

 

An excellent thought, Sinrebirth . Yet another reason why I prefer the Sith over the Jedi. I've always believed that no one is an expert in anything. I don't care what it is. Things are always changing and there is always something new to be learned in any level of expertise. The day one thinks he is an expert will be the day something comes along that will prove he is not. The reason perfection is an unattainable goal is because it is meant to be a carrot on a stick, pushing us to do better, try harder, dig deeper. Without that goal ever before us, we would grow stagnant and complacent and that is when we are in danger of being destroyed. Perfection is a delusion; that level of confidence is, in fact, ignorance; ignorance is a quality attached to a fool. Let us never follow the path from perfection to foolishness.
