Rereading legacy volume 1 (thinking about getting the super volumes on Amazon so I can read the rest of the story)
What exactly was the nature of Nihilus', Bane and Andeddu's disapproval of Krayt? Yes he wasn't adhering to Bane's teachings, but neither did Sideous really (once he had the Empire set up) and Nihilus and Adeddu(?) are pre-Bane so I wouldn't have thought they'd be particularly bothered by Bane's complaints.

 

Ahh. So basically no Sith in cannon or Legacy can get over themselves enough to cooperate.

 

That's pretty much the gist of it.

 

... I was about to grumble about how authors and screenwriters need to write some decent Sith stories because that sort of politics is stupid and not at all realistic but then I actually thought about it.

 

The proper idea of cooperation is like a coin flip: "Heads, Sith win; tails, non-Sith lose."

 

*reclines in the rafters with a chilled Guinness bomb shot* I would like to think I did the Empire proud. I spent the weekend destroying someone else's childhood memories and I enjoyed it tremendously.

I hope the gorgeous weather found its way to your respective parts of the north this weekend as well. It's been a long and painful wait for days like these.

 

Rather humorous, in it's own way.

 

This seems to have been Lucas's idea. Some Legends stories tried to change this (Kaan, Krayt), but then a character complains that cooperating makes them "not true Sith".

 

Really, won't it be that there's always something that "all true Sith" will point to in any leader that will make them unworthy to be Sith?
