Here is a song I wrote in 2003. It was written right after my Grandmother passed away. I was sitting in a bar in a very nice hotel while all these people were rushing around me trying to accomplish something. And I was just drinking and not trying to accomplish a thing.

SO MANY PRETTY PEOPLE WALKING STAIRS
FILING LINES AND I?M WASTING TIME
HEARD YOU LOST YOUR LIFE AND WHAT YOU GONNA DO NOW
I?M JUST BIDING MY TIME MAYBE THE NEXT IN LINE

I?VE BEEN DEAD, TO BED, IN YOUR HEAD
BUT I HAVEN?T SEEN A THING LIKE YOU
TO THE MOON, IN JUNE
CLOSE TO YOU, NOT A THING,
WHO DO YOU PRAY 2?

ONE DOZEN THOUGHTS KEEP INVADING MY MIND
PSYCHOTIC PEOPLE, FAMILY TIES

BUT IT WAS THE SADDEST TIME, THAT I CAN REMEMBER

Perfection

Perfection
What is it?
Is there a perfect place on this earth?
Is there a perfect thing that exists?
Or has existed?
The perfect sunset? (its really just dust and pollution reflecting the sunlight)
A perfect rock? (really how can you tell it is perfect)
A perfect rose? (it is going to die in a few days)
A perfect person? (please, none exist although one existed
but even he was not truly human)

There is no perfection
Why can?t you understand that
Perfection is unattainable
You will never be perfect

This world is imperfect
It is fallen, laid to waste
Abandoned by its creator

However . . . if you look closely you will find that
Despite imperfection there is beauty in the flawed

Then ought of nowhere there was a fly. Trespassing in the house that I had at least 22 years left to purchase.
MY GOD! what was he thinking!
In due time, there was no physical way he could survive.
Now I was on the hunt.

But first...Wait a second, where was I?

Ok, Try to imagine this next part as if I were screaming.
Are you ready?...Well?
No... Not like that...Like this!
Yes, that's it... better... Ok here we go.

I PUSHED A GREEN BUTTON AND SAW A COWBOY WRESTLING A BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now all the laws have been broken.
I was fleeing from the scene of the crime.

Yesterday was just another day of lots of rain on top of the sunshine.
Frank Sinatra was playing oh so gently in the back ground.
Where this came from, I have no idea.

But ghost riders were approaching from the east. And we were running out of time for what some would say is.

That last sip from the bottle.
The last draw from the smoke.

And the sweet kiss good night on the false reality which is this moment.

Do you see them as unkind? Or maybe just a little absurd.

I like to think of them as reflections. Things that I must have known long ago and have merely begun to imagine that they are real.

The sweet taste of amber ale that I know all too well.

Did the bottle in front of me know of it's destiny? That it would wind up in my grasp.

This bottle in front of me is plain to see, and looking through my past.

Where?

Maybe about 5 seconds ago. That's when it became my soul.

Part of me that shall forever be...and never be too slow.

define the meaning: The meaning is the truth. The truth that we search for through boards and silence and typing keys scorned.

Yes that will do...That will do nicely.

To Quote myself from the post before last.

Well it just wont do! I feel more explanation is needed. That poem seem to convey all the anger towards the world around the writer. It was like climbing to the mountain top and holding your middle finger up high in the sky. Screaming at the top of your lungs. F*#K YOU!!!! and for me that would be breath taking. This fit of rage is so F*#cking cool, that it doesn't even have a title! That to me is saying that even though the writer took the time to write it. In the end the hateful world isn't worth giving a title. It shall remain nameless. And there is nothing that the control freaks can do about it.

Yeah!!! Now that sounds better. Hope I didn't offend anyone. If so I'm sorry and perhaps you should think twice before dealing with the SITH!

A Mother's Day

Entering a state of numbness

The amount of passion for lack of another word is amazing. You are by far one of the best poets I have ever encountered. Your words are like candy to my eyes. I take the good with the bad and leave the rest on the battle field. It's the emotion that drives it on!!!! Never stop.

Here is another song I wrote back in 1996. What is funny about it is two years later the town I was writing about was hit by a tornado. I swear! Well it wasn't funny at all. But it made me say MMMMMM!

Sitting outside being caressed by the breeze
