The size of the Galaxy and some other questions

    Hello, it is my first post there, and i'm spanish (i will try to keep an understandable english).
    I am seeking some information, i have not found it in later posts.

    I have seen that everybody says that the Empire fleet had about 25000 Imperial Star Destroyers, i would want to know what official source contains that information.

    The other question is about the size of the Empire, I want to know if an official number of civilized planets owned by the Empire (during the rebellion era) existes. Or something about the size of the galaxy (in planets, space-travel time, etc...)

    No "official" source exists giving that information. So it really comes down to what the EU authors tell us. You may have more success in the EU forum.
