    Going off of a discussion in another thread I wondered what will become of the Anakin/Luke and now Rey (who may or may not be a Skywalker) lightsaber.

    Do we think Luke with use it, even though he has his own green blade saber he built himself? Do you think Rey will continue to use it? Will Rey be trained to build her own and get her own crystal?

    I don't know, and I'm not sure what I think either! Speculation commence!

    I think it will be used but by whom I do not know... Maybe Leia has to use it to defend herself from someone or something...

    I'm not entirely sure what I think, but I'm leaning towards "Rey keeps it".

    Rey should keep it and Luke should be shown with his green saber.

    I just want Rey, in her becoming a Jedi, to build her own. But I think for her training she uses this saber for sure.

    I certainly agree that Luke should have his green one from ROTJ. But he could still keep his old blue one (as a Jedi artefact, not to be used), and have Rey build herself a new one.

    One thing that (I don't think) we've ever seen is training by lightsaber sparring. That would be awesome to see, Luke and Rey sparring with their lightsabers.

    I've always wanted to see a jedi training by running through some sort of gauntlet and having to fight multiple flying remote seeker balls.
