Okay, I have an idea for the performance which actually happened in our musical Oliver! last year. We finished putting the set together on opening day, which included painting. So nothing was dry on opening night. Seth walked out and leaned against the railing like he'd practiced, then he got this look on his face. When he came offstage, we all saw that his hands had come of the railing brown from the wet paint! They repainted the spot the next day so the handprints disappeared, but it just about cracked us up in the middle of "Where is Love?".

Think we can use that?

 

So in between one of the posts (or now) can I write Jacen and Siri eloping?

Hehe, I love it! OK, I get post #7 (the one Mely said I could do). I think I'll have to re-watch Grease again, so I'll know what's going on... Or at least read the script. Anyways, I'll be more or less gone till Tuesday (we're going to visit our family for the Easter and we're traveling today, in a couple of hours). So I'll check back later.

Post 2: John is in the mall, and he decides that his career had hit an all-time low, so he needs some kind of award to jumpstart it, and the Bulwer-Lytton award is the best shot. But he needs a cast and crew, so when he sees the S/S gang in the mall, along with the handmaidens, Rejects, Jedi, and Sith, he decides that he's found the perfect victims of his plot. So he pitches the idea to them, and they agree. John decides that a revival of Grease is in order, so he asks Aragorn to direct.

Anyway, I just put up a new post for those eager S/S fans. Basically it is in the hospital, with the Jedi giving the report of Rose's midichlorian test; Yoda discovering a new enemy; the rejects witnessing someone come out of the closet (literally!) and Padme asking Vader to undergo a not so pleasant surgical procedure...

All right, I decided to ask if it's okay if I do Post 8, which is: "Practicing lines at home, final rehearsal, tension in the cast mounting." In this post, if I get to write them practicing their lines at home, I could work the Jacen/Siri elopement in, too. If it's okay, just let me know and I'll go ahead with it in my turn.

Umm, in case you haven't noticed by now, this is fan fiction, not fan film. We're not filming anywhere because it's a story we're writing.

::Jango and the Clonetroopers bow to the stunned audience as the music starts playing. Each of them produces a black umbrella, only Jango has a colorful, green-blue-red one::

Jango: I'm siiiinging in the rain...

::water begins to pour down::

J: ... just siiiinging in the rain...

::makes a pirouette::

J: ... what glooorious feeling, I'm haaaappy again.

::whirls the umbrella::
