Thanks for the refill dude! Yes, I am really thinking about getting the armor too. I have been doing alot of research, looking and shopping around. I havent quite decided where I want to buy from yet. I have looked on Ebay, and contacted a couple people I was referred to by TK409. If you havent seen his website yet, check it out, it is AWESOME... www.TK409.com. Lots of tips and how-to's, plus he is great at answering questions and helping people out. If you want me to forward you some of the info I have gotten I would be glad to. Its quite an expensive project, but I think it would be well worth it in the long run. Believe it or not, the Stormtrooper costume is actually on the cheaper end when you look at Boba Fett and Vader costumes, they can run into the several thousand credits category.

Haha, yeah, I am sure it isnt all that easy. I have ran across some tutorials though on how to modify the armor to make that alittle less of an ordeal, thank goodness!

This is almost like a chat room today, lol.

I'll let you know ASAP, I am waiting on 2 more replies about prices and availability, then I am making my choice.

One of the top guys in the 501st for NC is supposedly selling kits for a decent price, but he hasnt replied to any emails yet, its been a few days now. But I will go elsewhere if I dont hear from him soon. Like I said, I got a couple more people giving me prices.

Here is what I have so far...

Doug Barrett: Stormtrooper Kit- $580 w/ Free USA Shipping. He also has a Biker Scout kit for $750 that includes, armor, helmet and blaster.

GotArmor.com sells Fully Assembled Armor for $775 plus Shipping.

333Trip (Ebay): Armor Kits for $650 plus shipping. These are the newer ANH kits with improved parts.

I think there's 2 different types of material that the armor is made out of. 1 is better than the other from what I hear.

Is one of the 501st guys your talking about named Felix or Sean ?

Sean Dudley is the one I have been trying to contact, I was told he is selling the kits.

ABS plastic Armor is the best, all the kits I am checking on are ABS.

    I posted some prices above^^^

Hey there, yes I had a great weekend also. I did buy some armor, I got it from SithPlanet.com. I didnt need a helmet and he was willing to sell me a kit of armor without the helmet kit included. I have bought from him in the past and he is a good guy. I just paid for it this morning, so maybe I will have it by the weekend! Are you going to get you a kit?

Well I finally heard this girls voice on the phone who I've been talking online with and she had a very beautiful voice, she kept me up late Saturday night/Sunday morning though. It was worth it though. :D

Also got 2 new records this weekend and a Pantera shirt I'ld been wanting. Eminem-Marshall Mathers and Tom Petty and the Heaqrtbreakers- Damn the Torpedos.

Met another single girl Sunday... we'll see. hopefully she want be another one to stand me up. Which is something that seems to becoming a trend.[face_plain] And hopefully she doesn't hate Star Wars. After my ex-wife who hated Star Wars, I'ld be happy meeting someone who just doesn't hate my favorite movie. If they actually like it too, that's a bonus.
